  • roberts awesome lol

  • "Im a very sexual being, if you must know, producing ungodly amount of... uh... phhhhphhhhh.."

    HAHAHAHH SMERCH :) !!

  • there's great chemistry between Jonathan Ross and Ricky, like in the beginning when they were on the talkshow and also the interaction in the post-talkshow gathering...makes me think that they are really good friends in real life. It's like Ricky is not Andy but being himself

  • @MissusFingerBottom they are good friends in real life, i think the interview was an actual interview with ricky gervais as himself, they just edited it.

  • @MissusFingerBottom they are really good freinds in real life! they talk about it on xfm n merchant takes the piss about how jonathan gave him a cat!

  • "the bucket fell of the thing", poor Maggie..

  • 1:23 - a real gervais laugh.

  • I once tossed over a picture of my sister when my sister came in. That was awkward cause I was sniffing her thong at that time too.

  • At least when the boy goes you have the consolation that ... there's one Chelsea c**t less

  • @belisariusorb you've regressed to unopposable thumbs

  • This Mr Jonafan Woss is a right c**t

  • Funny the makeup girl is the same who got stroppy in episode 4 - now she loves Andy?

  • Genius. HLAFO

  • FINALLY! About time he's bloody fired.

  • The mom is weird!

What can Andy say about a poor boy he knows nothing about??!

    My Family is awsome!

  • The scenes with Jonathan Ross are embarrasing to watch.

  • I think that mother is terribly pushy, I'm probably being mean about it but honestly, she's really putting Andy in all these uncomfortable positions.

  • @Wheelsgr no you are not being mean about it. She has no right to request for all these things, knowing that Andy will feel pressured to do it because she can easily go to the tabloids and blow things up.

  • 7:10 to 7:37 is that Ashley's husband walking behind them... as an extra?

  • leaving your "erotic materia" lying around LOL

  • "rather that than the terrible pain"

  • "Where is he?...ahh...there he is, there he is...there is the boy!! look at his face. Dumb-struck!"

  • Robert Lindsay is unbelievably funny in this, but can someone please do me a big favour though and explain his anecdote and why he finds it funny? Thanks.

  • @snowyalbino130 I thought it was the beginning of the story...but the rest wouldn't be funny for the kid 'cause he doesn't know who the person was, so he stopped

  • @snowyalbino130 I dont think that that was the whole anecdote. Alan bleasdale was the writer for the show in which Lindsay worked (GBH), so there's nothing funny about him walking into his trailer. I think he was leading to a funny story, but thought there'd be no point if the kid wasn't aware of who anyone is!

  • bloody hell ..... chill out. (unless you've lost a child, in which case i'm sorry)

  • That whole scene with the Lindsay fella is amazing. From the dance to the way he throws the bear at the kid, his mocking voice and the legendary fuck off.

  • were u masturbating?

  • just noticed. andys hairdresser has a nice boddy

  • OH FUCK OFF...kid's a waste of space. superb

  • love the way he say's that my family is the best sitcom in England, thank god im Welsh

  • ....why doesn't that vile-mannered mother not check Robert Lindsay for the way he talks to her beloved son ?!

  • She has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder/ Borderline Personality Disorder.

  • Are you really trying to diagnose a TV character? She is acting irrationally because her child is probably going to die and the scene is meant to highlight Andys social awkwardness when confronted with situations without Maggie as a crutch.

She's supposed to infuriate all of you because Andy has no idea how to placate or sympathise with her.

  • Ohh... Tee hee.

  • why the hell does she want him saying something at her son's funeral??? that's just an insane person's world! he knows nothing about the kid... that's so frustrating. geesh

  • So uncomfortable. When someone demands something crazy, the outcome will always mirror it.

  • I fucking hate this mum more with every minute that passes. RRGH

  • "Is there something wrong with your brain!?" LOL ouch

  • The was Andy says "Alright?" to Robert Lindsay at 5:04 makes me fall in love with Ricky Gervais a little...genius comic timing!

  • the masturbation scene just has me in stitches every time

  • haha Ricky's laugh is excruciatingly fantastic

  • Maggie's face watching Robert Lindsay dancing... brilliant.

  • lol

I dont know who that is

    OH Fuck Off

Brilliant Robert Lindsay is brillaint and really funny

  • The poor kid looks genuinely terrified @ 6:51. Either that or he's a bloody good actor. Robert Lindsay losing his rag has to be up there with Patrick Stewart as the best Extras cameo.

  • Nah, I'd say that accolade goes to Ross Kemp and Les Dennis. =)

  • Robert Lindsay was so brilliant in this episode I actually watched My Family on the strength of it.

Over two years later and I'm still regretting it. I'll never get those 30 mins back.

  • the way the actors are cast in here and written into the comedy is really really different than their normal movie/scenes

  • @ThePhunckyOne - probably Robert Lindsays best tv performance, my family is total gash!

  • @ThePhunckyOne Are you talking about My Family?? Is it that bad?? Before I go and watch it toooooo. Let me know if I'm wasting my time.

  • @ThePhunckyOne Nice one.

