dave brown was really tough but was not respected by the players of his era. truth is he played for the pension and thats it. my cousin grew up with dave andreychuk and we got all the inside gossip from the league then. and after the game when he pounded on jim kyte when he was down, his own team wouldnt speak to him. very dirty and cheap fighter. like when he came out to fight nilan with no shirt or equipment. guys probably a huge drunk now. but he was the original mangler
Jay Miller and Bob Probert were better fighters who fought much tougher guys than Dave'the jumper' Brown! HALF A FOOT TALLER THAN EVERYONE HE FOUGHT AND STILL NEEDED EVERY EDGE HE COULD GET! PUSSY!
Brown and Domi only fought once, it would have been a good fight but Brown was wearing and oversized jersey and it came off and Domi never had anything to hold onto and Brown had the advantage, so Brown's jersey came off too.
@hockeystruth 'Actually they fought 4 times. 3 of the fights are on youtube. I would say 2 Brown won and the other 2 were VERY close, probably ties. BTW I'd say Schyltz, Probert, Brown, Boogard, Brashear...in that order.
@tat2drich ...that's not true bob probert and brown (flyers) only ever fought twice (2x), 1st fight was a none fight brown jumped probert and they just hugged each other, probert had fought and beat scott melanby in the same game....Then the 2nd fight brown (oilers) had jumped probert and probert beat brown bad, pounding brown to the ice and that was already after probert had been in a fight with and beat jeff buekabuem in the same game. Youtube has several of the same fight videos.
When it came to fighting a true heavyweight like Probert, Brown always looked for some type of an unfair advantage, like jumping them from behind and start whaling on his opponent before they even knew they were in a fight, this happened in both altercations between Brown and Probert, the 1st fight wasn't a fight at all, brown was scared to trade with Probert after he realized that he couldn't knock Probert down when he jumped him and the 2nd fight Probert kicked Brown's ass.
Brown never fought the true heavy weights like probert did, when brown fought semenko, semenko beat brown, probert knocked semenko to the ice and beat the crap out of him when they fought, brown is not even in probert's class as a fighter
@hockeystruth Probert fought tougher guys indeed such as Twist,Tocchet,Ewen,Kocur,Richter,Wilson,Clark,McGill,ect...Brown as lots of wins against bums such as Russell,Mackay,Jennings,Frowley,Kyte,Caufield,Buskas...mere punching bags.
Probert was never on steroids, he was caught and admitted to drinking alcohol and using cocaine. At this time Probert was just a better fighter and he gave it to Brown. That's it, no excuses.
@hockeystruth fucking retard he won because his jersey come out and brown had nothing to hold on.LOL another punk probet nuthugger at least dave brown did not lost to guys like crwoder belanger ewen domi or twist LOL
oh bullshit! Brown could never beat Probert! Brown is only good because he has that reach. He can swing, but that reach gives him the edge. He is a big bully on 5'10" guys too. Probert isn't. Probert protects linemates when he has to. Brown could not beat Probert, Kocur, Craig Coxe (he jumped him), Zdeno Chara or Georges Laraque.
@misterb0071 LMFAO LMFAO LMFAO chara and laraque played AFTER HIM he raped coxe and beat probert one fuck you know nothing about fights he fought clay miller ed semenko
i love probert but brown was unlucky and had nothing to hold onto hence he lost brown wuld have won the fight brown was more technical and dirtier hence hes likes 150 wins and 5 losses LOL
@khav11 Brown more technical? Not at all. He just pounded guys down to the ice. Probert was by far the more technical fighter (he slipped punches like a boxer which makes sense since he did box). It's odd however that here Probert pounds Brown silly. I would have thought that this fight would be more like the Probert McSorley marathon.
@SCROGY scrogy please we had several disputes before dont extend this one i say dave brown is the #1 heavyweight over history whatever you say his record speaks for itself hes like 25 wins / one lose ratio ,period
@khav11 When was Probert on steroids, and where is your proof? And how do you know what Brown did or didn't do? As far as I know Probert never took steroids. And why is taking steroids even an issue?
@SCROGY steroids gives you uber strenght you should know we had a discussion before. and and it gave probert an unfair advantage brown over probert Easy as top 1 fighter guess why steroids are not allowed during olympics comps or any fight leagues etc etc....period
@khav11 But I am asking you where did you get that Probert was on steroids? I have never heard of him getting caught.
And remember fighting is against the rules in hockey. So even if you're taking steroids, who cares? It just helps you be better at something that is illegal in the first place.
@buttkick22 the only way probert could won against brown was shirtless. as shown here! brown beat him in a fair match probert beat him in a unfair match. get real faggot
@SCROGY ok listen probert fanboy. every old timers i speak with do agree and accept the fact that the only way probert could win. was without his jeyrsey to overcame big brown. thats why he won there. but he got beat in their first match 1-1 probert got 3/1 win/loss ratio brown more than 12/1 right on top of the list with chris simon. enough said.
@khav11 I don't give a crap what "old timers" say. I am telling you how it is: Probert lost his jersey because he was GOOD AT IT. It is a legit tactic and he mastered it. Nobody else did it because they couldn't without getting dropped or pulled to the ice. And he won plenty of fights with it on. You still haven't explained why it's ok for Brown to wear a small jersey that was skin tight around his sleeve but not ok for Probert to let his come off when some guy was pulling on it.
@khav11 And Brown won that first fight? Really because I didn't even see a fight. I saw two guys dancing because one (Brown) was too affraid to do anything like let go of Proberts arm and throw down. Bobby proved who was king in the rematch. That was a REAL FIGHT and a one sided ass kicking.
@SCROGY obviously a probert biased fanboy cant argue with that. only ppl who knows hockey will understand that brown was the tougher fighter better chin better damage. probert with his cheap technique when his jersey comes out....laughable. domi and probert admitted the toughest fighter they fought was brown oh yeah scrogy for you one fight says it all! how about the fight probert lost to belanger. and its not an one sided ass kicking if probert felts kicks of browns first LOLLLLLLL owned
@khav11 There wasnt even a punch thrown in the first match...you talk about the Jersey tactic? yeah its called gaining an advantage, Mcsorley used to wear goalie jerseys, Kordic had removable sleeves....Brown took a different approach to gain an advantage....He would usually throw 3-4 left hands before the other guy was ready..Brown was tough no question and everyone has their opinion...But most hockey people who followed that era including myself will tell you Probert was #1 overall.
@khav11 Im a fan of hockey, not no fanboy of anyone...well maybe Mcsorley....therefore Im unbias and can make an intelligent opinion...by your ignorant/imature comment tells me I hurt your feelings since youre a Brown Fanboy...and when you love a fighter that much, you simply dont hear the facts...Probert was a humble guy and would give credit to other fighters..Bottom line, Probert had the edge overall against Brown, and while were at it...so did my boy Mcsorley
@khav11 Wow man. Youre all over youtube defending Brown hahaha. Now I realize why ya cant see that Mary edged em out in a PIT uniform. Probert was slightly a better fighter than Brown, and fought more often. Both guys rate as top notch enforcers to me. But Probert was perhaps the best of all time in his prime. No need for insults. It dont help much for ppl to agree with ya. Its has quite the opposite effect.
@khav11 browns jersey would come up too. But he also worse an undersized jersey with en exceptionally tight left sleeve that was almost impossible to tie tie up. He was also a notorious jumper. He would just start wailing on guys. But i guess you conveniently never noticed any of that. A true fanboy in every sense of hte word haha
@buttkick22 brown fought without his jersey when he was raged per exemple against odelein, cronin once but rarely happens probert did it on a regular basis
I remember this game, probie was at the end of a long shift and brown was fresh on the ice and crossed checked probie from behind and started whaling on him. Probie lost his balance when he stepped on a stick, not like the annoucer said that he wanted to go down. Probie turned around and gave brown the worst beating I have ever seen brown get from anyone in the nhl. Probie with the TKO win. RIP Probie.
One last thing: how pathetic is it to block a user when he's handing you your ass? That's like getting in a fight and then running down the street crying. What are you afraid of? You know what? I won't block you just because I want to see if you can do better than the sad and pathetic job you've done so far.........Good luck.
I'm a huge Brown fan, but Probert buckled his knees twice. Losing the jersey had alot to do with it though. Clear win Probert, as much as it pains me to say it :)
@Tarbash7 Really? I believe what you are doing is called speculating without evidence. Brown got beat down badly. He was dropped and based on who had the best cardio and the direction the fight was taking I would argue that things only would have gotten worse for Brown had the refs NOT stepped in to save his ass.
@SCROGY No. You judge a fight based on the WHOLE fight. The end was Probert, the beginning was Brown. Tie. But since Brown had a better beginning then Probert's ending, maybe Brown.
You are telling me if Mayweather knocked Pacquiao down twice in the beginning of the fight and Pacquiao knocked Mayweather down once at the end, the judges would give Pacquiao the win because he was the last one to knock someone down? No. Unless it is a KO, judges judge the whole fight. Same here. Brown wasn't KO'd.
@MrHannan1992 Except your example is moot because Brown didn't knock Probert down twice. And yes points SHOULD be given for coming on strong at the end. They did this in Pride fighting for INDIVIDUAL rounds. It's a sign of a better conditioned fighter. It doesn't matter if you come out and throw a few punches and then fade. All that proves is that you either don't have heart or conditioning. Any Pud can start a fight and quickly land a few and then hold on.
@MrHannan1992 ............And that's what a lot of so called tough guys did in the NHL. Hell Mick Vukota admitted this was his strategy. Land a few then calf rope the guy. Because he was scared to keep on fighting. Probert was KNOW for letting guys tire themselves and then coming on strong. Unfortunately the refs often stopped the fights when he started pounding guys after the 1 minute mark. OK fair enough. Then let the fight continue and we'll see who the real fighter is.
@SCROGY See who the real fighter is? I am sorry but Brown is a better fighter than Probert without a doubt. It isn't as obvious here, but Brown hasn't lost like Probert has before. Brown is the best fighter to ever fight in Hockey. I'm not even sure Probert would be second the way Domi handled him once. But anyway, finishing strong is important, but if you start off weak, you spend the rest of the fight playing "catch up."
