Im skeptical man. I think its real in that he does it, but I dont think he is actually crippled. I have known two kids who had to use such crutches (multiple sclerosis I believe) and there is no way they could have balanced like that without the crutches. He uses the crutches to simply push himself, standing and balancing completely on his own (even giving a little jump after he lands). idk. The flip does look a bit unnatural when it spins as well, but that part is more believable.
