  • im 14 year old i have almost black belt in TKD

  • This makes me so mad and sad actually. I wish i started martial arts at a earlier age. I'm 18 years old and just starting in bjj and muay thai. I don't think its impossible for me to become a pro mixed martial artist now

  • for these kids mma is midget martial arts

  • Little Cung Le at 5:15

  • Little Cung Le at 5:15 haha

  • this is cool as hell man, i wish i started this young.

these kids are the next shogun ruas

  • I have a black belt in TKD and Karate, i trained for about 4-5 years in each. How long have these guys been training kuz it's intense. (btw i'm 13 how old r they)

  • im 14, been training for 2 years and my record right now is 6-1...lost to a 17 year old...i kida got my ass wooped, he didnt meet weight but i still want to fight him and yeah...i practice kickboxing and bjj

  • ten socnds in one of the kids does a cool kick thing

  • Their athleticism is absolutly amazing. Their Jiu Jitsu is the best ive seen in anyone that age.

    Simply Amazing

  • There athleticism is through the roof, kid's have a lot of energy, I bet there barley tired, a juice box and couple animal crackers in the corner and there all good.

  • These kids are bellow the age of consent. Same reason we don't allow little kids to drive, have sex, drink, etc. Someone made a decision that it was OK for a child to fight full contact in a cage. That's just wrong. I started martial arts when I was 8. I started full contact when I was 16. I didn't miss much. I had conditioning and coordination. I love a good fight. I love a good KO or submission. I hate watching children beat one another. It gives mma a bad name.

  • You should watch it again because someone with your experience should be able to see that this is an exhibition and every technique was controlled. These two have trained together and are good friends, its not a cage fight its an exhibition of their skill.

  • I think this is disgusting. Kids mma? I think every single person watching thsi is sick. Parents should have DCFS called on them. This is nothign more than child abuse. If we arrest people for dog fights, why aren't we arresting people who sponsore children's cage fights?

  • this is awesome, those kids know their stuff, its amazing to think how they will be when they get older (future champs lol) you never know?

  • pretty good for 10, they deffinetly could be very good once they get older. they might want to just focus on one style or the other more though? i know its much easier when you get very good in one and then build other styles onto it (if theyre going to continue into MMA or UFC). bjj ftw :) i also train in it ^^ black belt and still going. ill be getting my stripe belt in a yearish hopefully and after that going for red :D

  • i want to do mma i wrestel and i am good at that and i have friends who do mma and i fight them and im prety good but i want in the cage!!!

  • this kids suck

  • Thats funny everyone else thinks they are pretty good ??

  • Did u c that crap a 3:00 wow im 13 i cant do that

  • hey i need a find fights like this cuz i just train and never realy get to fight legaly

  • i wish i could have done this when i was younger my parents woulda flipped. but i think the coolest part was at 3 mins how long have they actually been training though?

  • Thank you for your comment .

These guys have been training for about 3 years I think. They are great kids, very respectful and they are very good friends.

  • Good skill, the kids show great athleticism. They must be your best students. i would love to train tough kids like that.

  • There is the personal development aspect of it, which i think is the most important. HOWEVER, competition infront of spectators is about one thing only, winning. Theres no other reason to face off infront of a large group of people. Most of our kids in the midwest are infront of crowds of 2000-4000 people every weekend and draw 400-800 fighters (many of which are 8u).

  • Really, this isnt abuse, but these kids wouldnt last with a good wrestler. We have 6 and 7 year olds that would pin these kids.

  • Thanks for your comment, we dont really have much wrestling here in Australia so its hard to compare but the same as you I could say that my kids could submit a wrestler easy. I am not saying one is better than the other I think what ever sort your child decides to pursue then support it, as long as its not to dangerous of course.

  • this is ok i don't see them causing any REAL damage. they practice self defence and i hated to be picked on as a kid walking home from school so self defence and martial arts is a Great ACTIVITY for young ones.

