You're invited to a HILARIOUS free master class on the life and music of LIBERACE! Includes analyzations of classic performances and a house tour:) U will LOVE this, type in "Dave Frank" Liberace in YT
I think Liberace was the greatest pianist in the world. I used to watch his TV show when I was younger. His version of As Time Goes By is my very favorite song.
I recently discovered another pianist who is truly great. His name is AllenDale1962. I recommend his videos highly.
The orchestra is too loud and drowns out the piano. Too bad, because it interfers with hearing the notes of the piano solo clearly. Oh well, better than nothing though.
Wow - that was some hairstyle! This is another video that shows he was one of the best pianists of any type of music, EVER! I only wish that sometimes an orchestra didn't drown him out so much. Not in this piece though - that left hand just takes my breath away. RIP sir!
I've never seen a piano player play so fast before or since. Absolutely amazing.

Say what you like about the OTT camp and kitsch, and the man himself - but he was one hell of a piano player.

I love how he finished it off with those few notes from the Three Stooges. Not sure if it was some other piece before or not tho

This is like a rich cake, it really doesn't need any orchestral "frosting"!
