@Rywen, even there. there is obviously no regard for real philosophy in the profession of science today; otherwise they wouldn't focus on naturalism. science was originally the application of inferences into systems whose nature corresponds to the inference. Now, it focuses on what can be proven concretly(inherently naturalistic).
@Sudhish86 Yet you yourself just made a presumption that naturalism is wrong. You must also then challenge the process of empiricism because it's exactly what led us to naturalism. What then would you suggest outside the focus of observation could be used as evidence? Or are you a solipsist of sorts and completely deny that knowledge is even possible? The bottom line is that empiricism is the best system under which knowledge can be ascertained. Only the naive would deny that fact.
@Ryushihotshot, it's not a presumption. naturalism itself assumes that which we percieve through the five senses is the extent to which "knowledge" can exist. also, knowledge is a compulsion. you don't know something it it's just a mere conclusion, but if you're compelled by something else to yield to it. therefore, empiricism=/=naturalism. you ignore what happens in your own mind, which is the main reference for approaching knowledge...

Referring to two males who Sodomize each other as a 'married couple', and exterminating unborn children on demand are only symptoms of the insanity we've degenerated into. Stick to your TeeVee programming and faith that you are matter having a conscious experience.
@onefodderunit How is sodomizing someone degrading if they both want it? Your opinion doesn't matter then. Just those in the act. I could say sodomizing someone is healthy and invigorating and makes you a better person, but does that make me right? No. Nobody is right except those involved.
As for mutilating babies they are no more than a collection of cells. Nothing is alive when abortion is done. It's like cutting your nails. So many ignorant people. Not dumb. Ignorant
[You're OK with exterminating unborn children. How Atheistic]
Exterminating implies "to the very last fetus." It's not my business if a woman or a couple choose not to carry THEIR zygote to term. The choice to pass on their genetics to a child, and by proxy to the future, is entirely up to them.
[boyfriend wants to sodomize them]

Matter creates all life, there is no life proven to exist that is immaterial. Please show me this life that isn't matter. I'm mean, it's almost like you've been dodging this simple request, but of course you wouldn't do that, would you?
@onefodderunit I'm ok with aborting a birth before a baby is formed with a conscious and working body parts so as the female/male can continue their lives as normal without piling more responsibilities upon all the crazy ass ones we have in the GO GO GO age.
As for sodomization of my non-existent 18yr old... I don't think any daughter of 18 would ask that question... or if they were any age. They would just do it, and 18 is old enough to make your own decisions.
Babies are exterminated long after their hearts and brains form. Women who have abortions are far more likely to commit suicide than women who give birth.
If your son or daughter were getting sodomized, you don't believe it would harm their dignity as long as they consented.
@onefodderunit If women who have abortions are more likely to commit suicide, then all you can do is to inform her of it - since it is her body and her zygot she is free to do as she pleases. You should in no way stand in her way of making her choice, all you can do is present her with facts and let her make her dicission.
Same thing with sodomy - if a couple has the facts at hand and still choose to go through with the act, get out of their way. It's their choice.
@HDaviator "Damn it, Walter! What does any of this have to do with Vietnam, man?!"
Well the video is about how most people in Congress are lawyers and business men, right? I was merely illustrating how yet again Paul is the exceptional exception to the status quo.,,,Or if you prefer I mean to say 'Haters gonna hate.'
The fact that he is a medical doctor means nothing when he doesn't believe in Evolution. That means he ignores mainstream science and evidence which is perhaps worse than a lawyer of businessman that believes in evolution and is up to date in the with science.
@DarthDefiler He is just one of a few non-lawyers in politics, which is a shame as you would want Government to reflect society. Most people are far too honest & truthful to enter politics, to garner votes by making promises you will not be keeping is beyond the morality of good people.
@Andysingtoyou "The creator" saw fit to drown the entire planet when we didn't do what we were told. If there's one thing we need to improve as a species, it's not an evil dictator who solves problems with global genocide.
@GofreMcNoodle The story of Noah's Ark was a fabrication of a Jewish author to teach the lesson to follow God's directions, and you will be saved. God didn't kill people then, just like he doesn't now.
@343GuiltySparkO4 Actually off the top of my head, God gets bears to kill over 40 children for insulting a bald man in the Book of Kings, and then there's the lovely events in the time of Moses like the drowning of the Pharaoh's army and the killing of every first-born son. Or is the entire old testament a collection of jewish metaphors?
@Andysingtoyou you're a fucking fool. it's thanks to the masses of slabbering imbeciles like you that fuckwits like members of the bush family, or fucking insane hollywood actors get elected into the white house.
@spencerhitch66 If we put him in the senate he could no longer say what he wants. He is better off doing what he is doing; which is making everyone who he can reach think. That is what we need from our generations. Thought and progress. He is the Epitome of both.
@tomasusan yeah.. pulling information out of one's ass is the half ass approach to engaging in conversation here in youtube :/. It's all really sad. (and i'm not talking about you i'm talking about the guy you responded too)
@Aeosix Remember, the problem emerges in this congress. If the bright and intelligent are put in a position to not create a problem, they would agree not to do so. I'll top off with an example: we all know war was started because of oil. If the engineers, scientists, and businessmen were put in the position, I'm sure that with the the cooperation of these new people in congress, they would say:"No, there's a lot of better solutions for energy instead of oil, the whole universe if ours."
@Aeosix And a second thought to this: All these bright and brilliant people are solving problems, but if they do not take control of that which creates the problem, they will be working all their lives to solve problems that keep storming in. There will never be a resolute solution to the problems created by these foolish idiots who apparently think they rule the world.
He makes a great point. We have a recipe for conflict and gridlock. Unfortunately in Congress there is no judge or jury that can get directly involved to inject some reason into the equation.
Technocracy is a form of government in which science would be in control of all decision making. Scientists, engineers and technologists who have knowledge, expertise or skills would compose the governing body, instead of politicians, businessmen and economists. In a technocracy, decision makers would be selected based upon how knowledgeable and skillful they are in their field. Currently, no country has adopted this system of governance.
@Cebukid888 wow, thanks for pointing this out : ) I've actually never heard the term before, would be great (although highly unrealistic) if one or more nations would adopt this form of government.
@Mills88 Not before he builds an army of worker robots to bring about a golden era of mankind, only to be murdered by fanatics who claim that Jesus said he didn't like robots.