  • I'm not worry about this as that's not a real fight-both of them control their power and that's a good way to keep children from injuries but at the same time develop their endurance and braveness. Face attacks is off..Hoeva the cage UFC MMA bloody fights stigma is too scary for most parents, dont you think?

  • Why?

  • 41,

Child abuse? really? The exhibition in this clip with pulled punches and minimal contact is much less physically demanding than football or other common sports activities for kids under 12. When the poster challenged you on it you tucked your tail between your legs and said that you mean the "other guys". I'm probably one of the "other guys" because my kids compete in a league which is a lot more physical than this clip. My kids get great grades and stay out of trouble. You're clueless

  • why would you do that. Theres better things kids could be doing. your a sick individual and so are the people who promote these fights. you cant compare it to football. football is a game. this is fighting. your foolish sense of pride is unbelievabl. or maybe its your stupidity. i cant believe people wont let kids be kids. whats one good reason for kids this young to be fighting? what would they get out of it? My son wouldnt do that but he will know how to defend himself.

  • These kids in the video are practicing martial arts, not fighting, the fact that it is in a cage does not make it brutal or less controlled. Its still a sport and if there are safety measures in place and it is not dangerous then what is the difference to football.

  • Fan of MMA. This is uncivilized Child Abuse. Children under 12 do not have the physical development, bone structure to handle MMA fighting. Most Children under 12 do not have the psychological ability retain the core value of Empathy when involved in MMA. We are breeding psycho's.

Parents are ignorant and will rationalize it's okay,"As long as it's my kid doing the beating"

This is opposite the honour discipline and Empathy for other, taught by true Martial Arts Sensei

  • Thank you for your narrow minded comment, I cannot speak for other schools or kids doing MMA on youtube but you couldnt be further from the truth, you do not know me, my kids or their parents to make such a brash comment. My kids are all very friendly, happy kids and they all come from good families. I teach them all self discipline and respect for others, if you watch the clip you will notice that they used total control during this DEMONSTRATION, neither got hurt at all not even a bruise.

  • Yes It's a narrow minded statement. I am speakering generally. With you and YOUR organization, I will stand correct and apologize. Now let me ask you. Have you not seen vid's of children been thrown on their heads ect? With respect Sensei.

  • Thank you for your apology, its very much appreciated. I understand your concerns and agree with some of your comments, unfortunately it is those type of schools which give the sport a bad name and then we all get thrown in under that banner. I relly care about my students and I am very particular with the techniques I teach. I admit the kids I teach are very tough but they gain that from years of experience.

  • lol i agree with people r breeding psycho's parents dont get it children fighitng in a cage is like two baby pitbulls fighting in a cage sooner or later that rage is gonna come out and parents do see what gonna happen in the long run when those kids become a teenager they r gonna have alot of problem on there hands

  • So with that comment, it's bad to teach self defense, self improvement, honor, disipline, personal courage, integrity, and physical fitness. By teaching these values in kids early makes for successful young adult. I think it's funny that the same people that "dis" this kinda behavour dont think its bad by teaching there kids karate or wrestling. Do you have kids? do you wrestle with your kids? then whats the differents.. the differents is your not instilling the values that a sensei teaches.

  • I agree with rustynugget

  • what a poon.

  • not really, after school i went to a gym to play basketball and it kept me from the streets.. do you think these kids roam the streets and looks for fights. No. because they got somewhere to go and play after school insted of getting caught up in a bad crowd.

  • yeah, kids in pop warner fball are safe!...

in football you got pitbulls going after a pigskin and trin' to grab it and run! That sport should be banned because it has more deaths then MMA.Steriods play a HUGE part in fball. Get your facts straight before you talk about a sport/ART i love.

  • Have you ever been to Thailand?? Kids there are training and fighting in Muay thai much younger than these kids.. but it's thier national sport and a way of life.. not a programme developed to breed psychos??

