  • YES! We are all ONE!..OH the Tears..HEART-WARMING! Loving ..Great video!

  • This left me in tears. what a fantastic video!

  • thumbs up below

  • its funny how much destrution it had to come to before THE WORLD came to work for one cause and how if we helped each other like this always there would never be war again but i guess since the government has no common since i guess we will just keep blowing each other up till its to late

  • @anonimo3030 um we do help ppl -.-* we dont just go on a bombing rampage 24/7 to tell u the truth not all americans r mean im not mean & im american i could even careless for war cuz i h8 it :/

  • I wish the US will use all their army, helicopters, ships, airplanes, soldier to help other people rather than bombing cities in the middle east. American can be truly amazing people if they wanted ...

  • So sad I was crying HELP JAPAN!!!!!!!

  • Excellent video. Made me cry...

  • I spent 4 months in Japan before the earthquake, and during that time I fell in love with this country and its people. I cried when I saw the images of the earthquake and the tsunami on the TV. I cried watching this video. God bless Japan, its people, and those who rushed to help them when they were in need.

    GANBARE NIHON!

    Stefania from Italy

  • It's horrible the effects of an earthquake on people and their belongings to see.

Whether in Japan, Thayland, New Zealand or Türkey so it is just terrible.

I am with my heart and thoughts are with you and hope to a lot of support from all countries of the world forever.

I myself have two earthquake (Richter Scale 2) lived in Germany, but that's nothing compared to this Quake in your countries.

    The video speaks for itself

    Walter from City ULM (Germany)

  • I saw this in school. Almost made me cry.

  • 10/10 would cry again

  • it was heartbreaking to see japan on its knees. whenever there is disaster anywhere around the world, japan is always the first to help out. it was the world's turn to help them.

now, if only its citizens would persuade the government and coastline communities to completely abandon their whaling traditions and slaughter of dolphins. this would signify genuine gratitude to the rest of humanity.

  • 3:43 to 5: 10 is awesome

  • Really touching! Please don’t ever forget!!! Ganbatte!!!

  • Whats the song played at 1:07 ?

  • I thought I couldn't be emotional anymore... But tears dropped here.

  • No need to be mean but...if you disliked this than you need help

  • RIP Ms.Taylor

  • This was so beautiful!! I admire the people of Japan so much. You've gone through a lot, but, you pull together and help each other to stand back up. Thank YOU for your example for the rest of us. I hope if I'm ever in your spot I can rise with your strength and love.

  • We thank you for the best example of Courage and Hope ... The World is always with Big Japan :D our prayers and love are for you :D, we know is not easy but Japan is not alone , we are with us. :D ganbare!!! gracias Japón (:

  • i dont think theres need to thank us we are humans! we should always support each other and expect nothing in return

  • i cried too!

  • It's almost been a year now. I luckily wasn't in the affected area, but even as a foreigner living in Japan, I felt very grateful for all the support and love Touhoku got from other countries. Thank you!

  • amazing video...shared it with my family. We are Japanese american born in Hawaii. I felt like I couldn't do much but I did donate a days worth of income to a Japanese relief fund at our local bank. It made me happy to at least contribute a little.

  • God save those who help themselves.

  • ありがとうございます。

    arigatou.

  • @mojya37 どういたしまして! がんばて ください

    From エルサルバドル 人

  • ありがとう。

  • wtf with 144 dislikes???

  • @ntvvirus - some people are simply hateful. And @bullmore12 - "God save those who help themselves"? I'm not sure what you mean by that, but it sounds like you're saying we shouldn't help others? If so, it's hard to reconcile a belief in God with that attitude. God made so many of us for a reason. We're here to help each other. God help you if you don't believe that.

  • @ntvvirus exactly what I thought!

  • God bless Japan! :')

  • I used to live in Kagoshima, Japan and this video touched me very much. I've posted your video on my site "Constant Content" along with information about NGO's. We have not forgotten you Ishinomaki. We thank you for helping us to not forget.

  • Thumbs up if you shed a tear of sadness and a tear of joy.

  • There are no words...

