  • Is that Kenny Powers at @1:01 ?

  • Having worked for tesco i see nothing wroung in this store opening.Shame the local scum have to make dicks of them selfs. Not that anyone cares what scum think.

  • These PRSC trustafarians are such c@nts...luckily a load of them will be doing time for all this.

  • this is why jason statham should be a cop... woulda loved to see him smash someone up

  • I love Tescos! Quality, Choice and Cheap! :) I have no idea why anyone would have bad intentions for the company!

  • @Zapinc9 Wow....

  • @bs79uhcon Whats 'Wow'?

  • ACAB

  • @cutloosecmp said "I can see Tesco from my house and I welcome a shop that provides a variety of fresh food that the other shops do not supply"

I can't believe you're defending Tesco's - a company that exploits the world for profit (dig into it's practices and history, it's startling!)

  • Rubbish.

  • And who will pay for a new police car? taxpayers...

  • @cutloosecmp

    Couldn't agree more!

We've been living under a rainbow-nazi flag for years in stokes croft.

  • @cutloosecmp

    Couldn't agree more!

  • These Anarchist squatter parasite druggie scum have been vandalising Stokes Croft & making GENUINE Resident's lives a misery for YEARS. - Most of the rioters are 'rent-a-mob' layabouts & nothing to do with the local community. GENUINE RESIDENTS WELCOME TESCO - not everybody wants to shop at the local dirty, sleazy Pakki shops where BAD things happen in the back.

WHAT RIGHT HAVE A BUNCH OF ARROGANT LEFTIES & ANARCHISTS TO TELL US WHERE WE CAN OR CAN'T SHOP.

  • @freeman8128

Couldn't agree more! We've been living under a rainbow-nazi flag in stokes croft for too long.

  • @freeman8128 The fact that you refer to the local shops as "sleazy Pakki shops" shows your comments should not be listened to. Why would anyone listen to the view of racist scum? Stokes Croft is generally a tolerant place...people like you are not welcome.

  • @screeching82

I CALL A THING WHAT IT IS: the sleazy Pakki shops I refered to are indeed SLEAZY & DISREPUTABLE & do enormous damage to the local community for which I and others have worked hard for many thankless years. As for "tolerance": Local people: the much put-apon GENUINE RESIDENTS are SICK & TIRED of the freeloading scum who hang around our area bringing it down & living off our backs.

I'm a born Bristolian of mixed race: I'VE LIVED & WORKED IN STOKES CROFT FOR OVER 25 YEARS - and YOU?

  • @freeman8128

How are they sleazy & Disreputable? What "enourmous damage to the local community" do they do? I live slightly further up Gloucester Road, but frequent Stokes Croft regularly...how is anyone living off your back?

I have lived in the area for 2 years and am white, but I can't see the relevance in that.

  • @screeching82 Try living nearer to Stokes Croft & you would find out. - unless you are sleazy & disreputable yourself.

  • @freeman8128 I only live 650 metres away...is that too far?

  • @screeching82 The relevance or your being white & a newcomer to the area is that you have absolutely NO right to lecture ME about 'racism' - or about anything to do with Stokes Croft. - As a mixed race Bristolian who has lived in the area for more years than you have been alive, I know FAR MORE about both topics than you do.

  • @freeman8128 Do you think being mixed race exempts you from being racist? I don't care what ethnic origin you come from, you're still a racist! How do you know how old I am, and how do you know how muchor little I know about each topics? Grasping at straws!!

  • @screeching82 The damage done to the local Stokes Croft community by sleazy pakki shops is by attracting every alcoholic, druggie & other street scum to the area from all Bristol & far beyond through their indiscriminate 24 hour sale of cheap alcohol. Their drunken, drugged, anti-social clients then bring havoc; crime, vandalism, nuisense & abuse of all kinds against the local, resident community.

Some of these shops have also been implicated in other very serious criminal activity

  • @freeman8128 - What a short sighted view point. How do you think people become "street scum"? Stopping the sale of alcohol doesn't fix the problems, it just brushes them under the carpet! Tesco have been heavily implicated in various criminal activities too. i.e breached of human rights in the manufacturing of clothes and various other produce.

  • @screeching82 You have no right to say who should or shouldn't be listended to & no right to abuse a total stranger on a matter on which you presume much but know NOTHING. - The word 'Pakki' does not imply racial hatred any more than do words like 'Brit,' or 'Aussie'. The label 'racist' is typical meaningless jargon used indiscriminately by Ignorant left-wing fascists like yourself to silence or discredit any opinion they may not understand or agree with.

