  • You should really think about getting some neons, they would look awesome

  • @TheBBAxCLAN Its funny you say that. About a month ago I just finished doing a 65 gallon planted tank with about 40-50 Neon tetras in it. They are cool little fish to watch. Wanted some in this tank, but they would end up becoming feeder fish for the big guys :( I need to do an updated video of this tank, so much has changed. Thanks for the comment.

  • Really good i love black skirt tetras! I also like barbs! pleae check out my 20 gallon high fish tnak

  • I have a questions thats not really related to this video...But I am 13 and I have recently had a new fish tank placed in my room and i have filled it with water and have had a heater and a fluval 105 filter...and the water was looking pretty cloudy and dirty...But now it has gotten worse since i have put my three fish into it. I was just wandering what you do to your fish tank to make the water so c lean, research has not helped me :)

thank you ...oh and great fish tank! :)

  • @888tylerb1 Hello, what your going to want to research is the "Aquarium Nitrogen Cycle". Basically its how "good bacteria" need to establish themselves to break down the fish waste into less harmful things. In a new tank the bacteria is not yet present and takes time to grow. This can take as many as 2-8 weeks. A trick I've used in the past with great results is taking gravel/water from an already established tank and adding it to the new tank to give the bacteria a jumpstart. Good Luck.

  • @SunRedRX7 Ok thank you for the advice, I have researched the Aquarium Nitrogen Cyle and I was just wandering if when that cycle is complete, will the water then be clear?

  • @888tylerb1 It should clear up once the good bacteria setup and the cycle is working. If you have a local pet store near you, you should be able to take a water sample to them to have them test it and tell you how far along the cycle you are. Good petstores will do this test no charge and explain the results to you.

  • @SunRedRX7 Ok thank you and yes the pet store I go to is good in some ways....But when I got my fish i explained my situation you know that iv'e never had fish before and i had a ton of questions...but the guy who gave me my fish understood that i had never had fish before and just handed me the fish and that was that

and also in your opinion do you think my tank is over stocked, I have a parrot fish, 2 angel fish an algae eater and a black shark all in a 30 gallon tank?

  • @888tylerb1 The general rule of thumb is an inch of fish per gallon of water. Now during the initial cycling you want to keep this down, so you may lose some fish, don't replace them until you water clears up and your pet store gives you a good grade on your water quality.

  • @SunRedRX7 Ok Well since I have had these for fish for about a week and a half and they have been fine is that a good sign?

  • @888tylerb1 Yes thats a good sign. Just keep what up what your doing and hopefully it all works out.

  • @SunRedRX7 Ok thank you for all your help, I really apreciate it! :)

  • @888tylerb1 No problem, let me know how it goes.

  • nice tank, just picked up one that size today. For fake plants they look great!

  • Your aquarium is very beautiful. Compliments. You can see my aquarium in "Acquario pesci tropicali - VINCENZO IANNI". Ciao. Vincenzo.

  • thats nice fish tank you got, how many fishes can you put in there if the fish are about 8-11cm

  • @MrPukgay If they reach no more than an inch in length than you could comfortably fit 20 fish depending on their activeness. You just want to make sure you have a strong enough filter to take on the load of waste and uneaten food of your fish.

  • hahaha rock on goldfishy :D thats cool though you see all these tropical fish and then.... 1 goldfish

  • Hey how do i make my tank this clean and how do i clean calcium off. My teacher gave me a very abused fish tank and I want it this nice I used a metal brush it worked but its hard to do! also whats the best filter I can purchase?

  • im scared about putting 9 more angelfish (babies) in my t30 gallon tank. and i have 1. now becoz of this vid it get me strong to put them all of in!!!!

  • 100% clean

  • whats the length and width of that tank ....??

    thanks

  • Tank is about 24.25" Wide, 12.5" front to back, and 24.75" High.

  • Did i just see a gold fish ?

  • Yes, its huge now to, pretty good for a 10 cent feeder fish. I need to shoot a new video of the tank. Story of the goldfish is posted below and in the description of the video.

  • its not cool to have only 1 corydora they are like a family fish or community they need to be with the same species i bet if you put another 2 corys in it would be like a child meeting thieer parents for the first time he will actully move

  • This weekend I'm going to take a water sample in, and have it tested to make sure I'm doing OK with my current fish load. If alls well I'll buy a couple more corys.

  • well that one gold fish if it was alone the tank would need to be upsized they say when u buy them when thier like 1 inch u start with 10 gallons and add 5 gallons per gold fish but that gold fish is huge and will grow to like 2 feet

  • Beautiful tank, I got my tank setup a month and a half ago, and it finished the nitrogen cycle like 2 weeks ago. Although you should get more corydoras because corydoras are community fish, and the cory lives better in groups than alone.

  • Why is there a goldfish?

  • The goldfish was one of the feeder fish I bought for my clawed frogs. A friend asked if I would spare that one because how pretty it was. I didn't , but a week later my frogs never ate that one so I granted it asylum in my fish tank for being a survivor. In this video it is about 1.5" long, as of today he is over 6". I have named him Rocky.

  • My friend got a few feeders for his oscar, but it refused to eat this one fish, now it is about 7" living with a 14" oscar in a 100 gallon, it has several wounds on him though.

  • once the goldfish gets bigger it might eat some of your other fish

  • i like the music with it, nice setup

  • Thanks, the music is something that youtube offers with their "audioswap" feature. I thought it had a peaceful underwater sound.

  • nice

  • very nice setup

  • nice fish tank!