@DarthDefiler
What does that have to do with anything? Seriously you Ron Paul supporters are becoming the pests of youtube lol.
HDaviator 1 month ago
@HDaviator "Damn it, Walter! What does any of this have to do with Vietnam, man?!"
Well the video is about how most people in Congress are lawyers and business men, right? I was merely illustrating how yet again Paul is the exceptional exception to the status quo.,,,Or if you prefer I mean to say 'Haters gonna hate.'
DarthDefiler 1 month ago
@DarthDefiler
The fact that he is a medical doctor means nothing when he doesn't believe in Evolution. That means he ignores mainstream science and evidence which is perhaps worse than a lawyer of businessman that believes in evolution and is up to date in the with science.
HDaviator 1 month ago
@DarthDefiler He is just one of a few non-lawyers in politics, which is a shame as you would want Government to reflect society. Most people are far too honest & truthful to enter politics, to garner votes by making promises you will not be keeping is beyond the morality of good people.

@Andysingtoyou "The creator" saw fit to drown the entire planet when we didn't do what we were told. If there's one thing we need to improve as a species, it's not an evil dictator who solves problems with global genocide.
GofreMcNoodle 1 month ago
@GofreMcNoodle The story of Noah's Ark was a fabrication of a Jewish author to teach the lesson to follow God's directions, and you will be saved. God didn't kill people then, just like he doesn't now.
343GuiltySparkO4 1 month ago
@343GuiltySparkO4 Actually off the top of my head, God gets bears to kill over 40 children for insulting a bald man in the Book of Kings, and then there's the lovely events in the time of Moses like the drowning of the Pharaoh's army and the killing of every first-born son. Or is the entire old testament a collection of jewish metaphors?

@spencerhitch66 If we put him in the senate he could no longer say what he wants. He is better off doing what he is doing; which is making everyone who he can reach think. That is what we need from our generations. Thought and progress. He is the Epitome of both.

The engineers, scientists, business people are too busy solving real world problems to sit around and argue about things that don't really matter.
Aeosix 1 month ago 4
@Aeosix Remember, the problem emerges in this congress. If the bright and intelligent are put in a position to not create a problem, they would agree not to do so. I'll top off with an example: we all know war was started because of oil. If the engineers, scientists, and businessmen were put in the position, I'm sure that with the the cooperation of these new people in congress, they would say:"No, there's a lot of better solutions for energy instead of oil, the whole universe if ours."
UltimatePilot1 1 month ago

Cebukid888 1 month ago
@Cebukid888 wow, thanks for pointing this out : ) I've actually never heard the term before, would be great (although highly unrealistic) if one or more nations would adopt this form of government.