  • @freeman8128 - The fact that you are now aiming abuse at me for disagreeing with your P.O.V is a little hypocritical don't you think?! Pakki does imply racial hatred after 30+ years of use by racists (Language develops over time)! Racist is meaningless jargon? Interesting...Referring to me as an ignorant left wing fascist seems like you are trying to silence and discredit me. I opposed the Tesco opening as the main attraction of the local area was it's independence from chains...

  • @screeching82 - All I did was point out that you were being racist and hypocritical. Racist bit: "local dirty, sleazy Pakki shops where BAD things happen in the back." Hypocritical bit: "WHAT RIGHT HAVE A BUNCH OF ARROGANT LEFTIES & ANARCHISTS TO TELL US WHERE WE CAN OR CAN'T SHOP." By supporting Tesco you are ensuring that the local shops will go out of business and telling the "lefties and anarchists" were they can shop!

  • @screeching82 Ever heard of a free market & Freedom of choice?

If you had lived 25 years in the middle of that shit as I have - and tried to help matters rather than being part of the problem, you would know what you were talking about.

    - As for the Lefties, Anarchists and other useless street scum who make our lives a misery they can go shop in HELL & do we GENUINE RESIDENTS: a favour by staying there.

  • @freeman8128 - I have...freedom of choice means I don't have to agree with you or anyone else. Freedom of choice means I am within my rights to protest anything I disagree with, freedom of choice means I can voice any opinion I choose and freedom of choice means I don't have to come back on this thread to read your worthless reply!

  • @screeching82 -- You have been aiming ad homiem abuse at me from the outset. If you dont like TESCO do'nt shop there - some of us prefer to.

Since you live up the Gloucester Rd., Stokes Croft is none of your business anyway.

  • @freeman8128 So anything more than half a mile away from home is none of my business? I assume therefore that you will be removing all the videos from your channel as they all relate to matters outside of Stokes Croft? What a ridiculous arguement! Ever heard of Globalisation? Tesco have a far wider reach than Stokes Croft you moron!

  • @screeching82 Wake up to the REAL WORLD! - The worst of all racists are the Pakkis themselves.

  • @freeman8128 It sounds like you are a racist snob

  • @neilamadhava ... and it sounds like you know NOTHING

  • @freeman8128 - Sounds like neilamadhava has you sussed! Everyone has the ability to be racist, but you are letting Bristol down by showing it. Rather than "racist snob" though, I prefer the term "RACIST CUNT"!

  • @screeching82 Your resort to bad language & personal abuse tells us all we need to know about your low intelligence, lack of education and lack of any intelligent opinion or worthwhile argument. - It also demonstrates that you are exactly the kind of lowlife scum that the majority Stokes Croft community finds so obnoxious and unwelcome.

The number of argumentative hate comments you have sent me also shows that you are an idle bum with nothing better to do.

I am not interested in your opinions.

  • @freeman8128 - My resort to bad language is a result of frustration of having to read your guff! You have no idea what I do for a living, or in my spare time...my profile doesn't give you that much info! I think you'll find you are the one peddling the argumentative hate comments: "The worst of all the racists are the Pakkis themselves"! The fact that you have no valid response to the many points I raised only show who really has the "low intelligence".

  • @screeching82

You referred to my intelligence: actually my IQ is 127 ("superior range") and I have a University Degree - but don't worry about that white boy: I grew up in St Pauls, based in Stokes Croft for 25 years, never lived a sheltered life. Before I saw the error of my ways, I ran with some rather naughty scamps both at home and abroad and can pack a very nice little punch - or more.

So what happen neighbour? I'd love to meet you & hear you call me 'cunt' & 'moron' to my face

  • @freeman8128 - Excellent more threats of violence! Again a total contradiction of what you are allegedly against!

  • @screeching82 - Not a threat , just an invitation for you to come out from behind your computer & put your bad language & abusive opinions of me to myself in person.

    - so what's your problem white boy?

    - not got the courage of your convictions?

    - or just a worthless little WANKER.

  • @freeman8128 - and what would be the point of that. I am more than capable of expressing myself right here! Talking of bad language you just referred to me as a wanker...tut tut! You are only making yourself look more foolish!

  • @screeching82

    - As I said: you are big talk, no knowledge, no balls.

