Yeah! Sadly, it's something a lot of people don't know about bunnies.  They keep them in cages, but if you train them properly and hide your power chords you can eventually have them live in your house/apt like a cat. My rabbits haven't seen the inside of a cage in 5 years.

There's a lot of good info on the web about how to litter train rabbits.  I recommend adopting a rabbit and asking the shelter or adoption organization which of their bunnies already have the best litter habits. That'll make it easier on a first time house rabbit owner. Like any pet there's work and training involved, but it's rewarding and your rabbits will love you for it.

Some of that is the magic of filmmaking. I framed out the worst chewed chair legs. You can see chew marks on the piano bench leg at the end of the video as they run through the tunnel if you pause it.

Rabbits naturally go to the bathroom in a specific area so you can train them with litter boxes. The easiest thing to do is adopt a rabbit that already has good litter training. A shelter or adoption group will tell you which of their rabbits already have good habbits. At home, start them in a confined space and then slowly give them more freedom. Eventually you can let them out all the time. There are several great guides online with more details on how to litter train. Try rabbit dot org.
