  • A question,to you Trannnygirl15?alot of transgenders dnt fake being trans, but the public can tell what is a real woman is or not?if your passable as a woman like me,its not hard fittting in.still alot of people cant fit it a being a woman even if thier on hormones and have a post operation, still look like a man!

Yes im a Transgender woman,22 mnths on hormones!

    Sincerilly Sarah

  • You look like a girl already :) my sister is becoming a boy and my friend is now a girl and i think you should go all the way i may be having transgender when i'm older

  • I would get a boob job ^^

  • Huge fan and supporter... when i am down i watch you... you always make me smile... even if just on the inside

  • im a young transgender and im looking for some info can anyone help me? info on like docorts and places i can call.

  • These damned psychologists, they think every setback or problem you had in your life caused you to be transsexual. No matter what you say, they'll think that's the cause of it, when in fact, most of these issues were caused by unattended transsexuality. Ridiculous.

  • well your a tranny and some people dont like that and some do i love trannys

but if anybody dont like tranny well dont make negative commentsif you cant make a good comment dont make a comment at all ok

  • Hormones and surgery will do it for me. kthxbye.

  • @jihadjared wow you bigotted fuck, how about you test out that theory yourself and hope you dont come back as a cow in a mcdonalds bigmac farm. ill give you my Beretta 92 if you wanna give it a shot.

  • It's hard to find a good therapist, of any type. I had one for apparent depression and all he wanted to do was get me to ask my doctor for several anti-depressants (I assume he gets pay outs for getting people to use them). He also just wanted to talk about my parents and if I was beat as a child and stuff... even though my issues, as far as I was concerned, were current... but he was sure it was my parents... oh and it was like $350 a month, better things to spend that money on, like rent.

  • therapists are full of it. you can get 6 mo supply of female hormones on Amazon for a $100

  • ur a boy or were a boy wow... i never new transexauls could be veary pretty good for you :)

  • thank you for this video ^W^ it's helpful to listen to more stuff about this. i'm sure there are plenty trans hermits out there. i personally enjoy being a hermit sometime but this next year (first year in college, and living in the dorms) is sort of a test of who someone (or in this case, myself) really is when living on his/her own in the world.

i'm not making a ton of sense, but.. thank you! ^w^

  • You're Beautiful : )

  • you're so smart in weighing out facts, i love u

  • I'm not French. I'm Canadian.

  • In that case, I LIKE you because you're Canadian. :)

  • @bubblegunbackup that is racist and very rude

  • This opinion has been stated before but by the definition that the only TS's are the people who have SRS, then transsexuality is only a matter of technology and has only existed since the medical procedures came into being.

    This argument is obviously wrong.

  • I very much agree that introspection is the key (for far more then transexuality as well)

but introspection takes time, and I don't think alot of people feel they have the will or time to put in that effort--introspection can be dang hard!

  • The term "shemale" is considered impolite because it comes from the world of porn/prostitution, and that's where it's most used. The proper term is transsexual.

  • Alright, what ever you want to be go for it, who cares what people say. Do what you think is better for you. If you want to be non-op ts with penis or post-op t-girl with vagina.

You will still be you, PERIOD.

  • Hi! I know that it might not be a brightest question to ask you, but where are you originally from? I mean... your don't really sound American.

  • French Canadian here :P

  • I take it you're not a separatist.

  • I personally don't think that transsexual is something that can be defined, because I feel that you can't understand it unless you talk to a person who is transsexual or look up a lot on how these people feel to understand what it really is. Words alone cannot really define it.

  • Hi Maxim! (I hope I'm spelling that right!)

First off, I just wanted to say that I found your blog here about six months ago, and watched a couple of episodes, and found them very helpful! I initially identified myself as a crossdresser about two years ago, but have since started to realize that I may be closer to a transsexual. Like yourself, I do not yet know where I want to go with it, but as I cannot presently afford doctors or meds, I will be delaying starting any kind of (cont'd)

  • medication or other treatments. My plans for now are to build a wardrobe, then when I can afford it, see a therapist for a few months and see if I throw up any "red flags" or otherwise confirm that I don't want any procedures done. If all goes well, I will start hormones within 3 months of that, and then start considering FFS, followed by BA or vocal surgery. I want to know about the kind of results they have with that first though. Anyway, you're lovely, and an inspiration!

  • i think the people you described that attacked you personally on here are probably just expressing their own insecurities about their identity and their choices. congrats on the phd funding!

  • Thanks from Connecticut - We do not need a label to be who we are. The gender clinic in Galvaston and Orange County helped me realize that there were other mental health issues that needed to be addressed. Meeting face to face with other trans people is also helpful.

  • You were a bit long winded (that's NOT a criticism) BUT your points are WELL taken. I enjoy your perspective and the intelligence of your arguements. Thanks

  • Also. You have spoken about older trannsexuals before. Do you feel sorry for them? Haven't you ever seen a 50 something MtF who looks fantastic? I hope that there are 50ish MtF's that pass well and look great. I plan to start hormones, wait until people start commenting on my changes, go a little while more while making excuses; then take a month off work, get FFS and breasts, then come out to everyone. I think that working with HR and your boss prior to coming out, is a good idea. I hope,hope..