@MrHannan1992 Brown lost plenty. He lost to Jay Miller and Probert just to name a few. Brown was also known to jump guys. He jumped Miller in the rematch after losing their first fight badly. There are all kinds of WW MMA fighters that are undefeated. Does that make them better than GSP? Nope. And Domi didn't HANDLE Probert in the first fight at all. At the end Tie is trying to GET AWAY from Probert while Bob is still punching. Tie QUIT in that fight but people seem to forget that.
@SCROGY You are too much of a Probert fan to try and talk with you. If we went through a list of fights lost by both Probert and Brown, Probert's would be longer. But Probert could get knocked out blood everywhere and you would probably say something like "The fact that Probert is alive proves he won the fight" However you see it, Domi won the first fight between them two, and beat him once after that. Probert beat Domi too but they called that fight "reclaiming the title" because he lost to him
@MrHannan1992 dude, I don't care if you think I am a Probert fan. The fact is that he beat Brown silly in the rematch and made Brown quit in this one. Go back and watch the Domi fight again and you'll see tie trying to get the hell out of there at the end because he was gassed and Probert was pounding him. I also don't care what "they said" because they don't fight. Probert made Tie quit and run away. Probert won that first fight because he was still fighting when Tie wanted out of it.
@SCROGY He never beat Brown "silly." neither of them beat the other "silly." Beating someone silly is a unanimous decision with clear winner with NO discussion. Your definition of beating someone silly is very shallow.
And exactly how do you know Probert isn't tired? Are yours and his hearts attached so you feel what he feels? No. So to say he isn't tired when others are is completely disregarded. You have nothing to prove for that.
@MrHannan1992 He landed several hard shots to Browns face and dropped him. That was a clear win for Probert.
I know Probert isn't tired because he fights for FAR longer than this in most of his fights. There is nothing in Proberts fighting history that could lead you to the assumption that his IS tired. You see that's how it works. You base a conclusion on past evidence, and Probert up to this point was known for easily fighting for far longer than this. In fact he usually bides.........
@SCROGY I am not saying he is tired, I am saying you have no way of knowing or feeling whether or not he is tired. That is just a fact. Another fact is no, your grandmother couldn't slam him harder, you are just ignorant if you believe so. It's not luck, it is Probert being a dumb fuck not watching where he is going, it's his fault, not Crowder's fault for busting him open after he fell. Just stop typing, I would tell you to go suck Probert's dick but it is decomposed so I don't know. Just stop.
@MrHannan1992 Now you're just being an asshole like every other guy that watches these fights. Keep it civil or don't bother tough guy. WTF is with you hockey fight fans? You can't debate without pulling this big mouth act like you think you some bad ass because you watch hockey fights. The people I know would fuck up the toughest hockey players without even breaking a sweat. So unless you want to act like a man fuck off.
@SCROGY Sorry but being an asshole is the only way I seem to get through to stubborn, biased opinions like yours.
You don't know anyone personally that would beat Laraque (who's retired) or Boogaard or Engelland or Brashear (who's retired too) in a hockey fight. Sorry, but that is just another fact. EVEN ON THE OFF CHANCE, that your buddies would get LUCKY ENOUGH to knock down someone like Iginla, they would MOST DEFINITELY break a sweat. Your whole comment is just shallow and retarded.
@MrHannan1992 Ummmm who said "in a hockey fight"? Did I say that ANYWHERE? No. I don't play hockey. Haven't since I was younger, I've been doing BJJ for about 8 years now and MA for about 10 (I'm a BJJ purple belt). The guys I train with are pretty high level fighters (a couple have been in the world rankings at one time or another). So don't assume things. Secondly, you were doing really well. You had been courteous and receptive of courtesy. But now this boorish tough guy act.........
@SCROGY This is a video about a HOCKEY FIGHT. Why wouldn't we talk about hockey fights? If you want to talk about another sort of fight, go on other videos and chat it up there with your MMA buddies. But this is a hockey fight video, so from now on, I am talking about who can beat who on skates. Keep up?
I don't care if Laraque is as tough as Miley Cyrus when the skates come off, we are talking about hockey, changing the subject would leave me to believe you have hit a wall in your argument.
@MrHannan1992 ............no no no. It won't do. You see when some one gets angry and starts throwing insults around it means they have been defeated in the debate and are resorting to logical fallacies (most often Ad Hominen attacks or as it's better known: "argument to the man") because they have nothing left to go with. Argument to the man usually means you have no evidence to support your claim (I provided evidence that Probert wasn't tired by citing his past fight history) so you.......
@MrHannan1992 ........begin attacking the person you are debating with instead of his arguments. It's the surest sign that you know you've lost the debate. Now if you would like to continue this debate in a civil fashion I would welcome it. If not then please drop it. And for the record I can assure you that the people I know would fuck up any hockey player in a real fight.
@SCROGY Please right logically if you are going to talk to me or don't comment at all. You just sound really dumb saying stupid shit like your friends could fuck up Colton Orr without trying...
@MrHannan1992 They could. You don't know who my friends are or what they do. They ARE fighters, not hockey players. Just because you can fight on the ice doesn't make you a tough guy when the skates come off. I respect hockey players and love all types of fighting, but the toughest guy in the NHL would get destroyed by any half way decent mixed martial artist in less than 30 seconds.
@SCROGY And less then 30 seconds? I would easily bet you millions on Laraque being able to stay in the ring for longer than 30 seconds on any of your friends. I don't know your friends, we don't really know Laraque. Unless they have fought before you can't say shit about it.
I guess you are going to nip me in the butt by saying something about my capitalization now, right? Since you probably know I'm right. Kind of like you did last post.
@MrHannan1992 Nope. He'D get taken down and submitted in probably LESS than 30 seconds. There's a video of him JUST wrestling (no striking or submissions) with GSP a guy that's 40 lbs smaller than him and he gets tooled. Now what do you think would happen if GSP was punching and kicking and trying to submit Laraque? GSP is being NICE to George in that video. If he wanted to really fuck Laraque up it would have taken a matter of seconds.
@SCROGY GSP is way different than your friends. I am sure your friends are cool and great at what they do, but really, GSP is a whole different level of fighting then your friends are. Sorry, but if I don't know your friends, then that's fact. GSP > your friends. That is why Laraque got taken down in a handful of seconds. Your friends are not GSP; thus, I still think it would take longer than 30 seconds.
I am not saying Laraque would win, but he can last 30 SECONDS for sure.
@MrHannan1992 What difference does that make? I have friends that are Olympic alternate wrestlers/BJJ world champions. They could teach GSP wrestling/BJJ. That still doesn't change the fact that they are high level pro MMA fighters and would fuck up pretty much ANY hockey player you put in front of them. Don't change the subject into GSP vs my friends. YOU made the claim that Laraque would "last" longer than 30 seconds. He wouldn't. Not a chance in hell. Taken down and subbed in seconds.
@SCROGY I'm not changing the subject. You said GSP could take down Laraque in less than 30 seconds because of that one video. I said yes. GSP can, your friends, can not. Just read what I write ONCE. Please.
And your scenario is different. The other guy is trying to win as well, that is why he would get subbed in seconds. If you tell Laraque just to survive longer than 30 seconds, a lot of people can. I am not saying Laraque would win, he would survive longer than 30 seconds if that was his goal
@MrHannan1992 Dude. You aren't getting it are you? GSP is NOT an Olympic alternate for wrestling. He's an MMA fighter with very good wrestling. I know wrestlers that could teach GSP wrestling. They are better wrestlers by far. They would take Laraque down easier than GSP. MMA fight? That's different. I also train with Judo black belts that have thrown Olympic caliber Judokas. Laraque would stand no chance of staying on his feet for 30 seconds, unless he literally ran away.
@SCROGY Fuck it, running away means staying up for 30 seconds. If you told him to last 30 seconds and that is what he had to do, he would do it and last 30 seconds. Laraque still is 6'3 265 pounds and has some knowledge about fighting. NOT SAYING HE WOULD WIN. saying he would survive a handful of seconds.
@MrHannan1992 Do you train MMA? Consider this: A really good grappler can beat a good kick boxer in seconds. All kinds of guys have been subbed in MMA fights in under 30 seconds. And those guys were MMA fighters with some knowledge of the game. You even put a BJJ purple belt against Fabrico Werdum or Demian Maia and he'd get subbed in seconds. Now how in Gods name is a hockey player with ZERO knowledge of BJJ/wrestling (or even good stand up) going to keep from getting fucked up? He isn't.
@MrHannan1992 I'll nip you in the"BUD" (that's the saying....not "BUTT") about using the proper words. If you want to drop this stupid grammar war, do it now, and I'll agree to it. Deal?
@MrHannan1992 ...........please don't attempt to correct me if you're going to use "right" where you should be using "WRITE"...............you sound really dumb doing stupid shit like that..............;)
@SCROGY You don't know who your friends can fuck up unless you see them fight. Another fact.
If you are going to correct me about grammar, try actually putting the question marks and punctuation inside the quotation marks, it is grammatically where they go. If you are going to argue like that, we could do this all day. How about you just stick to the topic we are talking about. Now you REALLY sound like you are out of logical arguments if you are turning into grammar police. I can do that too.
@MrHannan1992 Yeah Yeah. You're going to sit there and pretend guys that train their whole lives in MMA can't beat a hockey player while fighting on their feet? And I suppose you need to see Wayne Gretzky play hockey against George St Pierre to know Wayne is going to outscore him in hockey? Dream on dude.
@SCROGY Honestly, Tom Glavine, the retired pitcher from the mets and braves, was the second pick for the NHL behind the great mario lemieux. Luc Robitaille was also in that draft in a later round. So, you say that i have to see gretzky play GSP in hockey to find out who is better? My answer is this.
We don't know if Tom Glavine would have been a better hockey player than baseball player. And we don't know if he would have been better than Robitaille UNTIL WE SEE IT PHYSICALLY.
