I actually prefer the old school games to modern games, though I do like some new games like Twilight Princess, Donkey Kong Country Returns and whatnot. But they don't hold a candle to atari :3
@potatoe495 Dude I can admit this is a bad vid. I've done better in newer videos. I was honestly testing the waters with this vid. I may not of been around when atari was on top. But I played many of the games growing up. Also the whole mistake thing wasn't saying all those things were bad but weren't treated right like the 7800.

My first console, Pong was the first game I ever played, followed by the classic mini tabletops like Frogger, Donkey Kong etc..then came my Coleco Vision, Atari 7800 and then the undisputed king..the Nes and so on with todays systems. The bad games is just something highlighted by todays critics, during the era it was just cast aside like any other NES, SNES, N64, GC, PSX, SATURN, DC, WII, PS3 bad game.... all systems have their share of eyesore games, the system is unmistakably a living legend for the good memories and many experiences.
i am trying to figure out how to connect the atari 2600 to my flat screen without messing up my tv. there is a way to do it but i dont know how....something about connecting it to a vcr or something to that effect.
He's trying to be funny like the Angry Video Game Nerd or the Irate Gamer, which Irate Gamer isn't funny, but he's a hack of the AVGN. Kid you're not funny and you don't really know what you're talking about, the 7800 was a great production by Atari.
@yeroc1337 I can admit that I made some mistakes in this vid. 1: I wan't trying to be like the nerd or irate (he sucks btw) Also I never said the 780 was bad it was an awesome system and I own one. What I meant was the marketing and all that was bad.

And, while I completely disagree on you saying that any single thing for the 7800 could've been a mistake, I'm not going to argue it, because it doesn't matter, that is a matter of your personal opinion. I believe that it was a great system altogether, and I own one as well. All in all, I just like to play the games.

the atari 7800 is not a mastake it plays atari 2600 games and is games are realy good. but i hate the controllers but u can use an atari 2600 controller to solve that
nice to see you include Air Sea Battle, Combat AND Kaboom I have to disagree with Pitfall....I never saw the appeal. Yes most of the games you never got anywhere it seemed even more pointless with Pitfall...
your voice sounds rather young which means you werent even born when atari was in its heyday. so, leave the atari reviews to those older peeps who have the experience.

The 7800 is not a mistake. It is actually really good. The CONTROLLER was a mistake. I appreciate your love for the atari, but people from the generation of mine and yours should not act as if we were around in the good old days. Because we weren't. Don't get me wrong, this list is very helpful (and I gave it a thumbs up). Also, try to finish your sentences before you start new ones.

No one bought video games not because they couldn't afford them, but because they seemed to be a waste of money, and because people had less money, they chose to not waste it on what seemed to be unnecessary. Then, the NES came along and well, you know that story (probably)
