Heath will go down in history for his roll as Joker. I have yet to show this movie to a single person who isn't completely freaking creeped out by the Joker. As in the guy is a pure psychopath, but is a functioning one. I liken his acting to Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter. In both cases because of their acting skills. There wouldn't be enough money in the world to make me step inside the room with either character.

Heathe's Joker smiles. When He is in depth conversation he tends to smile near the end. Like when he says to Rachel, "Thats while I'm always smiling" he has a huge grin on his face. Jacks had a permanent smile. Its hard to compare but I think Heath has it won.

well...jack nicholson warned him about the usage of the sleeping pills that ledger was using, but obviously ledger didnt really buy it. there has obviously been some controversy as to whether ledger committed suicide or just mistakenly overdosed, but he was using several drugs to alleviate his sleeping disorder, and a couple of those drugs were of pretty much the same chemicals and ingredients...

ultimately, it is irresponsible for anyone to judge someone's actions based on pretty much nothing