  • Some, most of them are not passable with just hormones. FFS usually does the trick, however.

  • You sound a little angry in this video. You spoke of different states of awareness of what a TS/TG actually is. A non trans person might have a hard time understanding us. This seems likely because many of us don't understand our own selves. Therapy can help. It kind of gives us a terminology for self description and as a way to explain to others what we believe we are. Plus, the more a therapist finds about us, the better they will be able to understand other TS/TG people; and help them better.

  • You are referring to what I perceive to be a very ugly and divisive caste system within the trans community.

Q: How many transwomen does it take to change a light bulb?

A: They never get around to changing it. They're still arguing about the definition of "light bulb."

  • I personally think that trans- communities are divisive in and of themselves. To have any sort of community divides people from other people - like a Hispanic community, an elderly community, an LGBT community, etc. If people were all just accepting of one another, we wouldn't need these communities. I am not for any such community, because we're all people in the community called Earth.

  • You talk about respect for non-op TS's such as yourself. You need to give more respect for the overall transgender community. You speak of being a cross dresser and a "trangenderist" it being "offensive" to be labeled with this title.

I find this extremely offensive because you look down on other members of the transgender community. The fact that your insulted by being called a cross dresser shows how little respect you have for cross dressers who are part of our transgender community.

  • A crossdresser is not what I am. That makes it offensive. Just how would you feel if I referred to you as a man, knowing full well that you are trans? Would you find it offensive? You would? Well, that's just disrespectful to all the men out there, there's nothing wrong with being a man you know!

  • yeah. i'm ftm, and i'm probably not going to have lower surgery. it's an individual choice. you tell them.

  • I liked your video, I dont know if you are aware but Transsexuality (G.I.D.) has been found to have a genetic basis, in the future people will simply have their DNA tested which will provide an accurate distinction between individuals that need treatment and those that view this as a lifestyle choice eliminating the confusion in the trans community. Stay strong, be who you are!

  • I think you're right; You are the one to make the decision for transition, not the therapist, however I think a therapist may help you discover and deal with things you haven't thought of yourself and provide for better integration.

From you're videos I'm perfectly sure you're able to make the decision, which is right for you. In other cases I have however spoken with too many people who believe SRS to be a silver bullet curing all of their problems and I fear they will make a sad discovery,

  • I feel the greatest issue that a transitioner face can come from within the Trans Community itself.I am Post Op.I had my SRS in Thailand and although I don't really get involved with the Community much, I still keep my ear to the ground and see what is going on.I do see a lot of post ops judging others, making snide remarks, and putting others down.Transition is private and personal and people should be allowed their own choices. There is no TS Bible.Peer group pressure has caused many problems.

  • Totally awesome and helpful comment Amygurl! Thanks for your insight :D

  • it's disappointing that there seems to be some 'perfect model of transition' that has been falsely created which condemns those who do not find the perfect therapist and have the perfect doctors to aide their transition. Nobody should have to defend their transition, because for most of us it comes with enough bumps in the road without receiving outside criticism from other people. This is an excellent definition and I totally appreciate the courage it takes to create these thoughtful videos

  • Tranny Girl i always thought your were considered transsexual if you did anything to physically alter your body from one gender to another so taking hormones etc electrolosis all count as you would be making changes i myself belive this to be true and you can go as far as you want to or all the way and still be considered a transsexual what do you think?

  • saying that pursuing srs is "going further" than some one who does not feel the need to is incorrect.

  • In my eyes, any member of the LGBT community, or T specifically who attack their kin are just racked with insecurity about who they are, seeking this security by making themselves somehow distinct from people around them, getting a medical 'justification' for who they are, etc...

I really don't have much pity for these people, and you shouldn't give their opinions your attention; they need to sort themselves out, not you. They attack people they don't know, you don't.

  • Great Topic! This video is getting favorited!!!!

  • This is why a lot of transsexuals feel the need to lie to their psychologists and doctors, because of the fear that they won't be taken seriously, or told they're not really transsexual, and that they won't be prescribed hormones.

The standards of care that are in place are really just guidelines. Thankfully there are many clinics and doctors out there who realize that the guidelines are not perfect, and don't follow them as closely. I didn't need a diagnosis before I was able to get hormones.

  • I would just like to say that I have been watching your videos for a while and I think that you are exrtemely well spoken, informative, and interesting. You pick great topics and I could listen to you for hours. U look great 2 by the way :)

  • I couldn't have said it better myself, at the end of the day only you truly know yourself, you do not need an official piece of paper to know who you are, I wish you the best of luck and happiness on your journey through life.

  • Why would anyone fake being TS in the first place? Not that I am saying you are wrong, but I don't think there are many cases of that

  • didnt u promise to make a makeup video??

