@jasonwkeller76 It happened in the mid 90's, when Marvel wouldn't pay their artists, and the artists weren't getting a fair share in their creative rights. They came together and made their own company: Image, then WildStorm (which led to Lee selling WildStorm to DC, and their partnership).
