The way I was taught the legend was that Finn McCool built the Causeway to cross to Scotland, and a big giant there challenged him to a fight. Finn was scared and asked his wife Newla for help, and she told him to dress like a baby and get into a cot. The Scottish giant came over and saw the baby, and, thinking that the baby was massive, so the father must surely be enormous, went running back to Scotland, ripping up the causeway as he went. But I guess there's different versions.
A very entertaining and rewarding tour that is an adventure without even leaving your armchair!! The scenary is stunning and the sights shown here are well worth a visit!! This kind of remarkable landscape is what digital cameras were made for!! The background music also greatly adds to the enjoyment!!
this video is vomit inducing, and its a good representation of what life is like in ireland outside of Belfast. if it wasn't for belfast this country would be entirely unbarable.
Holy shit! I live here and Ive never seen this. I'm sitting in my uni room, and I've never been more satisfied from my bordom searches on youtube. I live in the Bushmills rectory of the church of ireland. :D
This by far is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. The scenery is magnificent. My favorite place in this vicinity is the tiny village of Cushendon. I thought I'd died and gone to brigadoon.