  • @freeman8128 And you are a moron! What's wrong with talking? Just because I don't want to fight doesn't mean I have no knowledge or balls. Please stop inferring violent actions "pack a very nice little punch - or more". When I first commented on this thread I just pointed out that your racist attitude was wrong. You have since ruined all your previous arguements about the undesirables of stokes croft by being abusive, racist inferring violence. Congratulations! You've made yourself look foolish!

  • @screeching82 SINCE WE ARE NEAR NEIGHBOURS, PERHAPS YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET ME SOMEWHERE QUIET & CONVENIENT SAY, KING SQUARE PARK? MONTPELIER PARK? THEN YOU CAN CALL ME A "RACIST CUNT" TO MY FACE & FIND OUT WHO YOU ARE MESSING WITH!!! WHAT TIME WOULD BE CONVENIENT?

    - OR ARE YOU JUST ONE OF THOSE COWARDLY LITTLE STREAKS OF PISS WHO IS ONLY 'BRAVE' WHEN HIDING BEHIND A COMPUTER?

....BRING IT ON WHITE BOY ! - I'M READY !!!

  • @freeman8128 - hahaha. I'm no fighter mate, so would be stupid of me to turn up. Glad you've finally shown your true colours though. All that talk of "street scum", "sleazy pakkis", "rent-a-mob layabouts", "druggie scum", "freeloading scum", "left wing fascists", "lowlife scum" etc and 1 person calls you a racist on the internet and you are offering them out. Sounds like the sort of person that Stokes Croft and any other area could do without to be honest!

  • @screeching82 - Oh and to clarify, if I hear people being racist in the street or in pubs, I will happily tell them to do one! I might not be a fighter, but I have strong beliefs! These beliefs are strong enough that I won't be bullied by you or any other racist into being silent. Congratulations on making yourself look stupid on this thread!

  • @screeching82

Thanks for your list of excuses wimp. I would strongly advise you not to say to a stranger on YouTube what you would not have the courage to say to his face.

If you change your mind - or grow some balls - the invitation to meet me stays open.

  • @freeman8128 I have the courage to say this to peoples faces...just don't see the point in going out of my way to meet "somewhere quiet" to find out who I'm "messing with". Particularly as you have inferred violence. There is nothing for me to gain from this...other than a black eye. Instead I can type here and let you blow all your arguements out of the water by contradicting yourself repeatedly!

  • @screeching82

Stop making excuses, you have been well & truly OWNED - get off my manor & back to your mammy white boy.

  • @freeman8128 - OK...whatever you say! Keep going!

  • @screeching82 Goodbye fool.

  • @freeman8128 - Right back at ya!

  • @screeching82 We will meet soon. - don't worry, I promise not to hurt you & you will never know who I am.

  • @freeman8128 - Sounds creepy!

  • @screeching82 - Nothing creepy, but you do go on don't you: You must be an even sadder looser than I took you for. Instead of playing with your head, showing your folly & weakness & laughing at you, you are so truly pathetic that maybe I should be helping you. Apparently you need to get out more, find a job, meet people, make some contact with the real world - Do you or have you ever worked? have you skills of any kind? - maybe I can fix you a job, training, therapy or something - tell me.

  • @freeman8128 - I am only replying to you. If I go on, then so do you! Interesting...why do I need to go out more? I have a full time job thankyou, I also went for a drink with a friend in the real world today. What a sad attempt at making me look bad...more fool you! Maybe you need to get out more, get a job etc? I don't know you so I wouldn't know or want to be accusatory!

  • @screeching82

Indeed; exactly, YOU DON'T KNOW ME - so be careful who you cross swords with idiot.

  • @freeman8128 - I will endeavour to be careful. Thanks for the tip!

  • @screeching82

I AM Stokes Croft sunshine. If you had the guts to abuse me to my face instead of hiding behind your computer - you might yet have earned yourself some respect & credability. But now you are NOTHING

  • The police now have all the excuses they need to clamp down on future sensible action by other campaigners against these vile exploitative multinationals

  • This is where I wish the police had guns to shoot this worthless scum. Fuck you cunts, be funny when the police fuck you up and put you inside with some real criminals. lol

  • @kingsm33d Oh dear. Very one sided opinion there. Did you live here by any chance - did you see exactly what happened? Also, I would think about the recent case concerning Ian Tomlinson. Police unfortunately break the law on many occasions and repeatedly fail to learn from their mistakes.