@MrHannan1992 You're totally wrong. You're making the assumption that an athlete in one sport can cross over and immediately be good in another having never done it. That's completely false. Some have one it but for the most part they weren't even close to being among the better players in both sports. It takes a lifetime of practicing a skill like skating or shooting to even dream of making the NHL, let alone being good and let alone being able to even carry Mario Lemieuxs jock strap.......
@SCROGY Tom Glavine played hockey. He was projected the second draft pick in the 1984 draft. He was GREAT at both sports. And those sports are totally different. So I could say Tom Glavine is better than Lemieux, but we wouldn't know unless we saw it. Tom Glavine was considered better than Luc Robitaille and a lot of other greats in college. But we won't know how great he would have been unless he played, which he didn't. Same goes for all scenarios.....
@SCROGY ...Brock Lesnar played football for the Minnesota Vikings, and was an MMA champion. Jeremy Yablonski is a minor league tough guy in hockey, and won his first mma fight in seconds and is pretty good at mma. Hockey players believe it or not use mma training to help them fight. Riley Cote is another one. So acting like hockey players are helpless without skates on is a stupid thing to assume. Some hockey players can beat some mma fighters. And its happened before. Get over it.
@MrHannan1992 Brock beat a bunch of puds and a 45 year old man. As soon as he ran into a good fighter he got destroyed. And he was a wrestler BEFORE he played football. So if anything he carried his fighting art over to football, not the other way around. Wrestling is a HUGE part of MMA and is actually being dominated by wrestlers right now because of the rule set. So in truth he was training for a major aspect of MMA since he was a kid.
@SCROGY And what about the hockey players and musicians and actors? Fucking DMX was about to do MMA.. DMX, are you kidding me? the retarded rapper was getting into that.
@MrHannan1992 ................sure Bo Jackson did it (but he was nowhere near being among the best in either sport), but baseball and football, for the most part, don't carry the specialized skill sets that sports like Hockey and or MMA do. If you don't grow up skating and fighting there is pretty much zero chance you will be able to get really good at it late in your athletic life. You certainly aren't going to be beating ANY good MMA fighter in a fight just because you're a hockey enforcer.
@SCROGY Oh and by the way, I guess I wasn't clear. This is a hockey fight video, I hardly give a shit who can beat who on the street, if it isn't on skates, I don't want to hear about it. Seriously, please tell me you can comprehend that? Hockey fight video, so all fight scenarios can stay on the ice. You probably don't understand but it is worth a try.
@MrHannan1992 Except once again YOU made the claim that Laraque could last longer than 30 seconds in a fight against a top level MMA fighter. He'd get KO'd or taken down and submitted in a matter of seconds. There isn't even a shred of doubt about it. I'm sorry but what is your knowledge of BJJ wrestling and Muay Thai? Do you have any knowledge of those things that let's you make claims about the people that practice them? If you do, fine. But you have not indicated such.
@SCROGY I love how you act like Laraque is a feeble bitch when the skates come off. If you tell him to last 30 seconds and he would win money or something for doing it, I can bet that he would last 30 seconds in an MMA ring. Believe it or not, MMA fighters aren't untouchable. Look it up, plenty of football players and hockey players go into MMA and do just fine. Actors have become MMA fighters and musicians even have....
@MrHannan1992 Sure, they do fine fighting other puds and amatures. When they fight someone good they get destroyed. And the fact is that before they step into the cage they spend a lot of time training for it. They don't just leave the ice and start fighting in a cage. NO ONE DOES. Most of them work for a significant amount of time wrestling, kick boxing and doing BJJ. When one of them actually does something significant, then you'll have a point.
@MrHannan1992 Man you just can't seem to get the fact that YOU are the one that started all this. YOU started the name calling and YOU stared the grammatical nit picking (and you were wrong when you actually DID start it which is the funny part). YOU told me to "right" legibly. If you didn't want a debate on grammar and punctuation, why did you start one? If you want me to stick to hockey fights, then stick to hockey fights and don't START the insults and don't START a war about grammar.
@SCROGY And if anything is hypothetical, please stop writing it? Who cares if Laraque would lose to your macho friends in a hypothetical fight. It will never happen, so we will never know. Just stop. Your hypothetical shit is getting a little crazy. Who cares who COULD beat who. If it hasn't physically happened, we will never know.
@MrHannan1992 Once again, the points were valid. You claimed that Brown made this huge slam against Probert. It was a tiny little shove into the glass. I said that isn't a slam and anyone that thinks it is HAS NO IDEA what a slam is. I said if you want to see a hard slam watch a particular MMA fight (to demonstrate it). You then continued to wrongly insist it was a hard slam. It was nothing but a little shove.
@SCROGY Laraque can't last with GSP, your friends, he can. I know they are your friends, so you think they are the shit at everything they do and that's understandable, but come on
And a slam can be a lot of things. In scripts for movies it will say: *man slams guy up against a wall* and it looks just like what Brown did. Slam to you is pick him up by the legs 10 feet in the air and drive him into the ground. When in reality, you can just slam some up against a wall....
@MrHannan1992 Dude you don't get it do you? The guys I train with are world class fighters. Some have been ranked top ten (and even top 3 in one case) in the world at one time or another, and were champions in smaller organizations like TKO and UCC. I don't know what your mental picture of them is but you really have no idea how good these guys are. Two of them have fought the best fighters in their weight class in the world (one of the guys my instructor fought is a current UFC champ).
@SCROGY Unless I see your friends and meet you, I would never believe you. Internet arguments hardly use personal life shit. Did I mention I am a black belt 300 pound muscular 6'8 black guy who toured the world fighting the each countries best?
I could be lying just as much as you are. We would never know unless we see it. This is an internet argument, so stop telling me about your pathetic fairy tale of a life okay? I won't believe it.
@MrHannan1992 Look at my profile. You think I spend that much time searching for BJJ and wrestling and grappling techniques on you tube just to pretend to be a grappler? If I was an internet wanna be I would have started calling you a pussy immediately, then said something about your mom and then called you on. Believe me I have seen enough wanna bes on this site and dealt with them to tell you that they have a modus operandi that is almost exactly the same from one to the next.
@MrHannan1992 The funniest part is that so many guys on these hockey fight vids just jump right into the insults and the "I banged your mom" and "you're my bitch" stuff it's not even funny. Seriously. But to be honest it's just as bad on the MMA videos. You disagree with some 18 year old turd and the next thing you know he's going off the deep end. I guess it's ok to do that when they are nice and safe behind their computer.
@SCROGY If you would seriously hit me or get physical over this kind of an argument, then you have bigger issues than I thought. Honestly, I am 6'1 and 160 pounds. Nothing special. You would probably hammer into me, but seriously? If we had this argument face to face as opposed to "safe behind my computer," you would hit me? Get self control big guy.
Again, no where did I say that. I said wanna be's on these hockey videos seem to always threaten you when you try to debate with them. Where do you get that I insinuated that I would hit you or get physical? I don't threaten people over the internet. That's IS a sure sign of a keyboard warrior. I got know why you are getting so confused with my posts here.
@SCROGY You are getting just as confused. I say "you can't tell if he is tired." and you see it as "Probert is hands down tired." ORRR "write logically" as "write legibly with correct grammar." So if you don't see how I am getting confused, just figure out how you are getting confused and tag it to me as well, okay?
@SCROGY If you didn't mean that you would hit me if I wasn't behind a safe computer, then why the fuck did you write that comment? That was not AT ALL related to ANYTHING we were talking about.
Seriously, answer that. What was the point of writing that?
@MrHannan1992 Because it wasn't referring to you. It was referring to those wanna be's that insult people because they are safe behind their computers. That did not refer to you at all. It was an explanation of how some people get on You tube.
@SCROGY If it wasn't referring to me, it really had no business being typed. It was just a random general comment about nothing we were talking about.
@MrHannan1992 ..............and my point was that that "slam".....as you call it that Brown did was about as insignificant a slam as you can find. It was nothing. Don't attempt to attach some significance to it. It was nothing. As a matter of fact Probert was skating backwards as he usually does in his fights when he's tied up and more skated into the boards than was pushed by Brown.
@SCROGY The term slam is an appropriate word here. There are different levels of the word, but it still can be considered one. I didn't say, "superfantastically hard lightning powerful slam." I just said slam, I am allowed to use that word.
@MrHannan1992 But Probert has always skated backwards when he's tied up. Watch his other fights. Brown looks like he's holding on. Probert has a history of skating backwards in his fights. You're placing some significance on something that is utterly meaningless in the fight. I could argue that Probert was pulling Brown around and thus showed he was in control.
@SCROGY You would argue that because you loved Probert. You've made that very clear. I like both equally, and you can see Brown pull Probert's shirt over his head, look more confident in his punches, and Probert has his head down trying to free the grip of Brown as Brown is right in his face talking shit. Brown was in total control. Probert didn't skate backwards into the glass, Brown shoved him into it. If Probert skated into it, he's even clumsier than I thought, but I don't think he did.
@SCROGY ....Slam is an aggressive word. Maybe that is why you are so fucking butt hurt over the word choice. But what he did can be considered a slam, not a hard slam, but a slam at that. I'm sorry as a Probert fan you hate to see that happen to him, but it happened. Wasn't bad or anything. Just a slam. And I didn't insist it was a, "hard slam." I insisted it was a slam. Don't add the word hard if I didn't say it. Brown slammed Probert.
@MrHannan1992 It was nothing and certainly had no outcome in the fight, but you tried to suggest it did. It was utterly meaningless in the course of the fight.
@SCROGY All I can really say is look at my bio, and look at what your doing. I put that as my bio one of the first times I used youtube. It explains everything I feel.
@MrHannan1992 And you're not? You're engaging in assumption based on nothing and committing logical fallacies (ie Red Herring). I'd have some respect for your opinion if you provided evidence (as with the claim that Probert was tired) but you didn't. I don't really care who wins. I like all fighters. In fact I don't actually even like hockey any more because there's no more fighting. But this was a nothing fight and no one won. It wasn't enough of a fight to even declare a winner.