  • Unfortunately I have not been to Thailand yet but I do know that Muay Thai is a way of life over there and its a way for the kids to try and make a reasonable life for themsleves. On another issue I referee and know alot of MMA fighters and although they look crazy and wild in the ring/cage they are mostly really nice unassuming guys and thats the reality of the sport, like any professional athlete they get in a zone when its time to fight.

  • Hey 41,

First you go on a rant over a video that has very little contact and was clearly safer than any kids footbal game, then you backpedal when challenged and say that you meant the "other guys".

Well I'm probably one of the "other guys". My kids compete in the SoCal Pankration league, get excellent grades and don't fight at school. You can see their vid's by searching "dvdhatchery" They are great kids and are in excellent physical shape.

  • I agree with you. I think that kids who kind of grow up with (for example) MMA are those who know how to stay out of trouble, even though they can use it in the street they dont (depending on their parents, their club and/or how they grow up with the sport).

They know what they are capable to do, but thoose who dont know are the ones that fight in the street, probably just to get unnecessary respect.

I'm sorry for my bad spelling, I'm just a MMA fanatic Swede :)

  • Thank you XbitSamurai, another point I would like to make is that an MMA guy may fight when he needs to but most of crime from bashings is usually a group with a pack mentality. If you meet guys like Randy Couture and Dan Henderson you see straight away that they love the training and the camaraderie and they fight for a living you soon learn that MMA guys are not thugs that 9 times out of 10 they are really nice guys.

  • and my son would even be a better fighter than yours. even with all the training. do you get in a cage a duke it out? or do you just watch kids do it? either way you dont deserve to be a father cause you dont know how to be.

  • Thats a real adult attitude to take, my son is better than your son... what the !!

I am there instructor and I was controlling the fight because it was an EXHIBITION !! Do I get in the cage? I have not had a cage fight but I train with guys preparing to fight, so yes I duke it out quite a bit. I am also a MMA referee and if given the chance to do my life over I would love to get into the cage and fight. I love MMA as a sport, the fighters are not all thugs you know...

  • I knew you it. your just living your dreams through your kids.key word train. thats all you do. I know there not thugs. They are professional athletes. but kids? I believe there should be an age limit. Around 14 or 15 would be okay but 6-10 year olds come on. Your a loser whos not tough enough to make it proffesionall so your using your kids to boost your self esteem. or to try to make money off them. theres no difference from training when your 15, so why push kids so early is all im asking?

  • By the way I was asked if my kids would do this demonstration, so all 4 kids came from my gym and they are all close friends. This demo in the cage which incidentally was a charity show put on to raise money for street kids. As for me I probably am not good enough to fight in a cage but im 47 and im on the BJJ mat nearly every night and I still compete in BJJ tournaments. As for only training, I am happy getting in and mixing it up with my adult fighters, so what sport are you a professional in?

  • fair play to u, fuck granchichis hes a dick. this video is good. there thin lines with kids and combat sports but this is ok, theres no headshots n theyre sparing nt fighting. good for u for teaching kids about respect and discipline. n nt every1 has to be a cage fighter 2 have respect.

  • oh shit.

  • anyone kno of cage fightin in florida for kids??

  • Sorry unfortunately no I dont

  • do you know if they still put these shows on i have a 9yr old who would love to participate in this

  • No, this was not a show, the kids demonstrated at a charity event where they were raising money for street kids. Except for my girls demostration as well all the other fights that night were adult MMA matches.

  • i got a 12yr old and he loves it but here in lubbock texas i guess it is to violent but we love it and i am a amutre cagefighter trying to get to the top and i would like my son to have that experience to get back at me thanx love the kids and anyone who thinks it is stupid forget them i think it is good to learn

  • Iam a huge mma fan but kids fighting at this age is crazy and very stupid

  • Hi Punk4Life408, Thank you for your comment, I agree and disagree with you as I made clear this is an exhibition fight, not a real fight. My kids train at least 3 nights a week not because their parents or I make them they do it because they love it. I teach kids how to kick, punch, breakfall, throw and grapple and most of all respect for others. The kids in this clip have been training with me for aver 4 years, they are good friends and know each other well, they are naturally tough kids.