  • What an absolute bunch of wasters u r, I'm sure when ur desperate for a pint of milk ul b popping to local tescos for it

  • fender your a fucking rude narrow minded dipshit your self to make a judgment on anyone that happens to be on benifits,

  • The Tesco opened 6 days earlier and is set to reopen. During this time turnovers were minimal and store security very heavy 10-12 people from industry heavyweight shergroup. Tesco can outstay even a long boycott. The notion that capitalism is a level playing field is illusionary and this is one of the reason why people don't want Tesco here. They are too big. There is no balance of power between the individual consumer and the retailer. They take money out but what do the put back in?

  • If you don't like Tesco don't shop there, if most people feel and did the same Tesco will close due to lack of business - it's called capitalism and it works. It would seem this is not simple enough for some to understand. I hate to generalise, but no doubt the majority of the protesters don't pay taxes and in fact scrounge of the state they so despise, oh the irony.

  • In most other countries you'd be shot by the police..... British people have a very lucky right to protest..... Don't ruin it with violence.

  • cant believe that one kid had a tennessee titans jersey on

  • @atombomb31458

Nor can I! Aren't they a big franchise in the States? Uh oh, hope he made it out of the 'cultural quarter' alive!

  • Just wanted to throw out a big "fuck you" to all the coward internet pundits hating on the riot: it's about 10000000 times easier to be a "responsible," law-abiding and boring middle class troll than it is to fight the police on the streets, so do everyone who still has a beating heart a favor and just shut the fuck up

  • @armiesofthenight Excellent summing up of the anti-tesco/anti-police argument there.

"UNLESS YOU MAKE A LOT NOISE, WHAT YOU SAY DOESN'T MATTER"

"IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH US, SHUT UP!"

Things are much simpler when you assume you understand other people's motives aren't they?

p.s. I hope you appreciate the irony of your use of the word coward.

  • @armiesofthenight

Fight the police on the streets! Hilarious. True cowards throw bottles and drop paving stones. As for that 'middle clas' business, didn't you look around you on the night in question?

  • @armiesofthenight What is wrong with being responisble and law-abiding? The Police were there to protect those who haven't been acting like a bunch of petulant pricks so do everyone who lives in the area of Cheltenham Road a favour and fuck off.

  • To all these people below proposing a more coffee-shop-revolutionary way of dealing with things. No.

This riot was perfect, shows exactly how little respect the bristol police have earned. Respect cant be commanded through fear, and these people showed that.

    bless.

  • What a bloody stupid way to make a legitimate point about localism. Do these arseholes think that the small shopkeepers they claim to support would really condone this kind of "support"?

  • .. te quality of debate seems to have declined somewhat - maybe it's cos the people arriving now are so stuck up their own arses they can't see a total bollox cowardly waste of tax payers money perpetrated by the people we rely on to protect us ALL from rabid frustrated jobsworths like the like of most of the last 20 posters - watch the vids - the whole thing was deliberately mismanaged to discredit the legitimate protesters - and provide training for a ' long hot summer'...........

  • @binpaper11

Not quite true really is it. The police have mandate to protect the people and families that live in this area 24 hours a day. I have watched many of the youtube vids they seem to meet this mandate at all times. The few occasions where they appear heavy handed would they still meet this mandate. I want protection from from protestors rather than to protect protesters. Remember this is where families with children live. The police are right to forcefully protect our right any time

  • old bill old bill

  • Do you why tax money is being wasted it becuse people go aroud and smash up police car becuse they dont like whats going on so they take it out on the police. So stop it and take it.

  • fucking idiots, they will be paying for ALL that damage out of their tax money. and the scum bags that are unemployed should be fucking hung disgrace to our country. the police are there to help us, if they thought a petrol bomb was there fair enough they were trying to protect people, no reason to act like a bunch of fucking uncivilized neandertholds smashing shit up.

  • When I see fucking scummy twats acting like this, it reminds me why I dont care all that much when I see police from others countries shooting and beating people. OUR POLICE ARE WAY TO SOFT ON THIS SORT OF SHIT, but yet other rather minor things they go all out on.....

  • One more thing for the dip-shits! the police DO catch up with the assholes who caused the most trouble! with the help of CCTV!! don't think the hoods always help!! they just need one clear view of your ugly face! and then someone will be come knocking on your benefit bum mansion!

