@Inkslinger7 all of my work is done on guitars and drums and microphones, i'm a musician not a tattooist or a scratcher but i do know a couple of "scratchers" as you would say, who tattoo at home cause they just don't like the douchebag attitude at "most" shops but these people i know have taken a blood bourne pathogens course, scrub thier tubes by hand, clean them in ultrasonic cleaners, sterilize them in autoclaves and do spore tests on thier equipment along with wrapping everything in plastic

Khris340 What are you dumb or something.....? I mean really, most of the greats of our time, I mean GREAT tattoo artists, not just well known oldschoolers, NEVER TATTOOED OUT OF THEIR HOUSE! You think that peoplese houses are cleaner than most shops? Maybe a few, maybe, but not most, a few things to keep in mind here. Micro spray, cross contamination, proper barrier protection, proper sterilization...ect ect. Really, just do some research before you open your mouth and spew this shit.

Moral here, is that most people who tattoo out of their house (the vast majority but not all) don't have a clue what they are doing, let alone any blood borne pathogen training.