@SCROGY Yes but how you know Brown won is this. IF YOU HAD to pick a winner, who would it be? Only Probert fans are going to say he won. That is how you know Brown won. It was a fight, a weak one at that, but a fight. There must be a winner and a loser. These ones are no different. Brown won that one.
@MrHannan1992 But you're making assumptions again. You are assuming Probert fans would pick Probert while Brown fans would pick...........I don't know. Your reasoning here suggests that Brown fans would pick the other guy so that proves Brown won. You really didn't think that through. And As I said I am a fan of all fighters. I am looking at this as someone who has competed in fighting and lost a few. The first fight was so God awful that I wouldn't even pick a winner................
@SCROGY Brown fans would pick Brown. But a third party viewer like me would pick Brown too. All of my friends agree, and they don't give a fuck. Some don't watch hockey. If a winner had to be made, it would be Brown by most people. I agree with you that there was no winner, but if you had to pick one, who would it be? honest answer.
@MrHannan1992 ........I would pick Probert because I look at who wanted to keep fighting. Like I said I don't care how well you did at the start of a fight. It's how you finish that matters, unless you utterly destroyed the guy up to the last few seconds and he was only beginning to come back, then that's different. Brown threw a few meaningless punches and then held on. To me he quit. I think Bob wanted to get his hands free and throw. Brown looked like he wanted to hold on...........
@SCROGY Oh so you base winners off of what MIGHT HAVE happened. Seems a little ridiculous but I guess that is your prerogative. Most people tend to base who won off of what actually happened. Which is why I said that most people think Brown won. I think you're right, I think Probert had he gotten free would have maybe won. But he didn't. Thus, Brown got the W to most people.
@MrHannan1992 Well you can look at it as Brown quitting. Yes he did throw at the start but then if you want to talk about what happened, then I argue that Brown quit. And if you quit in a fight you can never be declared the winner. Again that's why I give Probert the win in the first Domi fight. No matter what Domi did in that fight he lost because he quit. Had Domi kept punching at the end I would have given him the win. But I don't give wins to guys who quit.
@SCROGY Probert is the best fighter to ever play hockey and a God at that. Absolutely amazing. The only way he loses is if he beats himself.
Probert takes a shit standing up. Probert doesn't sleep, he waits. Probert isn't big, he's enormous. Probert gets more girls than the Playboy Mansion. Probert beat the shit out of Adam and Eve. Probert's sweat makes Santa's reindeer fly.
Is that what you want to hear? I don't know you are impossible
P.S I thought of those by myself and proud secretly
@SCROGY I posted that before you posted yours so you can disregard that if you like lol...I see it as they both won one. So it is too hard to judge besides their other fights against other people. Brown never lost to Domi. Domi has beaten Probert. Even though he slipped, Probert lost to Twist and a few others. This fight is probably the worst Brown has ever been in terms of the receiving end of a fight. Probert, however, has taken worse beating to the point of blood. Brown never bled.
@MrHannan1992 Fair enough, but I think Jay Miller gave it to Brown pretty good in their first fight too. I think Brown had a bloody nose in that first Miller fight IIRC.
@SCROGY Oh yeah I just saw it. It took me four tries before I found the right one. The other ones were Brown beating Miller. But yeah it looks like his nose might have bled, hard to tell which pixel is which in the video but I think he got him. I guess if you go after a person so many times eventually you will catch him.
@MrHannan1992 I had that on an old Bruins fight tape. I though he was bleeding but I wasn't sure. The commentator indicated he was though. I though Miller won but not as decisively as they were talking. I gave him a slight edge, but you'd think he killed Brown the way they were talking. I think that was the Philly broadcast too so.........
@SCROGY Well Philly feed is pretty even. New York feeds and other local feeds always think their person won. Like if you look up Carcillo vs Gaborik. The NY feed is practically cursing at Carcillo because they said Carcillo "attacked Gaborik" when in the video you see Gaborik clearly shove carcillo and drop a glove first. Philly feed is always even
And I guess if they said he got beat bad then it's true. I mean, he did take a lot of punches. But yeah Brown won too many times previous of that
@MrHannan1992 Boston was the worst. Derek Sanderson was the biggest homer of all. That's what surprised me. This was the Philly feed and they admitted Brown lost. I think it was closer than they scored it but yeah Miller won. Brawn smashed him in the rematches though. KO'd him in Edmonton too.
Actually this was their first fight if I am not mistaken. Brown won pretty much all the rematches if not ALL.
@SCROGY I tried to find that one but couldn't. I found one of McSorley on Penguins but he lost to Brown. Then one of him on the Kings but he lost that one too. I am going to keep looking...I know I will find it! lol
There's no doubt Brown was one of the best and may have actually lost fewer fights than Probert (I think Proberts style of biding his time led him to lose more simply because the refs broke his fights up before giving him a chance to come back). Brown pounded people into the ice quickly). But Probert beat Brown, so it's hard to argue Brown was the best when Probert beat him decisively.
@MrHannan1992 ...........and that's also why I think Domi lost the first fight; HE QUIT. He was trying to get the hell out of there while Probert was still pounding him. I don't care if Domi cut him, shot his dog, robbed his house and raped his mother, Domi quit and when you quit you forfeit everything positive you have done in the fight to that point. And to be honest my friends wouldn't even judge a garbage fight like the first Brown Probert fight. They'd likely say: "That was a fight?".
@SCROGY They went to the box 5 minutes FOR FIGHTING. Regardless of what your friends think, it was a fight, plain and simple. That is a fact. As for Domi quitting, you being a Probert fan, you use the word quit. While Domi fans would say "re-establishing position."
You can put any spin on it you won't. I think he is running too, but you can argue that he is re-establishing his position, we don't know what he was doing. All we can judge is what happened. So Domi won. And it is quite obvious.
@MrHannan1992 To me it was clear and plainly apparent that Tie quit and was trying to get away. His hands were down and he was skating away while Bob was still throwing punches. This was even more obvious than the Probert Brown fight. Watch the end. Domi is clearly trying to get away. It doesn't look to me at all like he wants to keep fighting. I don't like quitters. Being a BJJ guy I know that there are times when you have to quit or get an arm broken, but quitting because........
@MrHannan1992 ..........but quitting because you got tired is never acceptable in a fight and you can't claim a win if you quit. Ever. To fighters that's just not acceptable. I do know what Tie is doing here. He is CLEARLY finished and can't fight any more. It couldn't be any more apparent. As a fighter I KNOW when I see another fighter quit. It's in his actions and his expression. Tie just wants out here and is actively trying to get away.
@NameyMD And you can't even spell "Faggot" right you fuck wit. Go back to whatever rock you crawled out from under little boy; before you get your ass handed to you.
@SCROGY Lol I owned your lame ass and now you're crying in public like the hapless little gimp that you are. And what makes you think it's "my country"? I'm not even Finnish I just live here for the moment and I don't give a shit. I fuck up pussies like you for brunch so fuck off before your embarass yourself any further, just delete your fucking account, I don't want to see your FAGET ass around here anymore.
@NameyMD Whatever dude. Stop making excuses. If you're such a badass why not go to Russia and train Sambo or go to Japan and train Judo at the Budokan or Thailand and train MT? I mean you "fuck people up" right? You must be one tough mother to brag about how tough you are and call me out from all the way over there where you're safe. And if you really did fuck people up, you wouldn't be on YT talking about it, you'd be at the club DOING IT! Now how's getting embarrassed?
@SCROGY Wow you're obviously completely retarded, I don't know what the hell you are trying to say. I almost feel kinda bad owning you so fucking hard but not really. Just go home kid, go cry to mama your retarded tears
@NameyMD What am I trying to say? I'm saying that you're nothing but a shit talking loser. You said you fuck people up? Fine, then prove it asshole. Come here and train with me and "fuck me up". You stupid POS, you don't even know what Sambo is do you? Or MT? You're a sad pathetic attempt at being a troll and you're way out of your league. Take some advice and quit before I make you cry on your keyboard you fucking amature. Oh, and you still can't spell, idiot.
@SCROGY LMFAO I can imagine you anally going over every word for mispellings like a geeky dumbass buttsucking bitch. You don't even deserve to read correct spelling, that's how much of a shit you are, it is a mockery against language to even communicate with a sperm burp like you. And ROTFL you whimper something about my flawless spelling right after YOU SPELL AMATEUR WRONG haha wtf is a an amature?
You're probably getting your little wee wee all hard when you act tough, and probably drink your own cum by the sound of your "threats". Completely and utterly owned you are, demolished to atoms. You don't even exist anymore, only in the form of a fart, still rubbing your retarded fingers on the keyboard like the ghost of a faggot.
@SCROGY LOL it's pretty fucking obvious you're some kind of drooling village idiot pissing his pants somewhere without me checking your profile which, by the way, stinks like shit! I don't want to go anywhere near your lamebrain profile. So goodbye you diaper-wearing dogshit.
@NameyMD I'm not going to comment on these posts because I already made you look pathetic in that regard, so I'll deal with your comments on my profile. You first post amounted to nothing more than "I know you are but what am I?". Seriously, reread your pathetic attempt at a come back and you'll see that that's ALL it was.
Your second post was you basically admitting that you like to amuse yourself. Now this would be because you don't amuse anyone else. I mean really............
@NameyMD ..................if you were actually funny I might get a laugh or even a cool new insult but you're just like every other troll on YT: tragically unoriginal. In fact you trolling comes right out of the internet guide to trolling for dummies:
1) Insult poster
2) make joke about his/her sexuality
3) challenge them to a fight you will never have to back up
4) attempt to damage control any stupid shit you've done that your opponent used to make you look bad
@NameyMD ............had a 212 IQ why are you watching hockey fights? Shouldn't you be hanging out with Dr Hawking? Or figuring out a way to solve the worlds energy problems? Or coming up with truly intelligent insults instead of thinly veiled school yard insults? No no my friend, you're just compensating once again for your true lack of wit by throwing out everything that every internet troll has ever tried. Lame.
Your third post conforms to this pattern so closely that it is........
