  • Your Elegie was very beautiful, but try to relax your body and especially your left hand. If you relax, your vibrato will be wider and even more beautiful.

  • Why did you cut out some of the best moments of this piece?! Like when the pianist has her interlude? That's one of the finest moments of the piece.

  • Fair question! This digital camera has max 3 minute record, so I was forced to do multiple splices.

  • @awnke I only just came across this video, so I may be speculating just as much as you. This might be a cut for a college audition where he only has 15 minutes to get in, perform, and get out, and most of the time, they want you to perform TWO contrasting selections. Plus, when it's a college audition for a cellist, the audition is about the cellist, not about the accompanist's interlude. It's unfortunate, but also the reality.

  • it was really good

but i would work on intonation

and maybe play with a little more passion

  • good job keeping the tempo. work on intonation and SAVE YOUR BOW!

  • Lovely sound !

On another matter altogether.. Why is it so *difficult* for people to write ONE coherent line ?

mjwynne01 writes "...notes were too sharp but I've get you props.. :

What THE HELL does that MEAN ?

  • Work on Intonation some of your notes were too sharp but I've get you props because its a difficult piece.

  • Not.. BAD. :)
