@ecapital 46...music is subjective, but Sinatra and Riddle are hard to beat! Lol?? Now now, no need to be rude! There is no wrong and right just what each of us prefers...Sinatra is in a class by himself when interpreting lyrics...my opinion!!
@bullfrog11758 Negative. This is a great one (mainly due to Riddle's arrangment), but June Christy's ("Remember's those Kenton Days") surpasses this one with ease - and it's not even close. Lucky for you, someone has posted it on here, so you can hear it for yourself.
I would listen sing and dance to this song as a child. Tonight I was letting my daughter listen to NY/NY by Mr. Frank. she is graduating from kindergarten and they are singing NY/NY but replacing the words to First grade/First grade (yes, I'll be crying). I glanced and saw this beautiful picture. Now I sit, listen and weep. This song is beauty, love, loneliness, the past and present all in one. I am happy tonight to here my long lost song.....
Wow! Frank Sinatra forever!i love this song and i love Sinatra.Charlton heston said about Ava Gardner that was interested only in two things in her life:Frank Sinatra and gin.I think that are two things very interesting!especially Frank! and gin,Why not?!
Dear Emile, thank you for sharing and many greetings,i hope you have a GREAT weekend! kisses!!

this is in my playlist to which I keep coming back from time to time, like visiting an old and reliable friend. Thanks for uploading.

Billie Holiday and Sinatra are communicating the sadness of the lyrics. Christy is just singing the song well!

@saintcruzin lol, Sinatra's version owes everything to Riddle's outstanding arrangement, not his singing.
