@Rumour49 Thanks for sample information; still a BASS player ,i don't appreciate being corrected on a youtube comment thanks!!find something to do with your time rather than being an internet spell checker!
@callmemaurrrice Warren G- Regulate has a similar beat, if you listen to it you will be able to tell what I mean. It is a pretty old song though, from the 1990s, but it is still played on the radio a lot (especially if you live in Los Angeles because Warren G was a westcoast rapper)
I used to have this song on a craptastic tape I recorded off the radio, but they never announced the artist...and I'm from a small rural town in Ontario. Today I finally found out who did it...damn!! I remember EVERY word!
@ElectricDoodie - No way man. Prince Paul is so much better a producer, and this has a completely different feel to it, and to compare the 2 overall, this one is a masterpiece both production-wise and lyrically, while Warren G is as passe as they get.

The drums from Walk This Way the scratch from Beats To The Rhyme the guitar riff from Could You Be Loved and the bassline of Just a Touch of Love by Slave. And don't forget the "Champ" yelp from the Mohawks. Prince Paul did a masterful job on the sampling, almost as good as Saturdays.
I played this track until the tape broke in my cassette. I would try to loop the beginning by hitting rev and play at the same time. Ah, memories...thanks for posting!

@NoRCaL2OhNyNe It's not an electro house song. It is a disco funk song from the late 70's called "Just a Touch Of Love" by Slave.
