@matthewdoucette I can't remember exactly, it just sounds so familiar and that was the first thing that came to mind when I heard it. Maybe I'm just imagining it...
@matthewdoucette Now that I think about it, I think it was a mini game on the "Introductory Cassette". You take aim at a space invaders style alien and if you hit it, it returns to the top of the screen, or it moves down if you miss. When you lose (alien reaches the bottom) it plays the sound. I can't find a video of it, so maybe I will make one some time.
Is it really a six year old or is that an excuse for an average performance? ;-)
I completely forgot about this game though. Downloaded and played the trial and forgot to buy it when I had the points. Gonna have to get on that!

The sound when the ball respawns reminds me of an Acorn Electron game.