@NameyMD ...........actually funny, but not in the way you intended. More pathetic funny than ha ha funny. Finally your fourth and final post doesn't fail to conform either. In fact it's pretty much conforms to the pattern in the most predictable way possible with one added twist. You didn't even get the sarcasm present in that post, but then maybe I am giving you too much credit even though you clearly don't deserve it. My suggestion to you is get a new writer because you suck at trolling.
dave brown was really tough but was not respected by the players of his era. truth is he played for the pension and thats it. my cousin grew up with dave andreychuk and we got all the inside gossip from the league then. and after the game when he pounded on jim kyte when he was down, his own team wouldnt speak to him. very dirty and cheap fighter. like when he came out to fight nilan with no shirt or equipment. guys probably a huge drunk now. but he was the original mangler

Jay Miller and Bob Probert were better fighters who fought much tougher guys than Dave'the jumper' Brown! HALF A FOOT TALLER THAN EVERYONE HE FOUGHT AND STILL NEEDED EVERY EDGE HE COULD GET! PUSSY!

Out of respect for these departed athletes, Boogaard, Rypien, Belak and Probert, please refrain from making comments on ANY fight video.
It's time to grow up. It's not a game anymore.

Brown and Domi only fought once, it would have been a good fight but Brown was wearing and oversized jersey and it came off and Domi never had anything to hold onto and Brown had the advantage, so Brown's jersey came off too.
hockeystruth 5 months ago
@hockeystruth 'Actually they fought 4 times. 3 of the fights are on youtube. I would say 2 Brown won and the other 2 were VERY close, probably ties. BTW I'd say Schyltz, Probert, Brown, Boogard, Brashear...in that order.
tat2drich 4 months ago
@tat2drich ...that's not true bob probert and brown (flyers) only ever fought twice (2x), 1st fight was a none fight brown jumped probert and they just hugged each other, probert had fought and beat scott melanby in the same game....Then the 2nd fight brown (oilers) had jumped probert and probert beat brown bad, pounding brown to the ice and that was already after probert had been in a fight with and beat jeff buekabuem in the same game. Youtube has several of the same fight videos.
hockeystruth 4 months ago
@tat2drich
You would call this a close fight? LOL Fanboy for Brown.
PSonak 3 months ago
@hockeystruth They fought twice, once in Philly, and once in Edmonton.
AjOzzey 3 months ago
When it came to fighting a true heavyweight like Probert, Brown always looked for some type of an unfair advantage, like jumping them from behind and start whaling on his opponent before they even knew they were in a fight, this happened in both altercations between Brown and Probert, the 1st fight wasn't a fight at all, brown was scared to trade with Probert after he realized that he couldn't knock Probert down when he jumped him and the 2nd fight Probert kicked Brown's ass.
hockeystruth 5 months ago 7
Brown never fought the true heavy weights like probert did, when brown fought semenko, semenko beat brown, probert knocked semenko to the ice and beat the crap out of him when they fought, brown is not even in probert's class as a fighter
hockeystruth 5 months ago
@hockeystruth Probert fought tougher guys indeed such as Twist,Tocchet,Ewen,Kocur,Richter,Wilson,Clark,McGill,ect...Brown as lots of wins against bums such as Russell,Mackay,Jennings,Frowley,Kyte,Caufield,Buskas...mere punching bags.

Probert was never on steroids, he was caught and admitted to drinking alcohol and using cocaine. At this time Probert was just a better fighter and he gave it to Brown. That's it, no excuses.
hockeystruth 5 months ago
@hockeystruth fucking retard he won because his jersey come out and brown had nothing to hold on.LOL another punk probet nuthugger at least dave brown did not lost to guys like crwoder belanger ewen domi or twist LOL

oh bullshit! Brown could never beat Probert! Brown is only good because he has that reach. He can swing, but that reach gives him the edge. He is a big bully on 5'10" guys too. Probert isn't. Probert protects linemates when he has to. Brown could not beat Probert, Kocur, Craig Coxe (he jumped him), Zdeno Chara or Georges Laraque.
misterb0071 7 months ago
@misterb0071 LMFAO LMFAO LMFAO chara and laraque played AFTER HIM he raped coxe and beat probert one fuck you know nothing about fights he fought clay miller ed semenko
khav11 7 months ago
i love probert but brown was unlucky and had nothing to hold onto hence he lost brown wuld have won the fight brown was more technical and dirtier hence hes likes 150 wins and 5 losses LOL
khav11 8 months ago
@khav11 Brown more technical? Not at all. He just pounded guys down to the ice. Probert was by far the more technical fighter (he slipped punches like a boxer which makes sense since he did box). It's odd however that here Probert pounds Brown silly. I would have thought that this fight would be more like the Probert McSorley marathon.
SCROGY 6 months ago
@SCROGY scrogy please we had several disputes before dont extend this one i say dave brown is the #1 heavyweight over history whatever you say his record speaks for itself hes like 25 wins / one lose ratio ,period
khav11 6 months ago
@SCROGY also probert used coke and he was on steroids at 230 pounds brown 215 all natural muscles and still dominated more the league enough said
khav11 6 months ago
@khav11 When was Probert on steroids, and where is your proof? And how do you know what Brown did or didn't do? As far as I know Probert never took steroids. And why is taking steroids even an issue?
SCROGY 6 months ago
@SCROGY steroids gives you uber strenght you should know we had a discussion before. and and it gave probert an unfair advantage brown over probert Easy as top 1 fighter guess why steroids are not allowed during olympics comps or any fight leagues etc etc....period
khav11 6 months ago
@khav11 But I am asking you where did you get that Probert was on steroids? I have never heard of him getting caught.
And remember fighting is against the rules in hockey. So even if you're taking steroids, who cares? It just helps you be better at something that is illegal in the first place.
SCROGY 6 months ago
@SCROGY hes lying. Something he wishes he was better at. Don't waste ur time with this fool. Trust me
buttkick22 5 months ago
@buttkick22 the only way probert could won against brown was shirtless. as shown here! brown beat him in a fair match probert beat him in a unfair match. get real faggot
khav11 5 months ago
@SCROGY ok listen probert fanboy. every old timers i speak with do agree and accept the fact that the only way probert could win. was without his jeyrsey to overcame big brown. thats why he won there. but he got beat in their first match 1-1 probert got 3/1 win/loss ratio brown more than 12/1 right on top of the list with chris simon. enough said.
khav11 5 months ago
@khav11 I don't give a crap what "old timers" say. I am telling you how it is: Probert lost his jersey because he was GOOD AT IT. It is a legit tactic and he mastered it. Nobody else did it because they couldn't without getting dropped or pulled to the ice. And he won plenty of fights with it on. You still haven't explained why it's ok for Brown to wear a small jersey that was skin tight around his sleeve but not ok for Probert to let his come off when some guy was pulling on it.
SCROGY 5 months ago
@SCROGY If you're lucky, he'll start telling u about his giant muscles and his workout routine. What a creepy kid hahaha.
buttkick22 5 months ago
@khav11 And Brown won that first fight? Really because I didn't even see a fight. I saw two guys dancing because one (Brown) was too affraid to do anything like let go of Proberts arm and throw down. Bobby proved who was king in the rematch. That was a REAL FIGHT and a one sided ass kicking.
SCROGY 5 months ago
@SCROGY obviously a probert biased fanboy cant argue with that. only ppl who knows hockey will understand that brown was the tougher fighter better chin better damage. probert with his cheap technique when his jersey comes out....laughable. domi and probert admitted the toughest fighter they fought was brown oh yeah scrogy for you one fight says it all! how about the fight probert lost to belanger. and its not an one sided ass kicking if probert felts kicks of browns first LOLLLLLLL owned
khav11 5 months ago
@khav11 There wasnt even a punch thrown in the first match...you talk about the Jersey tactic? yeah its called gaining an advantage, Mcsorley used to wear goalie jerseys, Kordic had removable sleeves....Brown took a different approach to gain an advantage....He would usually throw 3-4 left hands before the other guy was ready..Brown was tough no question and everyone has their opinion...But most hockey people who followed that era including myself will tell you Probert was #1 overall.
cujo905 5 months ago
@cujo905 is this scorgys other account? would you stop hugging probers dead balls? probert admitted brown was tougher stfu fangirl
khav11 5 months ago
@khav11 Im a fan of hockey, not no fanboy of anyone...well maybe Mcsorley....therefore Im unbias and can make an intelligent opinion...by your ignorant/imature comment tells me I hurt your feelings since youre a Brown Fanboy...and when you love a fighter that much, you simply dont hear the facts...Probert was a humble guy and would give credit to other fighters..Bottom line, Probert had the edge overall against Brown, and while were at it...so did my boy Mcsorley
cujo905 5 months ago 8

RIP Probie.

only reason Probert won was because he lost his jersey. If he had kept it on he would have been destroyed
Tarbash7 1 year ago
@Tarbash7 Really? I believe what you are doing is called speculating without evidence. Brown got beat down badly. He was dropped and based on who had the best cardio and the direction the fight was taking I would argue that things only would have gotten worse for Brown had the refs NOT stepped in to save his ass.
SCROGY 1 year ago
Brown was a tough SOB but Probert ended it with those rights to the chops...
2382224 1 year ago
this is why the jersey had to be tied down. It gives a fighter an advantage when you have nothing to grab hold of!
villanova85 1 year ago
@villanova85 You gotta be a Philly bum. Brown got decisively beat there.
jcifv1 1 year ago
@jcifv1 And you have to be a Philly hater. It was arguably a tie. Maybe slight edge to Brown because of the way the fight started.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 You don't judge a fight based on how it started. You judge it based on how it ended. And Brown nearly got KTFO.