  • WANKERS! is the word! stupid dumb twats!! well done, how much tax is going to used to clean this shit up?? oh yeah, glad the IQ warriors like the car alarm sound!! clap clap clap

  • stop videoing everything for the police to make arrests you idiots.

  • @jmpmcd Have you ever considered that might be exactly why people film it? So that the criminals who are destroying their neighbourhood will rightfully get arrested? Definitely not idiots.

Some people need to open their eyes a bit and realise that just because some people shout very loudly that they represent the "community" that doesn't make it true. Unless of course they decide to define the community ideologically rather than geographically and who are they to decide that?

  • why?

  • My guess is nearly all of these so called protesters could care less about any cause other than destroying property and acting tough. They're not angry about anything and very few are waving banners and showing they're are enraged. Looking at this, it is obvious most are there for fun bottle throwing window smashing. Kinda lame property vandalism.

  • Haha the for sale sign, I'd drop the price 10k for a sale now ha ha

  • Fucking hippies

  • Let me make it clear people. This did not kick off over tesco's, this kicked off because the police raided a squat!!! Tough shit hippies pay rent like everyone else!

  • @b0sh30 yeh tough shit hippies, your not free, your slaves just like the rest of us

  • What a bunch of wasters. Not protesting about anything just pissed up kidslooking to cause trouble. Police should have gone in with riot gear earlier than they did.

  • One day soon the police are going to get so fed up with these pathetic anarcho-brats they'll stop the aloof routine and just go all Ohio National Guard on them.

    I can't wait.

  • I may not know full story and all but I have to say, "Oh, look at me I'm so intelligent smashing a car, throwing glass everywhere, and starting fires and dumb sh*t". Geeze, at least here where I live if you're upset at things you come up with more creative or intelligent ways of either expressing your anger or getting back at that system. I also imagine these people don't give a sh*t about actually being apart of a solution or a person who's going to run for office. It's better than this crap.

  • @screwinalightbulb your obviously not american then hahaha

  • @screwinalightbulb lol running for office is being part of the problem.how would you suggest democraticly changing a governments mind. say have 3 million protest in the capital, oh shit thats right we did that with iraq war and of course we all remember the difference that made

  • wow u kids are soo cool... jk go kill yourself

  • So they destroy peoples stores and cars that they perhaps spend time and money into getting for themselves? Fucking fools.

  • I wonder if they realise that they're basically just a set of chavs?

  • Broken Britain.

Younger generations, look what the last lot have left for you, An education system and media that tells you that you should hate your Country, it's people and its heritage because in the past it did a few nasty things which we let overshadow the good your ancestors have done thus creating your generation !! Groups of kids that hate everything that Britain stands for and will push it into a 3rd would country in the future.

    Thanks people

    God help Britain's future

  • "watch out bruv"

  • [ credit to Frankov2000 for his succinct comment -which I've repeated ]

  • Really clever policing. Four people are reported to have petrol bombs to throw at Tesco. Response: to "protect the public" send in a troop of 150 riot police with back up from welsh constabulary on a hot evening at the beginning of a bank holiday 10:00pm when they will be most visible as everybody will be going out to enjoy the evening. Out of all the responses the police have at their disposal to deal with perceived threats, (not least a dawn raid with a trained swat team of maybe six to eight

  • I think comment I lifted below sums it up - people WILL react to RIDICULOUSLY oppressive policing when they are out for an evening of consuming government drugs [ alchohol] - this was absurdly misjudged on the part of the officer in charge - blocking stokes croft on a bank holiday eve........to hear it was to evict a few squatters 'cos they 'heard' there was a bottle and something inflammable in the kitchen.............!!!!!

  • @binpaper11 I think the timing of the raid was ridiculous. The local people were already angry about the new Tesco and I think they saw this a an opportune moment to get there voices heard. However I do question how many if them live in the local area and what their motives were.

  • @cutloosecmp - I think thats one of the most interesting things about this - MOST of the kids rioting certainly WEREN'T SC residents- they were transient 'tourists' there for the cultural life that has developed there[ which lets not get too carried away - is mostly a drinking thing] but they felt moved to 'defend' the turf by the absurd antics of a police force that has just got used to being UNACCOUNTABLE - the police do a difficult job - and their work is subverted when K**heads in the ranks

  • @cutloosecmp - I think thats one of the most interesting things about this - MOST of the people rioting were KIDS - certainly not SC residents- they were transient 'tourists' there for the cultural life that has developed [ which lets not get too carried away - is mostly a drinking thing] but they felt moved to 'defend' the turf by the absurd antics of a police force that has just got used to being UNACCOUNTABLE .......!! But then the cops were probably just warming up for a long hot summer....

