  • Fantastic Video ! Where did this come from ? or happen ? and the year ? Grew up in Wayzata - Minneapolis suburb - Early 50s -- me in high school and my dad ? -- He LOVED Eartha and her songs ! And so it carried on to his two daughters and at least one granddaughter !

We saw her on stage and then in person after concert at Orchestra Hall -- 2007- or 2008 ... some classy lady !

  • Classic..she is amazing..

  • amazing!!

  • love the song!

  • She is so amazing.

I have to perform this as a solo next month.

  • Macy Gray has a great unusual voice.

  • thats esmia off the emper new groove

  • Talent speaks louder than looks.

  • I heard this song once like 2 years ago, and for a whole week it's been driving me crazy because it's been stuck in my head. "WHAT IS THAT SONG" I kept shouting to myself.

I'm so happy I found it. Such a dang great song.

  • I was in High School when this song came out and was almost immediately banned from Minneapolis radio stations- times sure have changed

  • lovely woman...really!!!!!!!!<3 she's great

  • Wonderful!

  • I want to hurt flies

  • Wow - that was amazing@!!!!

  • She is fucking awesome!

  • oh, I love this song!

  • great song, but i prefer listen to this without the video;p

  • @zettebongo maybe fm radio? i tunes perhaps?

  • Why are unique voices not popular any more?!

  • @Gomess I've asked the same question all my life. I've noticed past the 70s, voices start to sound the same. I thought "maybe its just the quality of recording devices back then" but no, now I'm certain people just don't value the unique sound of a singer's voice.

  • @quitejaded sorry i dissagree with you. I'm a person. and I value the unique sounds of singer's voices.

  • Rip music ain't what it used to be

  • RIP to the most exciting women in the world!

-I would love to be remembered for that!

  • when I was a 5 year old girl in Peoria Illinois (in the 60s) I wanted to be Catwoman when I grew up. Thanks Ms. Kitt!

  • Look how much she does in this one frame with (almost) no props, no T & A, just talent.

  • She will be missed..

  • RIP Eartha, of colon cancer Christmas 2008 at age 81. A star to the end!
