Pleased to announce - since the reunion and new album was catalysed by this gig - that June Tabor & Oysterband's Ragged Kingdom has been voted Album Of 2011 in the annual fRoots Critics Poll

If ever there was a band that complimented the brilliant intense singer June Tabor it was the Oyster Band. They should record another studio album together -- they were so good on Freedom and Rain. Their cover of the Pogues' "Lullaby of London" is excellent on that album too.
