This is the most vulgra thing on tv, comedians who are supposed to care about entertaining people, about pushing boundariees and putting a mirror up to society, here showing that they care more about getting awards and recognition from the establishment. The part where they fuck about cruelly and senselessly with an animal is so poignant, it shows such a childlike idiocy and undeveloped capitalist attitude, gad it makes me sick this shit.

the reason Harry wins this stuff a lot, rather like the reason Peter Kay gets a lot of promotion, most of his work is rather old fashioned squeeky clean stuff that can be aired easy and won't offend frozen pensioners... were as quite often HIGNFY and other success shows do have that element, and get shunned by the snobby pricks who run these things

Harry Hill's comedy is just very innocent and effortless, which is why it misses as much as it hits.

Russell Brand I love but only when he's in certain modes - when he's taking on targets. Watch his performance at the Amnesty International Secret Policeman's Ball; It's very good. ;-)