SCROGY 1 year ago
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Except your example is moot because Brown didn't knock Probert down twice. And yes points SHOULD be given for coming on strong at the end. They did this in Pride fighting for INDIVIDUAL rounds. It's a sign of a better conditioned fighter. It doesn't matter if you come out and throw a few punches and then fade. All that proves is that you either don't have heart or conditioning. Any Pud can start a fight and quickly land a few and then hold on.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ............And that's what a lot of so called tough guys did in the NHL. Hell Mick Vukota admitted this was his strategy. Land a few then calf rope the guy. Because he was scared to keep on fighting. Probert was KNOW for letting guys tire themselves and then coming on strong. Unfortunately the refs often stopped the fights when he started pounding guys after the 1 minute mark. OK fair enough. Then let the fight continue and we'll see who the real fighter is.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY See who the real fighter is? I am sorry but Brown is a better fighter than Probert without a doubt. It isn't as obvious here, but Brown hasn't lost like Probert has before. Brown is the best fighter to ever fight in Hockey. I'm not even sure Probert would be second the way Domi handled him once. But anyway, finishing strong is important, but if you start off weak, you spend the rest of the fight playing "catch up."
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Brown lost plenty. He lost to Jay Miller and Probert just to name a few. Brown was also known to jump guys. He jumped Miller in the rematch after losing their first fight badly. There are all kinds of WW MMA fighters that are undefeated. Does that make them better than GSP? Nope. And Domi didn't HANDLE Probert in the first fight at all. At the end Tie is trying to GET AWAY from Probert while Bob is still punching. Tie QUIT in that fight but people seem to forget that.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY You are too much of a Probert fan to try and talk with you. If we went through a list of fights lost by both Probert and Brown, Probert's would be longer. But Probert could get knocked out blood everywhere and you would probably say something like "The fact that Probert is alive proves he won the fight" However you see it, Domi won the first fight between them two, and beat him once after that. Probert beat Domi too but they called that fight "reclaiming the title" because he lost to him
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 dude, I don't care if you think I am a Probert fan. The fact is that he beat Brown silly in the rematch and made Brown quit in this one. Go back and watch the Domi fight again and you'll see tie trying to get the hell out of there at the end because he was gassed and Probert was pounding him. I also don't care what "they said" because they don't fight. Probert made Tie quit and run away. Probert won that first fight because he was still fighting when Tie wanted out of it.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY He never beat Brown "silly." neither of them beat the other "silly." Beating someone silly is a unanimous decision with clear winner with NO discussion. Your definition of beating someone silly is very shallow.
And exactly how do you know Probert isn't tired? Are yours and his hearts attached so you feel what he feels? No. So to say he isn't tired when others are is completely disregarded. You have nothing to prove for that.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 He landed several hard shots to Browns face and dropped him. That was a clear win for Probert.
I know Probert isn't tired because he fights for FAR longer than this in most of his fights. There is nothing in Proberts fighting history that could lead you to the assumption that his IS tired. You see that's how it works. You base a conclusion on past evidence, and Probert up to this point was known for easily fighting for far longer than this. In fact he usually bides.........
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY I am not saying he is tired, I am saying you have no way of knowing or feeling whether or not he is tired. That is just a fact. Another fact is no, your grandmother couldn't slam him harder, you are just ignorant if you believe so. It's not luck, it is Probert being a dumb fuck not watching where he is going, it's his fault, not Crowder's fault for busting him open after he fell. Just stop typing, I would tell you to go suck Probert's dick but it is decomposed so I don't know. Just stop.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Now you're just being an asshole like every other guy that watches these fights. Keep it civil or don't bother tough guy. WTF is with you hockey fight fans? You can't debate without pulling this big mouth act like you think you some bad ass because you watch hockey fights. The people I know would fuck up the toughest hockey players without even breaking a sweat. So unless you want to act like a man fuck off.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Sorry but being an asshole is the only way I seem to get through to stubborn, biased opinions like yours.
You don't know anyone personally that would beat Laraque (who's retired) or Boogaard or Engelland or Brashear (who's retired too) in a hockey fight. Sorry, but that is just another fact. EVEN ON THE OFF CHANCE, that your buddies would get LUCKY ENOUGH to knock down someone like Iginla, they would MOST DEFINITELY break a sweat. Your whole comment is just shallow and retarded.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Ummmm who said "in a hockey fight"? Did I say that ANYWHERE? No. I don't play hockey. Haven't since I was younger, I've been doing BJJ for about 8 years now and MA for about 10 (I'm a BJJ purple belt). The guys I train with are pretty high level fighters (a couple have been in the world rankings at one time or another). So don't assume things. Secondly, you were doing really well. You had been courteous and receptive of courtesy. But now this boorish tough guy act.........
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY This is a video about a HOCKEY FIGHT. Why wouldn't we talk about hockey fights? If you want to talk about another sort of fight, go on other videos and chat it up there with your MMA buddies. But this is a hockey fight video, so from now on, I am talking about who can beat who on skates. Keep up?
I don't care if Laraque is as tough as Miley Cyrus when the skates come off, we are talking about hockey, changing the subject would leave me to believe you have hit a wall in your argument.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ............no no no. It won't do. You see when some one gets angry and starts throwing insults around it means they have been defeated in the debate and are resorting to logical fallacies (most often Ad Hominen attacks or as it's better known: "argument to the man") because they have nothing left to go with. Argument to the man usually means you have no evidence to support your claim (I provided evidence that Probert wasn't tired by citing his past fight history) so you.......
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ........begin attacking the person you are debating with instead of his arguments. It's the surest sign that you know you've lost the debate. Now if you would like to continue this debate in a civil fashion I would welcome it. If not then please drop it. And for the record I can assure you that the people I know would fuck up any hockey player in a real fight.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Please right logically if you are going to talk to me or don't comment at all. You just sound really dumb saying stupid shit like your friends could fuck up Colton Orr without trying...
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 They could. You don't know who my friends are or what they do. They ARE fighters, not hockey players. Just because you can fight on the ice doesn't make you a tough guy when the skates come off. I respect hockey players and love all types of fighting, but the toughest guy in the NHL would get destroyed by any half way decent mixed martial artist in less than 30 seconds.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY And less then 30 seconds? I would easily bet you millions on Laraque being able to stay in the ring for longer than 30 seconds on any of your friends. I don't know your friends, we don't really know Laraque. Unless they have fought before you can't say shit about it.
I guess you are going to nip me in the butt by saying something about my capitalization now, right? Since you probably know I'm right. Kind of like you did last post.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Nope. He'D get taken down and submitted in probably LESS than 30 seconds. There's a video of him JUST wrestling (no striking or submissions) with GSP a guy that's 40 lbs smaller than him and he gets tooled. Now what do you think would happen if GSP was punching and kicking and trying to submit Laraque? GSP is being NICE to George in that video. If he wanted to really fuck Laraque up it would have taken a matter of seconds.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY GSP is way different than your friends. I am sure your friends are cool and great at what they do, but really, GSP is a whole different level of fighting then your friends are. Sorry, but if I don't know your friends, then that's fact. GSP > your friends. That is why Laraque got taken down in a handful of seconds. Your friends are not GSP; thus, I still think it would take longer than 30 seconds.
I am not saying Laraque would win, but he can last 30 SECONDS for sure.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 What difference does that make? I have friends that are Olympic alternate wrestlers/BJJ world champions. They could teach GSP wrestling/BJJ. That still doesn't change the fact that they are high level pro MMA fighters and would fuck up pretty much ANY hockey player you put in front of them. Don't change the subject into GSP vs my friends. YOU made the claim that Laraque would "last" longer than 30 seconds. He wouldn't. Not a chance in hell. Taken down and subbed in seconds.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY I'm not changing the subject. You said GSP could take down Laraque in less than 30 seconds because of that one video. I said yes. GSP can, your friends, can not. Just read what I write ONCE. Please.
And your scenario is different. The other guy is trying to win as well, that is why he would get subbed in seconds. If you tell Laraque just to survive longer than 30 seconds, a lot of people can. I am not saying Laraque would win, he would survive longer than 30 seconds if that was his goal
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Dude. You aren't getting it are you? GSP is NOT an Olympic alternate for wrestling. He's an MMA fighter with very good wrestling. I know wrestlers that could teach GSP wrestling. They are better wrestlers by far. They would take Laraque down easier than GSP. MMA fight? That's different. I also train with Judo black belts that have thrown Olympic caliber Judokas. Laraque would stand no chance of staying on his feet for 30 seconds, unless he literally ran away.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Fuck it, running away means staying up for 30 seconds. If you told him to last 30 seconds and that is what he had to do, he would do it and last 30 seconds. Laraque still is 6'3 265 pounds and has some knowledge about fighting. NOT SAYING HE WOULD WIN. saying he would survive a handful of seconds.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Do you train MMA? Consider this: A really good grappler can beat a good kick boxer in seconds. All kinds of guys have been subbed in MMA fights in under 30 seconds. And those guys were MMA fighters with some knowledge of the game. You even put a BJJ purple belt against Fabrico Werdum or Demian Maia and he'd get subbed in seconds. Now how in Gods name is a hockey player with ZERO knowledge of BJJ/wrestling (or even good stand up) going to keep from getting fucked up? He isn't.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 I'll nip you in the"BUD" (that's the saying....not "BUTT") about using the proper words. If you want to drop this stupid grammar war, do it now, and I'll agree to it. Deal?
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ...........please don't attempt to correct me if you're going to use "right" where you should be using "WRITE"...............you sound really dumb doing stupid shit like that..............;)
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY You don't know who your friends can fuck up unless you see them fight. Another fact.
If you are going to correct me about grammar, try actually putting the question marks and punctuation inside the quotation marks, it is grammatically where they go. If you are going to argue like that, we could do this all day. How about you just stick to the topic we are talking about. Now you REALLY sound like you are out of logical arguments if you are turning into grammar police. I can do that too.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Yeah Yeah. You're going to sit there and pretend guys that train their whole lives in MMA can't beat a hockey player while fighting on their feet? And I suppose you need to see Wayne Gretzky play hockey against George St Pierre to know Wayne is going to outscore him in hockey? Dream on dude.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Honestly, Tom Glavine, the retired pitcher from the mets and braves, was the second pick for the NHL behind the great mario lemieux. Luc Robitaille was also in that draft in a later round. So, you say that i have to see gretzky play GSP in hockey to find out who is better? My answer is this.
