  • cool but nexst tyme use a little bit of gasoline that would make it quicker lol

  • Ghetto hot air...

  • Idiot..

  • Remove dead parts with a lighter?

You destroy the pcb crazy pyromaniac!

  • A heatgun costs about 20 - 30$.... Why to get the board through this???

I'm really on the DIY stage but.... Darn... Having some basic tools is a must!!!

It's like trying to solder with heated knife... possible... but well... not plausible...

  • I guess there is always the wrong way of doing the right thing! :D

  • wow you are a genius this is a step backwards in evolution that only you managed to do!!!! novel !!! rolf.

  • wow, this is stupid

  • fail

  • though i did it from the opposite side of the board, like so the pins got most heat...

  • Not for me. Looks barbaric.

  • campfire is way better

  • RECKLESS WORK

  • USE THE HEAT GUN LOL

  • Maybe put it for 30 sec on the microwave oven? Butcher.

  • pcb has damage! :(

  • :D That is NOT a good idea. Messy as hell.

  • puta merda ja ouvirão falar em salva chips

  • Cut IC from legs, remove IC, desolder legs and that' s it. What an id.ot burns whole board desoldering part??

    Miserable...

  • You sir, are an idiot.

  • scorched earth policy...nice and just as effective everything destroyed

  • IDIOT, GO FISHING

  • Mekkora pöcs :'(

  • tomorrow i will try this with acetylene heater :P

  • This is called "sciece" ? Wow, I never seen such an amature and crazy method..

You can replace these IC very easy with a simple soldering iron, just flod the leads with solder then remove with tweezers. Clean pools of solder with solder braid.

Or just go buy a rework station, you can pick one up for about $50.

    Really crazy.

  • people, read the man's commentary. It's for damaged parts which need replacement.

  • rofl

  • Burned board. Go to sleep.

  • Horrible.

  • The best home way is one... (only if ics exit from one side of the board...) Get the board, on the plate of a clothing iron... you get the rest.... (tested) but you may need to solder some low temp solder on the IC before...

  • Misiricordia........

  • You burned the board.

    Idiot.

  • @AzureFlameElk

    ha ha)))

  • wow.....thats like sticking your d*ck in a beehive...you don't know what you're going to get.

  • wow good going u lazy ass fuck

u ruind the chip and pcb

  • you joking ..right??

  • solder paste?? you mean desoldering bead?

ahahaha this is priceless. a head gun would be a better idea tho maybe even a hair drier?

  • pls dont do that at home...

  • This is sure cheaper than having a pcb with black solder mask finish. I will try that immediately!

  • guys the ic is dead, its the circuit board or the ic, you can only save one

  • THIS was best tip I've seen, it help me with my project

  • The name of your website sounds very nice...

But this video put on one side your website.

Bad idea my friend, don't share thes idea :-)

  • Why don't you smash the IC instead

  • Is this process safe?

I mean the IC will damage, and burn may be.

  • ... This is a BAD idea. Don't try it unless you are stupid and want to make dead ICs even more dead.

  • AND you only have a slightly chared PCB afterwords!

  • Bieeeen ! excelente metodo para destruir un pcb... no probaste con un lanzallamas y un poco de tnt a ver si sale? ......................

  • I prefer not to use the needle. Simply tap the PCB on the edge of the table, the broiled IC and the excess solder will come off. That would leave you a cleaner PCB.

  • ^lmaooo

  • There are more efficient ways to destroy a PCB. Just put the damn thing into a microwave and pour some molten butter over it. After that tape the door of your fridge to your head and jump a backflip from the balcony. Then throw the board to a wall and pour the rest of the butter on ur cock

  • lmfaoooooooooo!

  • LOL!!!!!!111!!!

  • ROFL!

  • Ha ha ha ha Lmfao!!!!

  • @xFLDx Best Comment Ever.. :P

  • Now I wanna see you put it back on that way.

  • Agagagaagagaghahshas jahas jh asdjhsa djh asdjh asjsad

  • and the atmega didnt get damaged?

  • It was damaged before. Don't do this with good parts unless you want to remove dead parts.

  • @Scienceprog i've done it with an smd ULN2803a darlington array, i didn't expect it to work after doing it, but it did :D

  • @Scienceprog I'm glad I read that first!

  • Good method!
