Amazing Build! Can you tell me what you did with the rear drive shaft output? I'm looking to build a very similar car right now. Post more vids!! any other info on this car? Blog?
yes the ethanol yields less energy per part, thats why you run it more rich than on gasoline, so bigger pump and injectors, problem solved, more power :D
Ethanol does not mean green. It means it costs us and our food industry more and produces less power per part than regular fuel. Less power, higher cost(in the end) doesn't help. Propane is "greener" than ethanol, easier to be produced and is almost identical in power per part. It also requires no carburetor, fuel pump or injectors and provides a naturally aspirated boost of around 4psi due to its pressurized tank.
@raptorboy1014131 In case you don't know about Wikipedia, you should probably do some research before you post an ignorant comment. Octane rating has absolutely, positively zilch to do with power per part. Power per part is what actually makes gasoline so efficient and the reason we use it instead of any other fuel. Higher octane rating does generally mean you can run more advanced and more lean without detonation, but it doesn't mean more power. Check out the EPA stats on ethanol vs gasoline.

@wvXvxvXvw ethanol has an octane rating of 115 so you tell me if it yields less energy per part