We don't know if Tom Glavine would have been a better hockey player than baseball player. And we don't know if he would have been better than Robitaille UNTIL WE SEE IT PHYSICALLY.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 You're totally wrong. You're making the assumption that an athlete in one sport can cross over and immediately be good in another having never done it. That's completely false. Some have one it but for the most part they weren't even close to being among the better players in both sports. It takes a lifetime of practicing a skill like skating or shooting to even dream of making the NHL, let alone being good and let alone being able to even carry Mario Lemieuxs jock strap.......
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Tom Glavine played hockey. He was projected the second draft pick in the 1984 draft. He was GREAT at both sports. And those sports are totally different. So I could say Tom Glavine is better than Lemieux, but we wouldn't know unless we saw it. Tom Glavine was considered better than Luc Robitaille and a lot of other greats in college. But we won't know how great he would have been unless he played, which he didn't. Same goes for all scenarios.....
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@SCROGY ...Brock Lesnar played football for the Minnesota Vikings, and was an MMA champion. Jeremy Yablonski is a minor league tough guy in hockey, and won his first mma fight in seconds and is pretty good at mma. Hockey players believe it or not use mma training to help them fight. Riley Cote is another one. So acting like hockey players are helpless without skates on is a stupid thing to assume. Some hockey players can beat some mma fighters. And its happened before. Get over it.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Brock beat a bunch of puds and a 45 year old man. As soon as he ran into a good fighter he got destroyed. And he was a wrestler BEFORE he played football. So if anything he carried his fighting art over to football, not the other way around. Wrestling is a HUGE part of MMA and is actually being dominated by wrestlers right now because of the rule set. So in truth he was training for a major aspect of MMA since he was a kid.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY And what about the hockey players and musicians and actors? Fucking DMX was about to do MMA.. DMX, are you kidding me? the retarded rapper was getting into that.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ................sure Bo Jackson did it (but he was nowhere near being among the best in either sport), but baseball and football, for the most part, don't carry the specialized skill sets that sports like Hockey and or MMA do. If you don't grow up skating and fighting there is pretty much zero chance you will be able to get really good at it late in your athletic life. You certainly aren't going to be beating ANY good MMA fighter in a fight just because you're a hockey enforcer.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Oh and by the way, I guess I wasn't clear. This is a hockey fight video, I hardly give a shit who can beat who on the street, if it isn't on skates, I don't want to hear about it. Seriously, please tell me you can comprehend that? Hockey fight video, so all fight scenarios can stay on the ice. You probably don't understand but it is worth a try.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Except once again YOU made the claim that Laraque could last longer than 30 seconds in a fight against a top level MMA fighter. He'd get KO'd or taken down and submitted in a matter of seconds. There isn't even a shred of doubt about it. I'm sorry but what is your knowledge of BJJ wrestling and Muay Thai? Do you have any knowledge of those things that let's you make claims about the people that practice them? If you do, fine. But you have not indicated such.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY I love how you act like Laraque is a feeble bitch when the skates come off. If you tell him to last 30 seconds and he would win money or something for doing it, I can bet that he would last 30 seconds in an MMA ring. Believe it or not, MMA fighters aren't untouchable. Look it up, plenty of football players and hockey players go into MMA and do just fine. Actors have become MMA fighters and musicians even have....
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Sure, they do fine fighting other puds and amatures. When they fight someone good they get destroyed. And the fact is that before they step into the cage they spend a lot of time training for it. They don't just leave the ice and start fighting in a cage. NO ONE DOES. Most of them work for a significant amount of time wrestling, kick boxing and doing BJJ. When one of them actually does something significant, then you'll have a point.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Man you just can't seem to get the fact that YOU are the one that started all this. YOU started the name calling and YOU stared the grammatical nit picking (and you were wrong when you actually DID start it which is the funny part). YOU told me to "right" legibly. If you didn't want a debate on grammar and punctuation, why did you start one? If you want me to stick to hockey fights, then stick to hockey fights and don't START the insults and don't START a war about grammar.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY And if anything is hypothetical, please stop writing it? Who cares if Laraque would lose to your macho friends in a hypothetical fight. It will never happen, so we will never know. Just stop. Your hypothetical shit is getting a little crazy. Who cares who COULD beat who. If it hasn't physically happened, we will never know.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Once again, the points were valid. You claimed that Brown made this huge slam against Probert. It was a tiny little shove into the glass. I said that isn't a slam and anyone that thinks it is HAS NO IDEA what a slam is. I said if you want to see a hard slam watch a particular MMA fight (to demonstrate it). You then continued to wrongly insist it was a hard slam. It was nothing but a little shove.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Laraque can't last with GSP, your friends, he can. I know they are your friends, so you think they are the shit at everything they do and that's understandable, but come on
And a slam can be a lot of things. In scripts for movies it will say: *man slams guy up against a wall* and it looks just like what Brown did. Slam to you is pick him up by the legs 10 feet in the air and drive him into the ground. When in reality, you can just slam some up against a wall....
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Dude you don't get it do you? The guys I train with are world class fighters. Some have been ranked top ten (and even top 3 in one case) in the world at one time or another, and were champions in smaller organizations like TKO and UCC. I don't know what your mental picture of them is but you really have no idea how good these guys are. Two of them have fought the best fighters in their weight class in the world (one of the guys my instructor fought is a current UFC champ).
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Unless I see your friends and meet you, I would never believe you. Internet arguments hardly use personal life shit. Did I mention I am a black belt 300 pound muscular 6'8 black guy who toured the world fighting the each countries best?
I could be lying just as much as you are. We would never know unless we see it. This is an internet argument, so stop telling me about your pathetic fairy tale of a life okay? I won't believe it.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Look at my profile. You think I spend that much time searching for BJJ and wrestling and grappling techniques on you tube just to pretend to be a grappler? If I was an internet wanna be I would have started calling you a pussy immediately, then said something about your mom and then called you on. Believe me I have seen enough wanna bes on this site and dealt with them to tell you that they have a modus operandi that is almost exactly the same from one to the next.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 The funniest part is that so many guys on these hockey fight vids just jump right into the insults and the "I banged your mom" and "you're my bitch" stuff it's not even funny. Seriously. But to be honest it's just as bad on the MMA videos. You disagree with some 18 year old turd and the next thing you know he's going off the deep end. I guess it's ok to do that when they are nice and safe behind their computer.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY If you would seriously hit me or get physical over this kind of an argument, then you have bigger issues than I thought. Honestly, I am 6'1 and 160 pounds. Nothing special. You would probably hammer into me, but seriously? If we had this argument face to face as opposed to "safe behind my computer," you would hit me? Get self control big guy.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
Again, no where did I say that. I said wanna be's on these hockey videos seem to always threaten you when you try to debate with them. Where do you get that I insinuated that I would hit you or get physical? I don't threaten people over the internet. That's IS a sure sign of a keyboard warrior. I got know why you are getting so confused with my posts here.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY You are getting just as confused. I say "you can't tell if he is tired." and you see it as "Probert is hands down tired." ORRR "write logically" as "write legibly with correct grammar." So if you don't see how I am getting confused, just figure out how you are getting confused and tag it to me as well, okay?
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@SCROGY If you didn't mean that you would hit me if I wasn't behind a safe computer, then why the fuck did you write that comment? That was not AT ALL related to ANYTHING we were talking about.
Seriously, answer that. What was the point of writing that?
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Because it wasn't referring to you. It was referring to those wanna be's that insult people because they are safe behind their computers. That did not refer to you at all. It was an explanation of how some people get on You tube.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY If it wasn't referring to me, it really had no business being typed. It was just a random general comment about nothing we were talking about.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ..............and my point was that that "slam".....as you call it that Brown did was about as insignificant a slam as you can find. It was nothing. Don't attempt to attach some significance to it. It was nothing. As a matter of fact Probert was skating backwards as he usually does in his fights when he's tied up and more skated into the boards than was pushed by Brown.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY The term slam is an appropriate word here. There are different levels of the word, but it still can be considered one. I didn't say, "superfantastically hard lightning powerful slam." I just said slam, I am allowed to use that word.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 So what significance was it in the fight other than none at all?
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY The fight kind of seemed even, until the slam slightly showed Brown was more in control and had the fight won.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 But Probert has always skated backwards when he's tied up. Watch his other fights. Brown looks like he's holding on. Probert has a history of skating backwards in his fights. You're placing some significance on something that is utterly meaningless in the fight. I could argue that Probert was pulling Brown around and thus showed he was in control.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY You would argue that because you loved Probert. You've made that very clear. I like both equally, and you can see Brown pull Probert's shirt over his head, look more confident in his punches, and Probert has his head down trying to free the grip of Brown as Brown is right in his face talking shit. Brown was in total control. Probert didn't skate backwards into the glass, Brown shoved him into it. If Probert skated into it, he's even clumsier than I thought, but I don't think he did.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@SCROGY ....Slam is an aggressive word. Maybe that is why you are so fucking butt hurt over the word choice. But what he did can be considered a slam, not a hard slam, but a slam at that. I'm sorry as a Probert fan you hate to see that happen to him, but it happened. Wasn't bad or anything. Just a slam. And I didn't insist it was a, "hard slam." I insisted it was a slam. Don't add the word hard if I didn't say it. Brown slammed Probert.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 It was nothing and certainly had no outcome in the fight, but you tried to suggest it did. It was utterly meaningless in the course of the fight.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY It does have an outcome if you have nothing else to base the winner off of.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@SCROGY All I can really say is look at my bio, and look at what your doing. I put that as my bio one of the first times I used youtube. It explains everything I feel.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 And you're not? You're engaging in assumption based on nothing and committing logical fallacies (ie Red Herring). I'd have some respect for your opinion if you provided evidence (as with the claim that Probert was tired) but you didn't. I don't really care who wins. I like all fighters. In fact I don't actually even like hockey any more because there's no more fighting. But this was a nothing fight and no one won. It wasn't enough of a fight to even declare a winner.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Yes but how you know Brown won is this. IF YOU HAD to pick a winner, who would it be? Only Probert fans are going to say he won. That is how you know Brown won. It was a fight, a weak one at that, but a fight. There must be a winner and a loser. These ones are no different. Brown won that one.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 But you're making assumptions again. You are assuming Probert fans would pick Probert while Brown fans would pick...........I don't know. Your reasoning here suggests that Brown fans would pick the other guy so that proves Brown won. You really didn't think that through. And As I said I am a fan of all fighters. I am looking at this as someone who has competed in fighting and lost a few. The first fight was so God awful that I wouldn't even pick a winner................