  • How does an exhibition fight differ?

  • Thank you for your question, I am the instructor of these two kids and I was also the referee, so I was basiccally telling them what to do in the cage. The other thing is that they were not in competition and all the techniques were completely controlled by both kids.

  • i agree and diasgree they are VERY young to be fighting but also they should be able to fight its a sport they could grow up to be amazing someday

  • Thank you Punk4life408.

  • i wonder if they have a place in arizona

  • unfortunatly not. we are in australia

  • huh ? I dont get your comment

  • kid in the black was good at the beggining till he took himself down lol

  • Very technically sound kids. Obviously, they have good coaching and work very hard. I'd like to see headgear when kids are punching, though.

  • I totally agree with your headgear comment, the kids have great contol and do not usually contact to the head at all.

When they get older and start contacting to the head then it is compulsory for headgear to be worn. Thank you for you comments.

  • how do u sighn up.

  • Where is your institute located?

  • My gym is Penrith Australia

  • where do you hold tournaments and is there no headgear shin pads etc for kids at your events?I'd like to enter my 11 y.o. in your next one,let me know when and where thanks..these kids look good though

  • Hi Roamnet,

We do not compete in MMA, this was a last minute exhibition the kids never even practiced for it. I teach my kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and HapKiDo and yes they are pretty tough. The kids I teach are all good friends but very competitive I had to keep telling them to take it easy in the cage.

  • aww... their so cute, with them punching each other so softly... kinda bored, but ah well, i mean they should punch each other a little harder, even though their kids

  • are there any places like this in Texas?

  • Unfortunately I do not know, if you find a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school they may offer MMA as an extra form.

  • sweet thanx

  • where can a 13 year old get in to MMA training and fights like this, somewhere near San Bernardino, California?

  • I do not know who teaches kids in california but some of the top MMA fighters and coaches in the world live and teach in LA, maybe make contact with some of these guys and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

  • Very good kicks

  • Man these kids are good...I wish I could fight like that, your a good teacher for sure.

  • Are you allowed to punch in this sport?

  • Very impressive! Kids like this are the future of MMA. MMA has evolved so fast. Give them another 10 years of training like this and they would have most likely beaten those early UFC fighters easily!

  • Very nice. Excellent skills for being so young.

  • Thank you for you comments as you can imagine I am very proud of them as an instructor. The other thing is that these kids are really nice kids and great friends.

  • mate gd to c dat young fellows out there competin in mma, these kids are the future for mma's growth

  • This is surely many a boy's dream - being able to funfight freely, but not deliberately hurting one another, and learning how to be a better fighter at the same time. What a brilliant activity and opportunity this is for kids - even if they do not go on to become cage or MMA fighters, they will benefit so much from giving demonstrations like this.

  • where is this? what school do they train at?

  • The kids train at Ultimate Fighting Arts in Penrith NSW Australia. The kids trian in both HapKiDo & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This was an exhibition where I (the ref & instructor) spoke to them as they did their stuff. Check out the girls under kids mma, they are my students as well :)

  • I saw them. Very impressive. Great job training them. My kids train mma as well. Their focus is muay thai and bjj with some wrestling. I don't know if I'll ever see them compete in a cage though.

  • Thank you, you positive feedback is appreciated :)

  • I'm not an expert in MMA but those kids look like excellent fighters. They are fighting very aggressively. You must teach them very well.

  • I love teaching martial arts and I teach the kids fairly hard, all the kids train, wrestle and spar hard but they never want to intentionally try to hurt each other. All the kids in my centre are good friends and really are very close to each other, I am very proud of how they all bond with each other and then put on a display like this one.

  • Very impressive.

  • Thank you for your kind comment, it is really appreciated.

Check out the girls under kids mma, they are my students as well :)
