  • 183 persons must be angry... because i think it is good music :P

  • Me ha encantado! Es una hermosura, un gran regalo para el espíritu. Muchas gracias.

  • Чудесно! Сколько экспрессии и очарования) Виват!

  • Molto emozionante!

  • Not singing the high note at the end is so, so weak...

  • @scbro78 It was never actually written into it in the first place....

  • OMG PRETTY WOMAN! anyone?

  • the best version of all time

  • I know it's not in the original staging or in the Verdi score, but I just LOVE the way she's begging Alfredo to let her carry on with her lifestyle, when she sings Sempre Libera for the second time around (after Follie! , when Villazon appears onstage). It definitely shows the conflict she's going through, and how she's trying to resist him; the words of her song become a routine she's trying to stick to, despite not being able to resist Alfredo's true love.

  • Netrebko always amazes me every time time she sings. This by far, is one of the best. The facial expressions and emotions and the way she delivers, gives me goosebumps especially when you listen to a powerful audio, you can feel it.

  • great staging, but anna n. is so boring...

  • You would be like this too if you knew you were going to die from, "consumption".

  • She does have a beautiful voice. It's endearing and pulls you in.

  • Absolutely brilliant artist. Just fantastic all the way around!!

  • Ah, Netrebko and Villazon are one of the epic couples of opera. Like Callas and Di Stefano, Freni and Pavarotti, Gheorgiu and Alagna... Epic.

  • sempre beautiful

  • Sooo minimalist

  • che scenografia !

  • Not trying to be rude but you can buy that dress at Target hahahahaha..... the same clock at family Dollar, get an white all in your home, play Maria Callas and Alfredo Kraus and booonnnn I am sure you will have better performance.... hahahahha I couldn't help myself hahahahaah. And you can use your nerd friend that makes strange faces to play the other part.... by the way... girl are you try to do the spiderman trying to walk on the walls. Just curious

  • @RonaldBarone Tssssk hater.

  • the first cadenza here (gioirs...) does not exactly correspond to Verdi - it is not necessary to be a musician or read original score to recognise it. But seems to me that it sounds great and adds even more dramatism to aria in combination with Netrebkos full-voiced singing

  • She's so beautiful.

  • I like this a lot, like most of her performances. Appreciation of music is a matter of individual taste, though millions seem to share in enjoying her performances.

There is nothing sacred about either the texts or musical scores of operas

any more than any other theatre or musical productions. Directors and conductors

and singers can vary them for any number of reasons, including health of singers.

Go to ones you like, ignore the rest. Negative comments help no one, just generate bad feelings.

  • what a sparkling voice, I love it

  • guys! its not about how good your voice is during a performance, its about how well you can sing it. :)

  • Impresionante, espectacular... faltan adjetivos....

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Scenografo e registra da mettere in GALERA!!!!

  • @lantis323f perche e una geniatata in fondo voletta era una Donna di facili costumi come si dice oggi era una escort

  • poverella, she should retire!!

  • è arrivata stremata alla fine. un capolavoro di gigionerie. poor Anna!

  • my favourite violetta!

  • Viva La Bellissima!

  • what is this? are you kidding? have ever heard Anna Moffo singing this aria?

    SHE was a STAR!!!

  • This is absolutely gorgeous (then again, hard to go wrong with Verdi...) and Netrebko's acting here is simply fantastic- she REALLY conveys the essence of who Violetta is and her conflict here... just wonderful.

  • Extraordinarias voces, maravillosa interpretación, que bendito manejo de tan bello instrumento de ambos.

  • 172 professional deslikers

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this modern rendition of a classic opera!

  • Villazon and Netrobko sing together so often I wonder if they are not romantically linked as well

  • this one great minimalist design. the curvature might be a audio enhancer.

  • shes gorgeous AND the most beautiful opera singer ive ever seen

  • puro grito ala verga

  • Non conoscevo affatto questo soprano:grande voce

  • She is a gift from God to the whole world. I have had my tears every single time to listen her songs.

  • I want that dress. and the chance to perform this. definitely my dream role!

  • Her vowels are just terrible. She's no Beverly Sills....and never will be. Good try Anna.

  • Si todas las sopranos fueran así, TODOS veríamos más opera!

  • GUAU, SENCILLAMENTE... MARAVILLOSO!!!!

  • <3 <3 <3 Anna

  • Gosh!