  • Thanks for uploading this johnkobayashitokyo I was in tears after seeing this. I wish there was a link that all of Japan could access so that we may all say you are welcome and we love you too. I never saw one clip of a complaint from Japan. I wanted to go and help as a diver or some kind of labor. Didnt have the funds nor means. I hope and wish you all well in Japan. I love the culture and the people. I just found out about this video. Once again, thank you so much for posting.

  • And in case you don't believe me, check the German WELT. The article by Prof. Zöllner is still online. Just look for "Apokalypse jetzt! Wir Deutschen sollten uns schämen" (lit. "Apocalypse now! We Germans should be ashamed") by Prof. Reinhard Zöllner.

  • Also "arigatou" is spelled wrong.

  • Remember 3/11 Japan. Germany is NOT your friend.

  • The German media painted an image of Japan where homeless people, foreigners and minors were forced to work at Fukushima. Not heores risked their lives among the Fukushima Fifty, according to the GErman media, but rightless peasants forced into service by a brutal, inhuman feudal state.

  • German Lufthansa stopped flying into Tokyo, citing local logistical problems. Air France and KLM continued to fly. Rumor suggests that the LH eventually flew via Seoul and had pilots replaced with locals, due the typical irrational fear of everything nuclear in Germany. Geiger counters were sold out in Germany, maps, globes and books on physics weren't.

  • German Japanologist Prof Zöllner wrote a long letter, pointing out the massive racism and hypocricy of the German media and public & the outright lies. He finished with: "Disguised as cultural critique and sometimes as sociologic criticism the tale of the Yellow Peril rises from its grave and stalks Germany. Fear is a master of Germany today. With friends like theses you don’t need a nuclear crisis." The article is called "We Germans should be ashamed" and appeard on the German paper "Welt".

  • Little known fact: the German S&R team ran away after barely a week. They abandoned their equipment and fled from an imaginary nuclear death cloud stating "there was nothing to rescue anymore". After they returned to Germany they bashed the Japanese response and called it "chaotic". Meanwhile the German media was full of outright racism against the Japanese. If you have friends like Germany you don't need enemies.

  • A Truly Shining Moment In History Where We As Citizens Of The World United To Help Those Affected....Our Forefathers Would Be Proud....God Bless All Of You!!!

  • @DIngram00 Indeed it was but sadly our forefathers were probably less tolerant then we are today...

  • "Find out what we're made of when we are called to help a friend in need." - Bruno Mars.

  • NIPPON GAMBARE!!

  • i cried.. a lot! T__T

  • I think the feeling of the people in this video really is widespread in Japan, because since about August last year, I've gained several (and I really mean several) new Japanese friends in facebook... In most of those cases, they requested me.

  • amazing video

  • May our heavenly creator be with you always. We love our brothers and sisters of Japan. Prayers will be continued and love will be passed on. We ARE all one; for all time...at every corner of the globe. Bless all of you.

I cried, too. Such a beautiful tribute will remain in our hearts and minds forever. :(

  • I cried... ='(

  • run*

  • this is nice to see countries united but it should not have taken a distructive tsunami and earthquake for this to happen. we are but one of all gods children no matter the colour or country we all come from. in the long room we are all brothers and sisters no mater what way you look at it :)

  • Its amazing how two countries can learn to relate to each other in just 70 years time. From bitter enemies to the strongest allies. Respect !

  • @tualatin67 My thoughts exactly. It is wonderful to think of how much hatred there was between us at that time, and now to see all of the people of each country who deeply respect and love the other country. Some of my closest friends are Japanese, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. :)

  • God bless you people. :)

  • There are 125 heartless bastards out there

  • @TheAngelGirl357 176!!!!! Those people got not heart at ALL

  • I love Japan, for it is a nation full of wonderful people full of heart. This video touched my heart, because Japan has been a major influence in my life. I'm currently taking Intermediate Japanese so that I can go to Japan and experience the culture first hand. You are all amazing.

  • i am a red cross volunteer and have done benefits all year,Im proud to still help these wonderful people of japan

  • I would like to download this video, how can I contact the owner to request a copy?