  • @cutloosecmp i imagine they are motivated by misary, not everyone in this country is an avid consumer who believes what they are told. its pure dissent , the hatred of the ruling elite , the misary that you will never atain the goals that the media and sciety say you should no matter how hard you work , footballers being paid a wage that nurses could only dream of , wars for oil, its all coming to a head people are angry and the police are the elite's enforcers no wonder people throw stuff!!!!

  • @binpaper11 I'm glad the police responded to reports that a place that might have people inside might get petrol bombed. I wish they had started culling chavs 40 or so years ago. 80% of these "protestors" are Chavs out to cause trouble, not protestors. "Heavy Handed Policing" - They shoulda gassed the fuckers.

  • @binpaper11 maybe you should let proper bristolians decide what we want for our city

  • @windmillhillboy

3 generations in the city - TWAT

  • @binpaper11 i am fed up with people moving into our city telling us how to run it, its about time us bristolians got to together and told them what we want to do with our. BRISTOL BORN AND BRED

  • @windmillhillboy Damn Straight!!

  • Why is it people complain about "taxpayers money" when rioters do a few thousand pounds worth of damage, yet stay silent when the bankers and corporatists rob billions-trillions of pounds from the taxpayer in broad daylight?

The created meme of "taxpayers money" is just another tool used to control the peasants and get them to fight amongst themselves, much like political parties.

  • Surely it would have been better to nick and strip it down for parts so you could all go to a tesco 24 hour and buy some value beer and needles for your crack and smack looosers.

  • What a bunch of scummy chavs you lot are and we wonder why our taxes go up. Soft shit bags the lot of you

  • .. .. all right then will the officer who LEFT his car in the middle of a potential riot please step forward and explain what he thought he was doing with this valuable asset bought and paid for with MY taxes.... !

  • What a bunch of twats..What is it, nice hot evening, nothing better to do, oh lets riot against a tesco store..I can think of better things to riot against!! Some people, well looking at the video I should say kids, cuz very few look as if they are over 20, need to get a bloody life!!

  • oh i expe toct the cleaner was so sad to see that place trashed and get a few more hours min wage work whilst Tescos take huge profits robbing farmers and the developing countries. I for one would be so upset to turn up to work on the tills to find I had a day off absolutley gutted esp as sun shining and under the cobblestones theirs a beach

  • YAY! I love my tax money being wasted. Uneducated scum.

  • @SuperJared1993

by that you mean the cops wasting it, right?

  • @SuperJared1993 Do you why tax money is being wasted it becuse people go aroud and smash up police car becuse they dont like whats going on so they take it out on the police. So stop it and take it.

  • @SuperJared1993 check this comment out people. uneducated people are scum.... and you're surprised that people are revolting against this sort of attitude.

  • @TheCoffeeandafag That was not what I said. I implied the idiots in the video are uneducated. Vandalising a police car is REALLY going to help close down that Tescos right?!?!

  • Sad trampy virgins.

    Embarrassment to this country.

  • @pothiphar I 100% agree. a protest is fine. If people dislike Tescos, protest about. Make a loud noice. Hell, even chain yourself to the doors in protest, naked, with a swastika sprayed on your chest. But why smash so much stuff up, and as you said, at a cost to the tax payer.

  • ABSOLUTE SCUM. LOWER CLASS FUCKERS ACTING LIKE ANIMALS

  • A mob is ugly.

  • The English are shite at rioting .

  • @MrChristophe156 I agree. They should be sent to France for a month of intensive training.

  • @clancywiggam Yeah or cairo or belfast , they might learn a thing or two :)

  • @MrChristophe156 Yeah we kind of are, still if you need any flour thrown, some impromptu jazz, some stuff kind of moved around or a police car rocked a little bit, you know where to come.

  • squatters are dirty skanks, to fucking dumb to get a job or a life so decide to make everyone elses shit. get a real house.

  • @pothiphar

Maybe you should lay the blame where it lies, the police arrested 4 people with an army of 160 police that were intent on starting a fight. You are surprised they got angry?

  • This looks like a wonderful "community", People like this should be dragged out to the kerb over the drain and shot in the back of the head, Everything has to change, fair enough support your local buissiness but there is no need for the amount of vandilism shown here it didnt even achieve anything, Im so glad i dont live there because i would be discusted with the actions of the people, Get over it

  • Distinct community you say! Lived in Bristol all my life and Stokes Croft is not a nice place to be at all, at any time!