    There is one Diva!!!

    *_____*

  • I have to say Ms. Netrebko has IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY since this performance. I heard her sing Norina in Don Pasquale this season at the MET and it was just exquisite. I have always loved her timbre but had issues with her lack of agility in the coloratura sections, phrasing (at times odd), and inconsistent (sometimes non-existent) trill.

HOWEVER...she seems to have really worked on her technique and the voice is now bigger, much more agile, and wonderfully connected.

  • Netrebko's Anna Bolena at the Met this year was beyond stunning. I had the wonderful privilege of watching her in person on the Grand Opening night with excellent side-parterre box seats right up on the stage. I don't know if the baby-weight gain is to credit lol but the full-bodied roundness, emotion, and increased versatility of her voice enthralled the audience so that we were picking our jaws up off of the floor by the time that she was done with us. My mascara was sadly not waterproof :\.

  • Изумительно!!! What power, beauty! Gorgeous!!!! BRAVO!!!!!!

  • I haven't heard an operatic performance of this caliber since the great Susan Alexander Kane performed the title role in "Salammbo".

  • WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTION IS THIS???DIRECTOR THINKS HE IS ORIGINAL!

SHAME TO STAGE SUCH WONDERFUL OPERA SO STUPID WAY.....

  • Obviously Verdi was not as exact in his stage direction as say, a Wagner would be. However, in some cases, the composer had an idea of what they wanted the production to look like, and I think that altering that idea is as risky as altering the notes! If the director had arbitrarily decided that the notes that Verdi had written were insufficient for his "imagination" and changed the score, even you who are saying that it is a matter of preference would go ape-shit.

  • It is a proof that it is hard... > YT..

Proms - Anna Netrebko - Meine Lippen sie Kussen so heiss

  • I love this version of the Traviata, and i think this scene is excellently-performed.

It could make anyone start to enjoy opera

'ello from ze France - John Clark

  • This is one of my favourite arias sung by Anna Netrebko. Yes, she may not have the agility of Joan Sutherland, but so what? Her tone is beautiful and her upper register has such an exciting quality!

  • @evildell I agree completely! I don´t know anythhing about Joan Sutherland´s soul after listening her singing but the story Netrebko tells by her singing is simply amazing.

  • buenisiiima anna nada que desir eres unica e irremplasablee..

  • Children! Children, now stop all the noise and go back to your places, at once! This is theatre, not religion. It is a SHOW, an entertainment. Miss Netrebko is an artiste, as was Miss Sutherland etc, so not very important people (compared say to International Aid workers). Like all artists, She and the director work out a way of 'doing' a text ( a score IS a text). Somepeople will hate their take on it, others will adore it. It's a Show, not a faith. Got that? Good, carry on.

  • @EdMoss100 Do "austere, chilly, frigid and icy" still mean the same things? This production had a few good points: they actually SHOW Violetta and Alfredo happy together, instead of just telling it and show how Violetta's friends didn't care about her. Yet I was irritated as hell by the needless and distracting presence of the Dr. Grenville, spartan set design and monotonous costumes worn by the chorus so I couldn't tell who was male or female. I kept thinking "Was the budget limited or what?"

  • @QueenBoadicea There is a posibility that, some people's imagination is limited...

Director has a message, very clear... supports it with austere design, different that anything before... As a result we have another brave interpretation.. showing timeless drama.. without frills.. and it is a beauty of art... constant searching... developing.. confessing... or be provocative... etc.

  • @antenku You have your opinion; I have mine. You thought this a "brave interpretation". I consider this to be a cheap, lifeless production, almost utterly devoid of warmth, life or passion. De gustibus non desputandum est.

  • @QueenBoadicea Exactly.. I totally agree with this latin sentence..

What is most important that we both love opera so much, that sometimes, we are even able to have innocent argument.. haha.. And it is good for opera...

Maybe I am a bit biased... well.. it is hard not to be in love with Anna Netrebko...

  • @EdMoss100 LOL, to some Opera is just as sacred as faith and the Opera House is their temple. Best to just ignore their squabbles XD

  • @EdMoss100 Well you're rather pretentious, aren't you?

  • @EdMoss100 LOL Love it! Very well said. you will like some, you will hate some, but at the end of the day...it is just a show. But can I just say, I find Sempre Libera to be such a disappointment when they either don't posses or choose not to sing the high E-flat...I'm just saying. It doesn't send me to a therapy session, but I need that E-flat lol. Bravo/a for your comment!

