@Jayronimo123 Definitely go for the T3i. It beats the D300's video hands down. Plus it has the swivel screen which is critical for setting up shots when you're alone.

@Mrcoolagainbuzy as useless as capitalizing every word? lol =P. But seriously though, there are a number of reasons. First, sometimes compositing liquid blood squirts just doesn't work out realistically and looks way worse. Second, blood DOES indeed actually mist like that to a certain extent (I'm aware of the overuse in this video, it's intentional). And third, if it's too gory, youtube algorithms tend to limit search results to it, so it's a strategy thing somewhat. And Fourth, I LIKE IT!! :)

@MrBigBeard99 I didn't forget it... it's there, on both the bullet casing elements and the gun slide. I couldn't push it more than that because it started looking kinda bad and not behaving properly. It's just the downside of working with 2D composited elements verses rendering them with motion blur from the 3D program. I actually spent quite a bit of time trying to get it to look right =(!

@ZaMazta2000 First off, any time you see some sort of promotion... it's because it is actually a promotion. Second off, true, PC's are now more "powerful" than the xbox in all ways, but that does not necessitate it being better. I have both and enjoy both. I love playing Halo/Gears, and my beastly machine runs Skyrim/BF3 at max graphics just fine. Sometimes I prefer the experience of Xbox.

Awesome video, just a few practical mistakes - The bullet shells should be way thinner, and the muzzle flashes you used are for rifles. Other than that, the VFX is as good as usual.

@unprofessionalvids It deals with darks and shadows a lot better. But I was quite impressed with what the T2i was able to capture with a few well set up lights!! Good lighting is always the key to a great looking video.
