Blair, Brown and this man, should be tried for treason, they have destroyed thousands of years of history, allowing mass numbers of immigrants to enter the UK, thus destroying the face of a once proud nation forever.
PLEASE VOTE e-petitions "No to 70 million" maybe our last say on the subject.
David Cameron's Defense policy, a seat for himself, his family and other Conservative and Lib Dem big wigs and their families on a requisitioned British Airways Boeing 777 departing London Heathrow destination Bermuda, before the first Iranian ten kiloton yield range nuke detonates over London. Put the Nimrod MRA4 in to service, keep the Harrier GR9 in service, maintain RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Kinloss as operational military airbases and kick Mr Cameron out of 10 Downing Street.
Yes he might be a prick, he is also working for the elite, and has elite blood himself as part of banking family. Promote China the communist world government for all. Sure, America had to capitalise it for the world to favour it. Now all is ok. Don't be fooled by his anti EU freedom talk speeches, load of crap.
david cameron you're a prick, not just being insultive but you're just a reminder of how useless and out of touch british politicians are, you are completely lost, in some ways its not your fault, all you do is jump from patronising issue to another with no real solutions.
left to Europe, China and india should still be begging the west for handouts, they dont need to open their markets they can do what they like, just as the UK and western powers did when they were on top. silly man
He was also a member of the student dining society the Bullingdon Club, which recently has obtained a reputation for a drinking culture associated with boisterous behaviour and damaging property usually in the private rooms of restaurants and pubs hired out to the club.
Tell us about reall government policies, climate change is the easiest thing you picked, and you won't shut up about it, everywhere we see you talk about it and to be honest we are bored of it.
Who cares what the Chinese do to their own people. The real problem is that most people in Britain are cheap and will gladly buy cheap foreign imports, thus screwing their own economy and countrymen. Shame on us.
Cont: It is pretty obvious that the likes of China and India are getting business becuase of a quite sick Western tactic of trying to dodge traid unions.
In terms of military power, influence, economic might, resources and technological superiority, there are only two rising powers.
1) THE EUROPEAN UNION 2) RUSSIA, the latter being key to any sort of power China has, especially in terms of technology and military gear.
No talks about human rights, 1989 Tienanmen Square or Tibetan freedom I see. It's good to see that we treat a poor Communist dictatorship like Cuba just the same as a rich one like China. But of course helping oppressed people just isn't worth the money, is it?
As long as China keeps on forcing children to make cheep products for us to buy, what do we care.
All paties are full of s**t. All hypocrits. The latest story about Tory MP`s employing their own family members is fine - if they`re the best candidates for the job - since they`re using my money ! If it`s their own money, then let them employ whom the hell they like. But it`s not their money.
LOL, don't be fooled by the name of the party, just because they called Labour. What about the Police, Army, Doctors and Nurses? I'm sure they'd give you a different opinion about 'caring for the working class'.
gosh, people really do write a load of crap when blinded by their political bias. At least Cameron is trying with China - all of the knee jerk Conservative haters had better wake up soon because China will rule the World within the next 20 years. Do you want to be friends or enemies ? the current UK society is unsustainable and like it or not the Chinese way will have enormous influence on the day to day life of the average Brit. but then The Brown One has just handed us all over to Europe
China has a fragile economy and is still a third world country in terms of living standards, only under ex-Soviet bloc influence would it be considered a second world country, its military technology is primitive, the Chinese admit this.
Any talk of the Chinese ruling the world at this stage in the game is ultimatly groundless and silly. If your objective is try and encourage people not to be hostile to China, claiming that they are going to take over the world is the dumbest thing to say.
Oh dear, I seem to have flushed someone who is in denial out of the woodwork.
The USA has already stepped in to the trap set by China. Have a look at Rob Newmans History of Oil, he presents the detail in a form that is both humourous and understandable by the weak of mind.
Make a note of todays date and remember it in 10 years time and see how the Chinese influence has grown.
While you are at it thank your God the Chinese came late to English and subsequently are slower in developing
The trap that turned the country into a sweatshop for Western corporations? Western style trade unions would force the Chinese economy to crumble, their political influence is very limited as they are not exactly trusted nor respected, they publicly backed down when North Korea started testing rockets.
This trend of insisting that China is going to take over the world is rather annoying, because it's ultimatly groundless.
If you want a new world power, look to the EU. Not China.
Its difficult to have this conversation in 500 character lumps.
Yes,China is abusing its populace to speed up its development from an Agri-economy to an indust-economy. However that abuse is achieving the end in that they have created a situation where they are rapidly building up the largest soveriegn fund of dollars on the planet. The are a long way down the road of owning the USA.
I agree that the only future the UK can have is as part of a EU superstate. Its also Browns unspoken strategy
It is difficult to be elaborate, so I will get to the point, your argument is that China is going to rule the world, which is quite frankly some sort of sick boogyman shock tactic, and totally far from the truth.
China 1) is not a developed country 2) could not effectivly support a middle class or an equal playing field in international economics, or else it would basically lose jobs left right and center 3) it has regular skirmishes with its rural population 4) it is a human rights nightmare
we are getting away from the point,Cameron should forge a working relationship with China. We can be critical of the way China is managing its development but a political leader has to deal with the world as it is not as we may wish it.Time will show where China will end up, What is fact, the US/China deficit is over 160 trillion and they are now quietly using this cash to buy strategic companies on the wests stock exchanges, badly managed capitalism does contain the seeds of its own destruction
The point was that you are basically saying "China is going to rule the world, and we should grovel before China so that they do not give us a rough deal when they take over the world".
Not only do I think this is cowardly, but I think that it is overly simplistic and quite frankly wrong.
Indeed, badly managed capitalism contains the seeds of its own destruction for example, China is inept at regulating new businesses in China and are already encountering signs of labour shortage.
Back to Cameron, if he, and consequently the rest of the UK is to succeed, He has to do what he is doing, recognise that the Wests belief that it has a God given right to rule the Planet is being challenged, the likely outcome of that challenge is that the influence exerted by China, economically & politically is growing rapidly. If we do not respond correctly then yes the Chinese will rule the World.
Cameron action shows that you should be close to your friends but even closer to your enemies
What the hell is this crap about the West thinking it has the right to rule the world? If the West wanted to rule the world it could rule the world by casually dismantling the militaries of all non Western countries in a week. It doesn't do this however, because it doesn't want to.
China's threat to the world is not military/political influence, but it flooding the world with crappy products, consuming too many resources and becoming economically important despite its famous economic instability
I write as someone who has been involved in International trade and relationships for 25 years, the opinions being voiced are getting a long way from the point.
Industrially China can manufacture as well as any other country in the World. Yes it cheats, lies, has no respect for intellectual property rights, has a terrible record on human rights but is succeeding by sheer weight of numbers and some very astute manouvering.
Cameron must deal with the World as it is, not as we may like it to be
I dont really care how much experience you claim to have, China isn't even looking like its going to be a superpower let alone the ruler of the world, in any sort of economic or military conflict it would literally get smashed to bits.
China gets business not because it produces qualitiy goods, nor because it produces quality workers, or is efficient, but because it works for less and is easily exploitable. This is a third world economic trend at the moment. China is not going to rule the world.
Says the guy who claimed that a technologically primitive, vicious, backwards country famous for treating its own people like garbage, is going to rule the world.
If China has any desires to rule the world, it quite frankly deserves to be utterly obliterated, and if David Cameron thinks that the Chinese are going to rule the world and that the most logical course of action is sucking up to them, then quite frankly, he does not deserve to be a British Politician.
for fuck sake cidseven is right you stupid toss bag and no it wont be a ruler cos there very run down and has a punny army compared to the western side and shall never unless the andes erupt rule this go for sakken earth and yes it is also that they are wasting loads and loads of resources on bloomin action men so no one is going to pick them so the only way there'll ever become a world leader is if they use force and that isn't an option for them. simple as!!
My objective isn't to defend trecherous British politicans, my objective is to challenge your claim that China is going to rule the world. Which it won't because it can't.
Quite right why should we have a sense of morality about who we trade with. As long as they only abuse their own people what do we care.
I do seriously wonder how far they have to go before they cross the line, after all they invade another sovereign country, they use military force to suppress a student demonstration and they force their children to work in sweat shops for 12 plus hours without sitting down and yet we don't care.
So what do they have to do? invade Poland I guess.
Regretably in modern Britain the vast majority just do not care what happens in the production of the goods they consume, just as long as they are cheap and available for instant gratification. It is economic pressure linked with a blind eye from the Authorities that results in child labour abuse, but hey what does that matter when a pair of trainers or a teeshirt can be bought for pennies.
You say Britain doesn't care, but neither does the rest of the world give a toss about us, a tiny dot on the map. Not the country we once were, now a bunch of narrow-minded government-propagandised go-nowheres thinking we're the centre of the world. Having lived in China, I am so impressed with their work ethic, long dead in Britain. The Chinese get out there & DO something to better themselves, be they 14 or 84 - admirable! What's WRONG with working at 14, or even 10, if that's the norm?
And the Cons would rather have us in in any relationship - esp.the master / puppy type - with any nation thousands of miles from us. Rather than Europe. Lets all become the latest of the US States. Of course that would be infinitely beter than engaging Europe. I don`t think so.
Of course I do think that its good to drum up more business with china. But don't forget the UK. I like how your proposing to get long term dole claimers to work doing community service, but I think you could go further. For instance we are going to have a big problem meeting targets for climate change, we should also think about using this massive potential work force to make things like wind turbines, wave power and solar cells in the uk.
how much free money for owning your own house do you want for the rest of your life david 50 000 a year, taken from the mineral wealth of the country and poverty handouts to those who have to mine it, of course they wont own there own house will they, there wages are taxed to pay for your policies