  • @EdMoss100 I beg your pardon, but artists are very important people. Art is the language of the universe; it is one of the only things that will always be a constant in this world forever. We artists to keep this world turning just as much as we need "international aid workers."

  • Children! Children, now stop all the noise and go back to your places, at once! This is theatre, not religion. It is a SHOW, an entertainment. Miss Netrebko is an artiste, as was Miss Sutherland etc, so not very important people (compared say to International Aid workers). Good, carry on.

  • @EdMoss100 *overdramatic hair toss, ridiculously over the top nostril flare* A levelheaded comment? WELL, I NEVER.

  • I'm gonna sing like this one day...many years from now. But mark my words!!!!

  • IT. DOESN'T. COUNT. WITHOUT. THE. E FLAT.

  • @RaWrZzZz well considering this is the best version of this aria ever, i think we'll let it slide

  • @texasfntc26 Never heard Beverly Sills sing this, or more so Joan Sutherland with Luciano Pavarotti from the recorded 1960? What about Maria Callas? Edita Gruberova? You obviously skipped over those videos, right? Right. Anna's coloratura has always been iffy. And I just heard her take some breaths IN THE MIDDLE of some of the coloratura passages. What? NO.That kinda goes along with the whole consumption thing, but no. Not ok.She's a very good Violetta, but not great. She's still UNDER the greats.

  • This is the best Traviata in decades. Bravo Anna!

  • i think she has a lot of talent, and this piece is done very well. if any of you are curious of her abilities check out her version of Je Veux Vivre (Gounod) from Romeo and Juliet, she even sings it better than diana damrau who has a pretty profound voice for this day and age i'd say.

  • I don't like at all.Awful technica

  • weiss jemand, wann das lief?

  • This part is such a delight.

  • Anna really rules here.

  • It is a new take on it, and it is genious.

In that regard, it is an exeption, rather than the rule.

  • This has so much humour in it, if you notice.

  • Ah...I forgot 1 thing

    VILLAZON RULES

  • @ksmithsoprano

[don't delude yourself, I'm not here because you are so important, I'm here because it's a so great pleasure listen to this performance many and many times...I'm just thinking about the gesture at 2:20...PURE GENIUS...of Verdi, of the singer, of the stage director...what a memorable moment of theater]

  • @ksmithsoprano

Did I call you an asshole? I didn't want to insult you, I'm sincere. I wanted only to be realist...bauhuahuhauhauhua

But don't worry: I'm an asshole too, in many fields of life, nothing bad! For example, I cannot cook...[but I'm good at tasting LOL!].

So let's make ourself a promise: I'll learn to cook better, and you will learn something about music OK???

    Peace and love ;-)

PS: I don't care about Noemie, I want GEPOPO

  • BTW...how is your Gepopo doing????

I love Le Grand Macabre and I cannot wait to see you dressed like Lady Gaga shouting a 10 second long high D flat on the stage of Florida University.

Barbara Hanningan is not enough hysterical, we need you...ROFL!

PS: coming here to argue about Anna is like going shooting in a Delta Force camp during training. What did you expect from this experience? ;-)

  • @ad80ad I am currently learning the role of Noemie in Massenet's Cendrillon. Performances are March 4th and 5th at FIU if you are so inclined.

  • @ksmithsoprano – OMG, so you still think that Anna sings wrong notes? You are so stubborn and rude, as you are dumb! YOU WILL NEVER BE even ONE millionth of Anna’s talent, understand? So, instead of making fun of yourself, (oh, Lord, I cannot forget your Violetta! ), please – take my advise - do not attempt to write any more nonsense on Anna’s pages. I will be watching.

  • @09avenger Good Heavens! I sang half of the violetta solos in the Brindisi as the closing of an opera gala and you think that's such an offense? I'm not concerned for your opinion of me in the least. What gives you the experience and position to judge me?

  • @ksmithsoprano

I don't think Anna cares very much about what happens on YT, in particular regarding an arrogant schoolgirl coming here saying TO ME what is or what isn't an accurate singer. A part from that it wasn't my intention to "rudely and vulgarly" attack you: only to teach you good manners. Just behave like when you sing and that's fine OK??? LOL!