  • They do know the taxpayers paid for that police car right? its like you buying a new car and smashing it up cos you don't agree with something. GOOD JOB!

  • Boo fucking hoo. Let's go fucking mental. They kicked some squatters out! How dare the rightful owners kick us out! Riot! Stupid fucking un-washed. I bet you thick twats was buying your White lighting from tesco before you smashed it up. Hope you riot again it will be funny as fuck watching the police smash your heads in :P

  • Oh he he he, haw haw haw. Aren't you lot clever. Plenty of incriminating footage for the Police to review there. Well done cutloosecmp u dimlo!

  • Not a muslim not a paki not a black not an sack

  • could be a long weekend, all over the country!

  • Clearly many of the people involved haven't got jobs, families, careers etc. and were just up for a fight. If they're so against 'the system', they won't be requiring all of that benefit money..... Speaking as a Bristolian, and as part of the usually silent majority, Stokes Croft is nothing but a toilet and brings shame to our great city. The people who suggest there is a sub-culture around Stokes Croft should take their ideologies and practice as far away from Bristol as possible.

  • @999missymoo Here here! I walk through SC every week. It's a pit.

  • @999missymoo You're so wrong. I live in Stokes Croft and my brother works as an illustrator/sign writer in Hamilton House which was, until a few years ago, a disused office block. It's now a place for creative people to work and share ideas - there's a puppet maker, screen printing, fashion designing as well as numerous other artists, musicians and small businesses. People care about the independent nature of this community, which is a rare thing to find in inner city Britain I think.

  • @BeadlesGhostClaw Puppet maker? How frightfully middle class! Tell them to go and set up in Hartcliffe.

  • @999missymoo Traitor to our nation! Irrespective of what you think about the residents of Stokes Croft, giant corporations are destroying the fabric of our communites across Great Britian.

Do not forget that the previous owner of Tesco, Baroness Porter (now living in exile) was charged with gerrymandering and should she return to the UK, will be arrested. Such are the people who run large corporations such as Tesco.

  • the police didn't put tesco there in fact they are just there to protect the innocent in this rediculous riot squatters have no right to live for free and have no right at all to demand what shop goes where, and making petrol bombs to destroy a shop is totally wrong people live in the houses on this road innocent people could and where hurt because of squatters fighting for the right to live for free and get drunk and do drugs while the rest of society pays bills and taxes!

  • That's for every student who got beaten up, spat on and baton charged by the police on December 9th. No justice, no peace...

  • Comment removed

  • Basically, unless you're a middle class trustafarian squatter /student/lecturer you can fuck off! PRSC scum.....

  • lmao..wankers..call that a riot lmfao

  • OK, I agree with the cause but showing your face on camera??? DUH!

Also, can you imagine if we British had the right to bear arms? That'd tip the scales in the people's favour!

  • The world DOES NOT belong to the politicians or bankers, it belongs to the people. This video gives me great happiness to see young people reclaim their freedom and power over state oppression. Best!

  • Looks like fun guys. People have tried peaceful protest and simply got smashed over the head by the police. The government and corporations don't listen to the people, they just do what they want. Time to take back our freedom and the land they have stolen.

  • Ha ha ha ha!

  • To be serious for one minute, shall we all stop trying to pretend that we understand the backgrounds & motivations of a diverse group of people in a dis-ordered, chaotic and complicated situation; police, protesters or otherwise?

  • Protesting against TESCO??? Bet half these twats will shop in there anyway!!! Bigger things in life to protest about. Get a job as well.

They only moan when they lose to police. If you cause havoc and lose then accept it.

  • Protesting against TESCO??? Bet half these twats will shop in there anyway!!! Bigger things in life to protest about. Get a job as well

  • Send in armed police. Why are our brave soldiers trying to defend democracy when we have these scum at home? Cut there benefits and then maybe they will stop taking the ketamine.

  • Was it just me, or did Claire Milne on BBC news just imply that a threat of potential violence should be enough for a local council to refuse planning permission?

    What a deeply scary precedent.

  • I hope the Police collect all these videos and give you pricks what you deserve :) We, the hardworking Tax payers paid for those Police cars, how about you tree-loving-tesco-hating idiots get jobs, pay taxes an THEN see if you feel so big about what you've done.