  • @ThePhunckyOne

    Was it really that bad??

  • @SharksKid It's absolutely atrocious. I've watched an entire episode. I was actually depressed afterwards. It's what I imagine being told you have a terminal illness would feel like. Ironic that he's in this episode.

  • im not sure the public do revile jonathon ross to be honest. Although i can see how the whole Sachs-Brand thing has damaged his rep, you;ve got to remember this was filmed before then.

  • nic cershaw 'wouldnt it be good, awesome tune..

  • One of my all time fave songs! Fits the scene perfectly as well!

  • "oh fuck off" legendary

  • "That was a nice surprise"

    hahaha, genius

  • aww bless maggie

  • If that mum talked to me like that I would put her in a fucking hospital bed along side her son..............................not really cause its all just make believe isnt it,whatever...........bitch.

  • "... but she's very stupid and that amuses me"

    "im not stupid"

    "shes very dim"

*points IV* "that looks like something you get a goldfish in at the fair, i wonder, could you keep a goldfish in there?"

    "see?"

    HAHAHA classic

  • Haha it doesn't even look like acting with ricky and jonathon ross playing on the grass... ricky was loving it did you hear his laugh? I swear they just filmed themselves hanging out.

  • They should have got Karl Pilkington to write Maggie's lines.

    This is the best episode

  • Robert Lindsay is like a very nasty David Brent!

  • I LOVE how Andy's practically asking the boy's mum to give him THE excuse to use for not coming to his funeral.

  • Robert Lindsay is fantastic in this episode.

"For God sake, is something wrong with your brain?"

  • Homg I love Robert Lindsay in this episode! He's hilarious!

  • 6:45 Brilliant. The animosity on his face when he tells him to **** off!!!

  • oh fuck off

  • 7:38 brilliant!

  • that mum makes me so angry !

  • yeh but the whole point is she losing her marbles because of her son. its a situation

  • im a very sexual being if you must know, and i produce an ungodly amount of...... Brilliant!

  • 8.00 onwards is sidesplitting.... when Andy walks out on Barry masturbating... what a reaction! lmao!

  • "I was born in 1949, but i know who Queen Victoria is!" Brilliant!

  • Sort it out, now!

  • 1.17 = Walrus sunbathing. Love ya Rick :)

  • This shows, great. Why don't we have this sort of humor in the States...

  • oh fuck off!! love that bit hahaha

  • omg! i would flip out at this woman!

    i couldnt take it!

  • what a bitch of a woman.

    "Now do the catchphrase!"

It wasnt a request, it was a command. Who does she think she is commanding other people around? it doesnt matter if hes famous or not, she doesnt even know him. People like her make me sick.

  • Okay, stop fucking posting that on each part.

    We get it.

  • but its ever so much fun

  • you seem to care, you're taking time out of your day to argue the point.

Anyway, i seem to have two thumbs up on the comment you hate, so meh, im not bothered what you think miss lollipop

  • I care, i enjoy reading other peoples comments, its a good way to get it off your chest (:

  • exactly

  • I was trying to have a quick one, yes, but it's like bloody Piccadilly Circus in here!

    love it :D

  • hahah the end of this is just.. *shudder*

  • dony u think in a way maggie is like Karl from Rickies XFM days?

  • Of course! He needs a Gareth, a Maggie or a Karl like all good comedy does. eg - Manuel, Woody, Baldric...

  • "As far as im concerned your fired." hahaha genius!!!!

  • "rude"

  • "god is there somethin wrong wit ur brain?" lmaoo

  • I'd love to be friends with Jonathan Ross.

  • i thort form 7.37-7.50 my computer had frozen that litle bit goes on for so long lol

  • Andy is behaving quite appallingly to Maggie.

  • well, all the times she's screwed him over telling everybody his secrets, i'd say she kinda had it coming

  • Were you masturbating?

    Hum?

    Classic Hilarity!

  • well, technically, she has no right in asking him to do anything so personal. he doesnt know the child, he might be busy, she doesnt consider that!

  • Are you for real? Asking some celebrity to come speak at your sons funeral isn't weird. I would definitely be uncomfortable, I don't think its him being an asshole I think its the mom being an idiot and putting him in an awkward situation.

  • WRONG

  • the jonathan ross scenes are painful to watch

  • RICKYS LAUGH LMAO!!!

  • FINALLY fired

  • Ross = legend

  • robert lindsays hospital bit is da best

  • 04:51 onwards is the best part of this episode.

Robert Lindsay Is Funny As Fuck.

"Your kid, does not know comedy. Sort it out, NOW"

"Guess who it is. Go on, guess."

    "Em...."

    "Alan Bleasdale"

"I dont know who that is."

    "OH, FUCK OFF!"

"That kids a waste of space"

    FUCKING GENIUS!!!!!!

  • tht fuck off is well funny

  • "OH, Fuck Off"

"That kids a waste of space"

    HAHA, Class!!!

  • how do you know?

  • wot do u mean? threat of imprisonment?

    wot are you talking about???

  • He's referring to taxes being used to fund the BBC which is a bit of stupid argument really.