  • @ad80ad You called me an asshole, and I do believe that counts as vulgarity. And if Netrebko doesn't care at all about Youtube, to which I agree, why do you bother to defend her in the first place? I'm not one of the people casting aspersions on her personal character; I merely said that she sings inaccurate coloratura and i would choose to see another performer in such a role.

  • @ad80ad I'm sure Anna Netrebko is so thrilled that her adoring fans would defend her by so rudely and vulgarly attacking a young singer when you really can't counter the veracity of my criticism. Your statement that I am so well mannered that I am unnoticeable makes no sense. As you two white knights of the internet think I'm a terrible singer and therefore in no position to critique Netrebko, what makes you able to critique me?

  • watch?v=f-p1utKFxCg

This is the primadonna role that I suggest to ksmithsoprano for her debut in Florida as opera singer for students.

May be that will help her to wake up and to become more noticeable as a woman. LOL!

  • Waitwaitwaitwaitwait...I see another "candy" from ksmith...in the "Follie" (not "folie") cadenza, Netrebko would "leave" C-and D flat (lol!), before the "final ascending scale". Are we talking about music, or about cooking? Just for make things clear: THERE IS NOT D FLAT here. We are in the secondary dominant tonality of A flat and there is a D NATURAL that of course remains for the whole bar. Netrebko simply POSTPONES the breath, and breathes before the ascending scale and not before the F.

  • @ad80ad @ad80ad Thank you for helping ksmithsoprano to understand where she stands.

That may also teach a lesson to all these young arrogant and ambitions sopranos who have no clue but are full of desire to criticize the greatest in the hopes to save same place for their pitiful art! LOL! ksmithsoprano writes "And just because I have not yet achieved Netrebko's success .. at 23”. I wish her luck in that. But Anna at 23 was already a star and by all means she is a much bigger person!

  • OMG...I just realized that ksmithsoprano uploaded her performances, look at her channel. I've to congratulate with you ksmith, for your courage LOL! You are a real hope that good university schoolboys and girls in Florida will save "great music" from barbarians. You are so well mannered while singing, that one doesn't notice you at all LOL! At least, you don't disturb the public: this is something! Congratulations! So be a good girl and don't disturb even here ok???

  • PS: of course even supposing that Anna one day will decide to sing Traviata from the last note to the first, things doesn't change. She'll remain the ONLY way for Opera, she'll remain better than any "spaghetti-superstar", ksmithsoprano will remain a total asshole (LOL!), aficionados will become extinct like the obsolete species they are, and if they will not want to die away, we'll help them with real pleasure. LOL!

  • Regarding differentiation between E-Flat and D-Naturals at the end of the cadenza, I prefer a singer to be a little sharp like Anna than Callas who there sings E-flat-D-FLAT and is UNLISTENABLE. As a matter of fact, many post-war "superstars" use so much vibrato that you are lucky only if you can understand the tonality of the piece: they are specialized in making everything "polytonal". I don't talk about the mode (major-minor) which is practically an optional. LOL! With Anna all is clear.

  • BUAHUAHUAHUAHUAHUHAUAHUHAUAHUAHUHAUHAUHAUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

OMG...I die...LOL! What a FUN! Who is this ksmithsoprano??? Does Anna "muddle" over the second A-flats of the Gioir? ASSHOLE !!!...She simply tends to "escape" the A-Flat, exactly like Callas here watch?v=I4cSVnqGmOc&feature=related and many others. In fact this A flat is a really an "escape tone", structural tones are Bflat-G-F-Eflat (I hope do you know what I mean), so don't worry ;-)

  • Her coloratura is full of wrong notes, like many of her other performances. If I'm going to pay to see a performance, it will be one with accurate singers.

  • @ksmithsoprano - and where exactly are these wrong notes? Please tell us more ..

We are dying to hear that. LOL!

  • @09avenger From the very start, she muddles over the second A-flats of the "Gioirs" and then after the descending scale from the D-flat, she doesn't differentiate well between the E-flats and D-naturals- she's pretty much singing only E-flat/F/E-flat/F. (Same sloppiness second time through) in the "Folie" cadenza, she leaves out the D-flat and C before the final ascending scale. Final chirrups coming from the high C are also not clean. Netrebko is not an accurate singer.

