@dilps I would think so considering FFIV Boss Music was used in SMRPG. I thought IV was done around the same time. It was supposed to be an adverisement since Square did both FFIV and SMRPG. @tfla11 If you didnt like FF7 at all then you probably wont like FF6. They're both JRPGs, their gameplay is meh but their story and characters supposedly makes up for it. I personally do like a 6 and 7, but if you didn't like FF7 at ALL, you won't like FF6 either.

on my 4th run of the game, i decided to be ridiculously unprepared for this battle (level 30, no force equipment, no paladin shield, no atma weapon, no illumina, no offering and no gembox) man, it was pretty epic, he can be really freaking hard

@kiteshugo2 The way the second half of the game is designed allows you to enter the final dungeon severely underprepared or extremely overleveled. Normally, unless you have a guide of some sorts or have played this enough times to know where everything is, you wouldn't enter this battle so powerful like this. The world is HUGE and there are LOTS of secrets.
@TheHudiyu final fantasy 3 imo had a ridiculous final boss and a hidden boss who rapes you if ur not prepared. also emerald and ruby weapon from ff7 are tough

Allistar, please you have no idea what your talking about. Pieces of Jenova manifested itself and were making their way to the north crater to join with Sephiroth. These peices would shape shift into Sephiroth, hence everytime you saw Sephiroth would fight a Jenova peice. As for the Clones they were not clones but people experimented on to be part of the Jenova Reunion theory.

I prefer to think of the numbered FF series games as my children. I love them all equally but for their different qualities. The same developers worked on them for the most part, presenting totally eclectic efforts with the intent to bring you a new experience each time. (^-^)v
kefkaroth you absolutely don't know what you are talking about...in my opinion ff8 was so underrated cause squaresoft focused so much on ff7 which is way worse in my opinion than ff6...(kefka owns) they just can't bear the idea that ff8 is one of the best games ever made...if you can't appreciate the awesomeness of ff8 then you can just go and play fishville in your facebook...

The only way for me to win battles was to spam summons, which imo, was so lame. I guess magic could've worked sometimes too, but I still don't get the draw and magic system very well. It's been a long time since I played it.

@allistar sorry to call you out but no, it was NOT a Sephiroth clone. as hojo says much later in the game cloud was the ONLY successful clone, all the seph clones where failures. thats why they covered themselves up with black cloaks in nibleheim. the "sephiroth" that killed aeris (or aerith) was jenova taking on the form of seph in order to controll cloud easier. thats why you have to fight a piece of jenova every time you see him. this story was VERY confusing so believe me, i did my homework.

in all truth kefka shouldve been harder but i blame the creators for one thing making his goner not like spells such as ultima an ignore defense based spell. goner has the strongest pure power of 220 and its not as strong because they didnt make it an ignore mag defense thing plus the higher your mag def is the weaker it becomes. so if u have 255 mag def goner will only take a 1 in damage. making it an ignore def goner actually does damage at least 4000hp maybe even 5000hp.
Midway through the game, Kefka began capturing Espers and harnessing their power. This is how he got most of his power. Later, he messed with the statues on the island and in doing so he obtained their power; essentially becoming a god.
My perfect party: Edgar, using Illumina to attack; Sabin, using Bum Rush and Curing; Terra, with earring, which in lv. 53 did 9000 damage with just a Flare; and Setzer, using Fixed Dice (with the offering relic), sometimes dealing 40000 damage.
Kingdom Hearts was stupid... Classic FFs all day.

The trick to making the game difficult was to finish the game at level 35.

Allistar, please you have no idea what your talking about. Pieces of Jenova manifested itself and were making their way to the north crater to join with Sephiroth. These peices would shape shift into Sephiroth, hence everytime you saw Sephiroth would fight a Jenova peice. As for the Clones they were not clones but people experimented on to be part of the Jenova Reunion theory.

@allistar123 you are wrong because you obviously have no clue what a clone is. a clone is a being of the EXACT same genetic make-up as its original. jenova was NOT a clone of sephiroth, that simple. and dont say youre right because you where KINDA right. if you only answer part of the question correctly on a test it will still be marked wrong. basically im saying, if you're going to correct someone, dont get the "oh whatever" attitude when you, the person CORRECTING someone, is told youre wrong.

Atma Weapon and .. Can't remember the smaller one.
Anyway, both weapons damages have something to do with Locke's life if I am not mistaken. So that might help you google it.

I prefer to think of the numbered FF series games as my children. I love them all equally but for their different qualities. The same developers worked on them for the most part, presenting totally eclectic efforts with the intent to bring you a new experience each time. (^-^)v

kefkaroth you absolutely don't know what you are talking about...in my opinion ff8 was so underrated cause squaresoft focused so much on ff7 which is way worse in my opinion than ff6...(kefka owns) they just can't bear the idea that ff8 is one of the best games ever made...if you can't appreciate the awesomeness of ff8 then you can just go and play fishville in your facebook...

FF8 is bad imo becouse of it's battlesystem. I liked it's story but for me, it was really a pain to even play the game.

ff6 was better cause it had an absolutely great badass villain and because it was a great game despite its graphics didnt help too much...also, the junction system in ff8 was really easy...you ff7 lovers should understand that square couldnt make all games like ff7 so that you could like them. and the junction system was really easy if you knew the basics! if you dont understand that doesnt mean it is not good (and i dont want to insult you in any way)

You think of junction system as the battlesystem?
The only way for me to win battles was to spam summons, which imo, was so lame. I guess magic could've worked sometimes too, but I still don't get the draw and magic system very well. It's been a long time since I played it.
And how the hell was Sephiroth not a badass villain? And how was FF7 NOT a great game despite it's graphics? I do like FF6 but not NEARLY as much as I enjoyed playing FF7. It's soundtrack and story blew my mind.

ok let me summarise. i think ff7 was a great game. really magnificent. but i like ff6 A LOT more than ff7 because the story and villain appealed more to me. both games didn't have GREAT graphics but were equally good. i just like ff6 more.

@allistar sorry to call you out but no, it was NOT a Sephiroth clone. as hojo says much later in the game cloud was the ONLY successful clone, all the seph clones where failures. thats why they covered themselves up with black cloaks in nibleheim. the "sephiroth" that killed aeris (or aerith) was jenova taking on the form of seph in order to controll cloud easier. thats why you have to fight a piece of jenova every time you see him. this story was VERY confusing so believe me, i did my homework.

Yep Your exactly right Neoblaze, I wish some of these know it alls listened to logic. The Sephs clones were ironically are also not clones in the sense we think of clones either which is why the game makes it confusing. You are right though man!

in all truth kefka shouldve been harder but i blame the creators for one thing making his goner not like spells such as ultima an ignore defense based spell. goner has the strongest pure power of 220 and its not as strong because they didnt make it an ignore mag defense thing plus the higher your mag def is the weaker it becomes. so if u have 255 mag def goner will only take a 1 in damage. making it an ignore def goner actually does damage at least 4000hp maybe even 5000hp.

Midway through the game, Kefka began capturing Espers and harnessing their power. This is how he got most of his power. Later, he messed with the statues on the island and in doing so he obtained their power; essentially becoming a god.