This is a nice series of videos about the trip. To answer the comments here, Cameron obviously was there to speak not just about climate change, but also China's pollution problem, it's trade issues, etc. One problem: How does one translate "opposition leader" into Chinese? ;-)
How can you be sure he didn't have a private plane? Well at least semi-private; the film crew and other Conservatives.. Either way, a video gets the message across a lot better

This is a nice series of videos about the trip. To answer the comments here, Cameron obviously was there to speak not just about climate change, but also China's pollution problem, it's trade issues, etc. One problem: How does one translate "opposition leader" into Chinese? ;-)

Wow
Traveling all the way to China to talk about global warming.
Working this out - thats 3017kg CO2 made by that flight alone.
Can't a phone call do the same thing?

@samaster1991 - That flight would have happened whether Dave was on it or not though....

How can you be sure he didn't have a private plane? Well at least semi-private; the film crew and other Conservatives.. Either way, a video gets the message across a lot better

I love how i get 2 thumbs down without a reply... Makes you wonder why words were invented doesn't it?

cmyanmar13 - this was per person , and the average flight is only 80% full
Zest85uk - see I was nice, thumbs up to get you to -1. He probably did fly private because his total staff cost to travel all through out 06/07 is £323 according to TheyWorkForYou
p.s. yeah yeah I marked my own comment as spam above cos I posted it in the wrong place