  • @ksmithsoprano You are completely delusional my dear. I listened to your own performance on your channel. You have 1/10000 of Anna’s talent. It is very sad when the beginning singer with very questionable potential is criticizing the greatest soprano just to indulge herself The satisfaction that can be derived form these statements will not lead to improvement of your own performances. Try to refrain from nasty and erroneous remarks but rather concentrate on improvement of your own presentation.

  • @09avenger Pardon me, but anyone with decent Ear Training and the score can see Netrebko's mistakes, especially when comparing her to a recording of Callas. I did not, you'll notice, say that Netrebko has a terrible voice. She has a fine voice, though I don't prefer it, and I especially don't like that she sings incorrect notes.

  • @ksmithsoprano - I am not a singer. You said Netrebko has a “fine” voice?! LOL! Never before I heard a voice like Anna's - huge, lustrous, velvety, with extraordinary fabulous, golden tone! Anna’s voice can be compared to the unique sound of Stradivarius violin! It is a shame that you with your musical training cannot appreciate her magnificent art. She is singing in the best opera houses (do you suppose that conductors in these opera houses are lacking “decent Ear Training”?)

  • @09avenger Leave the self righteous comments and less than motivational words for those that don't care for our art. We're all in this together, supporting and adoring an art that is ailing in many places. We all have our opinions and tastes, and I draw the line when it involves telling young, formative singers that they should stop singing. If we told every singer that didn't sound like Anna Netrebko at 23 to stop singing, we'd soon find ourselves without singers. Encourage, don't be a dick.

  • @09avenger Netrebko sells, thats why she sings. The San Francisco audience did not like her, and loved Dessay. But Dessay doesn't sell that well, cause she is not good looking, theatres need to sell tickets. Its life :-((((

  • @trumansf There's nothing surprising ..Can N.Dassay impress somebody with her childish soprano and with her dull acting nowadays? BTW that 's your impudent lie about San Francisco audience. She started like a huge new operatic star in Frisco and there she still remains.

  • @spqrmor It's Dessay, LMAO. What did she start in San Francisco? She debuted here two years ago, when she was a world star already. She is French, she haven't started anything here lol. What are you talking about?

I loved her acting, its a matter of taste. Her voice is big and she has great technique, these are obvious facts. Do you know what belcanto is? Do you know what a coloratura soprano is? Have you heard her live?

  • @trumansf If you can't read attentively it's your problem.I should have separeted one section of text from another for especially gifted person like you.LMAO!

  • @trumansf How about that - Netrebko sells because she is the best soprano with fantastic voice and amazing acting skills. Dessay sucks in every respect and that is why nobody wants he CD's or her performances. You see , it is that easy. You upside down logic is laughable.

  • @09avenger Question 1. Have you heard both live?

Question 2. Do you know what belcanto is?

Question 3. Do you know what coloraturas are?

These are main questions, I could ask more. If you do we can continue, if you dont, then its just a matter of taste and you might just as well defend Susan Boyle and Sarah Brightman to me, it wont make any difference.

I stand by the opinion based on what I heard.

  • Comment removed

  • @trumansf - Yes, I had to leave Sonnambula with Dessay (as well as many other listeners); because she was whispering from the beginning until the last aria in order to save her tiny voice. One of my friends called Dessay "a painless mediocrecity". But she is painless until you hear her live of course, because her high notes kill you and her acting makes you vomit, Watch her Sempre Libera, or Lucia! LOL!

  • @09avenger I guess it wasn't her night. In the performance I saw she was heaven, standing ovation with floor taping from a pretty snobbish and cold SF audience.

  • @trumansf - I heard Anna live in concerts, Lucia, Tales of Hoffman, Don Pasquale, & Romeo and Juliet. Let me ask you - do YOU know what belcanto is? If you do, then you should understand that I Capuleti e i Montecchi is a belcanto masterpiece by a great soprano Anna Netrebko. If not – then YOU do not know what belcanto is. It has been always the same in history, not everyone is capable of recognizing the contemporary greatest; those are scared and prefer to hide in the shadow of mediocrecity.

  • @09avenger I know and love bel canto. And it would be better if she just stopped singing it and left it to people with real technique. Ileana Cotrubas rocked bel canto. Sills rocked bel canto. This chick can't stay on her breath through even one complete phrase. And she can't act. She's just skinny and marketable. Dessay is even worse. This is why all our great women are going to Europe- they can't have careers here because of all the terrible singers that are being promoted instead. Lame.

