To improve actions per minute. Also to keep warmed up. You have to always be fast if you wanna keep a 3-5 hundred APM average. it's sick. I am averaged at 90-100

Its to stay warmed up, not the APM thing. APM doesn't matter much at all. You can have a "perfect" earlygame (through first rax) at like 60 APM.

What does a football player do before playing? He warms up. Every athlete warms up before doing whatever the fuck they're supposed to. At the start of the game there isn't much to do, do he keeps his speed up to stay 'warm/in rhythm'.

Just get over this 'APM' thing. It doesn't matter if your APM is super high and you suck at the game.

The warm up is to prevent from pulling a muscle. You can't compare a "pro-gamer" to an actual athlete has to keep their body in good shape. JulyZerg can be bigger than a donkey and still would outplay is peers.

Actually, you do have to stay in good shape as a progamer. You have to move your fingers quickly and also you have to keep your company's image up.

You know that it's common to have each worker gather from separate minerals than to just select all and right click on one.

If you do that, you start off with less minerals than the opponent, because your workers can't mine from the same mineral field at the same time - which means you won't get your 6th worker as quickly, and won't be able to get your buildings/scouts out as fast as the other player and won't be able to build your strategy as efficiently.

Why are people commentating that this isn't boxer and that the clicking is pointless? It keeps their fingers warmed up for insame microings later on. I see his marine micros (which is hella crazy pro), but he didn't go infantry. Mechanics however can dominate zerg. Which is probably why Boxer decided to use mechs.

boxer got the upper hand from the beginning of the game by "trapping" his opponent in his main and expansion base, and also "booby trapping" other empty mineral fields by putting mines. i believe he is going to win starting at the 10 minute mark