  • Sorry but I think that FFS is just another scam dreamt up by the money grubbing medical 'profession'. Doctors will say and do anything to keep the TS community financially committed to them. I think that you look very feminine as you are. :)

  • I am with you. As I listened I was following your reasoning & logic about the various truths you talked about. You are in control of your own life and know your own feelings. We are what we are based on all our real life experiences and environments. The therapist didn't seem to be there for your benefit which she should be; after all you are paying for the time. I support you completely and wish for you success as you continue forward. ~plur~

  • What about Suporn and Spiegel? I don't disagree about Zukowski, but I wanted to know opinions.

  • Suporn is very good but also one of the most expensive now. I have seen good and bad results from Spiegel. There's always a risk of complications no matter who you go with though.

What surgeon you choose depends on what you need done. If you need a lot of bone work on the forehead/brow, go with one of the maxillofacial surgeons who can do the more invasive techniques.

Zukowski is a very talented surgeon... he actually has corrected a lot of bad results from some of the other surgeons.

  • I'm just trying to get horomones legally.

    It sucks.

  • Thanks for the post XD

  • why would you HAVE to get diagnosed to be considered a transsexual? It's not like anyone can tell me or anyone else for that matter that we aren't gay because we have never been diagnosed as so. I mean I've never heard a gay or lesbian person say they've been OFFICIALLY diagnosed.

  • I agree with a lot of what you said. And I'm sorry that you were attacked in your last video.

  • I understand what you are saying, it is very hard for me to transition in use because gov went to hold us back.

  • I think you have it all worked out in your head. I always get annoyed when I see intelligent people over explaining themselves, to the random masses that leave "their two cents" based on their own personal experience. I think you're point about introspection is correct, and from watching your videos over the last year or so, I've found your introspective model to be very strong. Don't accept judgment, just ignore it. Best of luck, now get outside and get some sun on that Canadian skin!

  • Very insightful and thoughtful

  • I guess there is no absolute answers here, it just depends on the individual, personally i don't think transsexuals are defined by that "part", it's a state of mind

  • I don't think borrowing money for FFS from your girlfriend is a good idea. It could easily become a point of friction in your relationship, and things could get very awkward if you ever do happen to break up. Just my two cents.

  • She and I both know that I will refund every penny of that, even if we were to break up. Furthermore, it won't be much money, I should be able to refund it fairly quickly.

  • Been following you for some time. You're a good speaker and you seem to have your ideas pretty much in order !! That is great. I consider myself a CD, and although TS thoughts have crossed my mind, it's not for me. The important thing is that you know what you're REALLY getting into, and pursue that, not some fantasy.

Some transitioned TSs may not accept they maybe made a mistake going 'all the way'. I have a TS aunt, and although she's happier now than as a man, it has not been perfect....

  • Hi, Sonia.I will admit, I have lost so much status, standing, and a Corporate Career, as well as friends and family due to finally giving way to my gender dysphoria.I am now Post-Op but despite losing so much, I face life happier, and way more empowered as a person now then I ever did. There is no act to play out and I can face life as the truer me.But I have met many that have made a big mistake in going the full journey, and the ones that pressurised them should feel ashamed of themselves.

  • i am defiantly a transsexual that never saw a gender therapist and never eve subscribed hormones 4 years later and I've never regretted it. Don't listen to those idiots and think they know what they are talking about.

  • It's YOUR journey & only YOU should be in control. Everyone else is there only to help (hopefully). There are rewards/consequences with EVERY path.

I believe GID manifests itself slightly differently in each person & GI is located in the brain, not the genitals.

Why get a diagnosis if you aren't having SRS? You shouldn't have to keep defending your transsexuality; it isn't anyone else's business. THEY need to be worrying about THEIR journey.

  • Transsexuality is all a matter of how feminine a person feels within herself...if they don't feel like a male...for years....and if they feel girly....and effeminate...then who are we to dictate to them how to feel? If you have an innate girly instinct to act "pink" and have an innate "girly instinct" then no amount of persuasion is going to change that instinct.

  • I completely agree.

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that every human has different degrees of femininity/masculinity that apply to all aspects of their being. For instance, an extremely masculine male may have few feminine traits (& may hide those few).

The same applies to trans women, in my opinion. Thus, one may be more girly than another. I become upset when we begin attacking one another over who is too girl & who is not girly enough. Conformity can't be a criteria for diversity.

  • bravo

  • I personaly agree with you on the no-op view. I mean that is pretty much the only one thing that can't be reveres back. I personaly will most likly eventually get the SRS but i think i will waite a good while untill i find out how i feel in my transistion and what comes with that.

  • Nice video like always.

  • Just remember, you get what you pay for.

  • In this case, Dr. Zukowski seems to be the most skilled, and the price is not completely out of my reach.

  • I'm the first comment ! Ya!

  • Congratulations, you win 3 banana dollars!

  • lol