  • @09avenger Belcanto means beautiful singing, literally. Now there is a great video on youtube where Sutherland, Pavarotti and Horne talk about it. As far as I am concerned Netrebko is an example of a russian school of singing. Like Vishnevskaya and Obraztsova.

  • @09avenger They all lack coloraturas, and they sing different from italians. But unlike those russian greats Netrebko doesnt have enough voice to take the audience with power and color instead of belcanto and coloraturas. Again like many great russian singers did in the past.

  • @trumansf - Netrebko doesnt have enough voice to take the audience with power and color ???

Are you mad? You know what, I am bored with you and frankly, who cares what you say. Netrebko is one of the greatest. If you have no ear to hear it, so be it. Poor you.

  • @09avenger Yes, she doesn't. At least last year she didn't. And a lot of serious musical critics will back me up. She is a product of promotion. Her singing is boring, although she does have a beautiful timbre. Its my opinion and I have a right to have one. Don't pity me! I am not a blind fanatic who talks shit about people who happen to have a different opinion. Pity yourself for being rude.

  • @trumansf Pavarotti was largely a product of promotion!!!! Does that mean he didn't have a remarkable voice??? NO! Of course you are entitled to have an opinion but to be honest, you are opinion is illegitimate. sorry.

  • @trumansf I would be thankful if you would explain what these are. I have looked them up in wikipedia and can't get it.

    Thanks

  • @markandmalekah The best way to learn what those are since you are not a musician like me is by listening and looking for them. Listening to the same aria sung by many different singers, you will compare and recognize them. And also look up on tube How to sing belcanto with Horne, Pavarotti, Sutherland there are 2 or 3 parts. And just keep comparing. Sempre libera is perfect for that. And always know what they are singing about. Its part of belcanto. Listen to Callas sing and interviews.

  • @09avenger Netrebko lacks a lot of qualities of a star quality opera singer. As well as a lot contemporary sopranos. Dessay has an incredible technique. You might not like her timbre, that/s a question of taste. But also bares mentioning that Netrebko sells better because she does a lot of other things on stage besides opera. Including Russia where she is from. Argue your position! Give a reason why you think she is so good! Preferably with examples based on comparing her to others.

  • @ksmithsoprano, - how dare you, who do not measure up to Anna's boots, post stupid, ignorant comments? Just because you are jealous? You think that this will help you advance? Of course you do not prefer Anna Netrebko' s voice, if you'd prefer it, you would quit singing!

  • @09avenger In order for one to be a better singer, one must not only be able to critique oneself, but be able to critique the singers who are getting paid. Despite what you may think about Netrebko, absolutely no singer is 100% perfect because we are all human.

She is hired because her voice is aesthetically pleasing, she looks the parts, and she is popular with audiences. I am not jealous- what exactly would be the point?

  • @09avenger And just because I have not yet achieved Netrebko's success, or Damrau's impeccable accuracy and emotional connection to the music, is no reason for me to give up music at 23. What foolish expectations for myself! My voice won't be settled in range for probably another two years given the voice is a biological instrument and opera singers usually aren't in their primes until their 30's and 40's.

  • Why I always here Callas in her interpretation?? she probably listens too much to Callas recordings

  • She just looks and acts like a slapper from Wakefield on a Saturday night....pissed, Mad, screeching bollocks, and a bit consumptive to boot!

  • @ilovecockx3 yes

  • @ilovecockx3 You have a point there, this was not one of her best performances :os Although I think it must be an off day or something, because she has recorded the Traviata a lot better in the past... I don't know if you saw it already, but check this out: watch?v=prWcQykIPtk&feature=related. In this one she sounds very good (in my opinion, of course) and the cadenza is correct :oP

  • She is radiant.

  • Loved her singing. Yes, the scenery could have been way better than this, but her rendition of this song was un-be-lie-va-ble, so full of emotion!

My only real complain is that she missed/didn't do the E6 :S

  • An absolutely amazing rendition of my favourite aria!!

I think Anna conveys the feeling of this piece just perfectly. It may not be 100% technically perfect but, I've never heard/seen a soprano capture the emotions and mood of the aria so well.

    And she is stunning too.

I find it hard to believe how anyone can find this performance unenjoyable!! There are some seriously weird people out there.

    Peace

  • That's some intense camerawork. That can't be seen on old opera.

  • The set is so cool. And her voice is insanely powerful.
