thank you for having this video up. I really love to see him play. Wow you have alot of him lol And for the guy who asked about how tall he is ....lol He was 5 10
Let's turn Link onto everyone you know. I knew him in 1964 and did som shows with them on KOMA out of Oklahoma City. He's a legend and quite oveerlooked. He's a real Hall of Famer
This guy never got stale or stagnant! That is a miracle that most artists can not pull-off. And it's a tragedy that he has been so freaking marginalized.
Link should not be a cult hero, but a household name.
This sounds like a product of its time while also sounding evergreen and energetic. Brilliant...
Was he so small ? Because I'd never had a chance to see him Live. Thats why I'm thinking that he play's a baritone guitar here. Great post . Thank You very much
I have this on VHS, taped it off MTV back in 86 or 87 probably. Does anyone have the Green Onions jam that ended the program with all the guitarists onstage together? I ran out of tape during that song, so I haven't seen it over 20 years.
This Guy lost a lung to tuberculosis,It's amazing he sung like that. A true rock legend R.I.P. Link Rock 'N' Roll Forever Thanks for giving us distortion and the power chord
I only knew him as the Rumble man, who invented the power chord. And as the guitarist on Red Hot. Now I found out he's a great singer too. ;o)# And black leather sure does look cool on him.
WHO HAS THE LYRICS?

Take a look at Bono during U2 's 1992 ZooTV tour. His "The Fly" character looks much like Link during this era.

For me, he stole the show from all the other great guitarists. A perfect performance from a Legendary Rocker!!! Thanks for posting this!!!

Link was the original rock master! This is one of his best! Now I know where Neil Young got all his moves!

@Keijz74 He didn't play on Billy Lee Riley's Red Hot. Maybe you mean the cover Robert Gordon put out in the 70s.
