i used to ride that on my dirt bike ...way b4 you thought about climbing that tower...and even right b4 they started buildining on that mountain?...one of da last good places to ride... it sux they ever decided to ever build on that mountain...lots of good times there...i lived @ da bottom of da mountain...&spent more time up there than most ppl....
hey man! great vid! i got a question that you might be to answer. the other day i grabbed my harness & climbed a cell tower! it was so fun i might just do it again! unless radioactivity is a big factor??? is it??
Sure is. The one I'm on is the tall one beside the two shorter ones. It's 300' and the other 2 are about 160' each.
Occasionally I go up with a 10X zoom camera and take a few pictures if the air is real dry. The dryer the air the further you can see and still get decent pictures.
i am terrified of heights, no way in the world i would have ever in my life climb that high

Thanks so much for the tour. I just spent 3 days in and around Little Switzerland and I think I'm in love with the whole place.

Yes You sure can. A housing development has now been built on the mountain. and access is from Grant's Mtn. road. from Ashworth road in Marion.

Grew up in Marion, climbed that mountain right after those towers were put up, just after it was clear cut it was a beautiful view.