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Brown fans would pick Brown. But a third party viewer like me would pick Brown too. All of my friends agree, and they don't give a fuck. Some don't watch hockey. If a winner had to be made, it would be Brown by most people. I agree with you that there was no winner, but if you had to pick one, who would it be? honest answer.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ........I would pick Probert because I look at who wanted to keep fighting. Like I said I don't care how well you did at the start of a fight. It's how you finish that matters, unless you utterly destroyed the guy up to the last few seconds and he was only beginning to come back, then that's different. Brown threw a few meaningless punches and then held on. To me he quit. I think Bob wanted to get his hands free and throw. Brown looked like he wanted to hold on...........
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Oh so you base winners off of what MIGHT HAVE happened. Seems a little ridiculous but I guess that is your prerogative. Most people tend to base who won off of what actually happened. Which is why I said that most people think Brown won. I think you're right, I think Probert had he gotten free would have maybe won. But he didn't. Thus, Brown got the W to most people.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Well you can look at it as Brown quitting. Yes he did throw at the start but then if you want to talk about what happened, then I argue that Brown quit. And if you quit in a fight you can never be declared the winner. Again that's why I give Probert the win in the first Domi fight. No matter what Domi did in that fight he lost because he quit. Had Domi kept punching at the end I would have given him the win. But I don't give wins to guys who quit.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Probert is the best fighter to ever play hockey and a God at that. Absolutely amazing. The only way he loses is if he beats himself.
Probert takes a shit standing up. Probert doesn't sleep, he waits. Probert isn't big, he's enormous. Probert gets more girls than the Playboy Mansion. Probert beat the shit out of Adam and Eve. Probert's sweat makes Santa's reindeer fly.
Is that what you want to hear? I don't know you are impossible
P.S I thought of those by myself and proud secretly
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Now you're just being silly. I just admitted Probert probably lost more than Brown did.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY I know I know. Our posts are coming out at bad times. You didn't see that I told you to disregard it yet. Damn Youtube.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@SCROGY I posted that before you posted yours so you can disregard that if you like lol...I see it as they both won one. So it is too hard to judge besides their other fights against other people. Brown never lost to Domi. Domi has beaten Probert. Even though he slipped, Probert lost to Twist and a few others. This fight is probably the worst Brown has ever been in terms of the receiving end of a fight. Probert, however, has taken worse beating to the point of blood. Brown never bled.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 Fair enough, but I think Jay Miller gave it to Brown pretty good in their first fight too. I think Brown had a bloody nose in that first Miller fight IIRC.
SCROGY 1 year ago

SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY Well Philly feed is pretty even. New York feeds and other local feeds always think their person won. Like if you look up Carcillo vs Gaborik. The NY feed is practically cursing at Carcillo because they said Carcillo "attacked Gaborik" when in the video you see Gaborik clearly shove carcillo and drop a glove first. Philly feed is always even
And I guess if they said he got beat bad then it's true. I mean, he did take a lot of punches. But yeah Brown won too many times previous of that
MrHannan1992 1 year ago

I am going to keep looking...I know I will find it! lol

@SCROGY Oh okay I found it. Yeah I guess you can say McSorley won. Missed a lot but landed more for sure.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
There's no doubt Brown was one of the best and may have actually lost fewer fights than Probert (I think Proberts style of biding his time led him to lose more simply because the refs broke his fights up before giving him a chance to come back). Brown pounded people into the ice quickly). But Probert beat Brown, so it's hard to argue Brown was the best when Probert beat him decisively.
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ...........and that's also why I think Domi lost the first fight; HE QUIT. He was trying to get the hell out of there while Probert was still pounding him. I don't care if Domi cut him, shot his dog, robbed his house and raped his mother, Domi quit and when you quit you forfeit everything positive you have done in the fight to that point. And to be honest my friends wouldn't even judge a garbage fight like the first Brown Probert fight. They'd likely say: "That was a fight?".
SCROGY 1 year ago
@SCROGY They went to the box 5 minutes FOR FIGHTING. Regardless of what your friends think, it was a fight, plain and simple. That is a fact. As for Domi quitting, you being a Probert fan, you use the word quit. While Domi fans would say "re-establishing position."
You can put any spin on it you won't. I think he is running too, but you can argue that he is re-establishing his position, we don't know what he was doing. All we can judge is what happened. So Domi won. And it is quite obvious.
MrHannan1992 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 To me it was clear and plainly apparent that Tie quit and was trying to get away. His hands were down and he was skating away while Bob was still throwing punches. This was even more obvious than the Probert Brown fight. Watch the end. Domi is clearly trying to get away. It doesn't look to me at all like he wants to keep fighting. I don't like quitters. Being a BJJ guy I know that there are times when you have to quit or get an arm broken, but quitting because........
SCROGY 1 year ago
@MrHannan1992 ..........but quitting because you got tired is never acceptable in a fight and you can't claim a win if you quit. Ever. To fighters that's just not acceptable. I do know what Tie is doing here. He is CLEARLY finished and can't fight any more. It couldn't be any more apparent. As a fighter I KNOW when I see another fighter quit. It's in his actions and his expression. Tie just wants out here and is actively trying to get away.

NameyMD 11 months ago
@NameyMD Whatever dude. Stop making excuses. If you're such a badass why not go to Russia and train Sambo or go to Japan and train Judo at the Budokan or Thailand and train MT? I mean you "fuck people up" right? You must be one tough mother to brag about how tough you are and call me out from all the way over there where you're safe. And if you really did fuck people up, you wouldn't be on YT talking about it, you'd be at the club DOING IT! Now how's getting embarrassed?
SCROGY 11 months ago
@SCROGY Wow you're obviously completely retarded, I don't know what the hell you are trying to say. I almost feel kinda bad owning you so fucking hard but not really. Just go home kid, go cry to mama your retarded tears
NameyMD 11 months ago
@NameyMD What am I trying to say? I'm saying that you're nothing but a shit talking loser. You said you fuck people up? Fine, then prove it asshole. Come here and train with me and "fuck me up". You stupid POS, you don't even know what Sambo is do you? Or MT? You're a sad pathetic attempt at being a troll and you're way out of your league. Take some advice and quit before I make you cry on your keyboard you fucking amature. Oh, and you still can't spell, idiot.
SCROGY 11 months ago
@SCROGY LMFAO I can imagine you anally going over every word for mispellings like a geeky dumbass buttsucking bitch. You don't even deserve to read correct spelling, that's how much of a shit you are, it is a mockery against language to even communicate with a sperm burp like you. And ROTFL you whimper something about my flawless spelling right after YOU SPELL AMATEUR WRONG haha wtf is a an amature?
NameyMD 11 months ago
You're probably getting your little wee wee all hard when you act tough, and probably drink your own cum by the sound of your "threats". Completely and utterly owned you are, demolished to atoms. You don't even exist anymore, only in the form of a fart, still rubbing your retarded fingers on the keyboard like the ghost of a faggot.

@NameyMD Next time check someone's profile before you call them a kid, or is that too advanced thinking for your pea brain. Fuck tard.
SCROGY 11 months ago
@SCROGY LOL it's pretty fucking obvious you're some kind of drooling village idiot pissing his pants somewhere without me checking your profile which, by the way, stinks like shit! I don't want to go anywhere near your lamebrain profile. So goodbye you diaper-wearing dogshit.
NameyMD 11 months ago
@NameyMD I'm not going to comment on these posts because I already made you look pathetic in that regard, so I'll deal with your comments on my profile. You first post amounted to nothing more than "I know you are but what am I?". Seriously, reread your pathetic attempt at a come back and you'll see that that's ALL it was.
Your second post was you basically admitting that you like to amuse yourself. Now this would be because you don't amuse anyone else. I mean really............
SCROGY 11 months ago
@NameyMD ..................if you were actually funny I might get a laugh or even a cool new insult but you're just like every other troll on YT: tragically unoriginal. In fact you trolling comes right out of the internet guide to trolling for dummies:
1) Insult poster
2) make joke about his/her sexuality
3) challenge them to a fight you will never have to back up
4) attempt to damage control any stupid shit you've done that your opponent used to make you look bad
SCROGY 11 months ago
@NameyMD ..............
5) Use sophistry to make your shallow arguments look more intelligent than they are
6) Threaten to leave the fight even though you have no plans of doing so
7) Try to prevent your opponent form responding by blocking them
8) Make false claims about penis size, intelligence, hotness of girlfriend etc and then not back it up with proof
So you see, you're just another unoriginal pathetic internet troll who conforms to the same tired methods. If you really........
Lame.
SCROGY 11 months ago
@NameyMD ............had a 212 IQ why are you watching hockey fights? Shouldn't you be hanging out with Dr Hawking? Or figuring out a way to solve the worlds energy problems? Or coming up with truly intelligent insults instead of thinly veiled school yard insults? No no my friend, you're just compensating once again for your true lack of wit by throwing out everything that every internet troll has ever tried. Lame.
Your third post conforms to this pattern so closely that it is........
SCROGY 11 months ago
@NameyMD ...........actually funny, but not in the way you intended. More pathetic funny than ha ha funny. Finally your fourth and final post doesn't fail to conform either. In fact it's pretty much conforms to the pattern in the most predictable way possible with one added twist. You didn't even get the sarcasm present in that post, but then maybe I am giving you too much credit even though you clearly don't deserve it. My suggestion to you is get a new writer because you suck at trolling.