  • @redwhiteblue4ever You can send message to the owner. Search google for "Send a private message youtube"

  • touching video. why on earth are there 121 'dislikes'??????

  • Japanese people are awesome!

  • I hate earthquake and tsunami X-(

  • This video has me in tears. I'm a former English teacher who worked in Japan and was devastated to see the media footage of the earthquake and tsunami. My alumni group is holding an event to mark the first anniversary and raise funds for UNICEF's work supporting children affected by the disaster.

Japan, we're still helping! We love you!

  • Gambatte!

  • Thank you very much!!! From JAPAN

  • I hope "Arigato from Japan" continues to be viewed by more viewers. It is a well-produced tribute to all of the people who were devastated by this tragedy and to those who helped the Japanese people continue their recovery. The world will never forget "3/11".

    -Dennis Edwards Music

  • What an amazing show of love, gratitude and respect! Way to set the example, Japan...We do love you & are honored to have been able to be part of your recovery.

  • this made me cry. to know that there are people in the world who would do so much for others, to thank people with such gratitude. that not all people are bad, thank you for uploading this video, it really touched my heart. :)

  • Great video but the music is terrible. It'd be great to see this with the melodramatic score removed.

  • @SusanAcuff .... it was a beautiful presentation and sensitively presented. The score was appropriate.. It was a somber moment for all and over 3600 still missing... Almost a year later and an ongoing memoriam.. Melodrama is an understatement.. If you don't want to hear the music -- mute your speakers...

  • i just want to send a word to you japanese 加油!

    best regards from malaysia

  • >,< sad

  • God bless you all. Thank you for thanking us. Thank you for your example of humility, gratitude, courage and honor. Helping others is what friends do...or what they ought to do. We are glad we could help you in your time of trouble, heartache, and need.

  • What do you mean the Muslims are the only group of people who never helped anybody? Be nice.

  • From Thank you Japan!!!

  • どういたしまして。

  • I cried so much!!! Very well done!!! Props to staying strong Japan!!!

  • i cried alot lol

  • cute baby :)

  • Excelente video, mirenlo detalladamente.

  • Thumbs up if one of your obnoxious relatives sent you a link to this in an e-mail forward.

  • @FFSWhyDoINeedAName Ha ha, I procede to watch it but get side-tracked by something on the interweb. 5 minutes pass after only hearing the sound and not seeing the video i'm like, "WTF I don't even speak Japanese.."

  • im crying so much.

  • Think i got sand in my eyes T_T

  • who would dislike this? my science teacher showed this to us in class yesterday i was so touched:")

  • Well done video...it really got to me...please have courage and strength to continue your rebuilding and recovery from this horrific disaster.

  • @MrBastilleDay -.-* you know my english teacher is a really nice woman so dont get any of my teachers involved & im not saying hes right im saying I know what im talking about so please dont talk smack about her

  • THIS IS A POIGNANT GROUP OF PICTURES OF 2011 EARTHQUAKE. THE JAPANESE ARE SHOWING THEIR GRATITDE FOR WHAT WE AND SOME OTHERS DID.

THE USA SENT IN MANY TROOPS, PLANES, SUPPLIES!

  • @ChizzeyGaming I know that cause I learned about it last year & im not stupid if I have never fail a grade in my life

  • You are welcome-and I kind of feel like a jerk saying this because all I did was pray for them all. Thank YOU to all who participated in helping and healing of the people of Japan.

  • The weaboos are out in force pretending that Japanese people are better than people from other countries, lol.

  • Just a friendly reminder from a journalist at AP:

More leaks found at crippled Japan nuclear plant

By MARI YAMAGUCHI | Associated Press – 7 hrs ago 02/03/2012

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE SOLUTION OF THIS PROBLEM...

which is ABOLITION OF NUCLEAR POWER including NUCLEAR WEAPON

  • after that i went abroad in america. i regret so much that i couldn't go there as a Japanese to help them, to feel their feelings at least a bit, and to make those feelings a power for the future.

To make a better action, we need to learn, and to learn, we need to know. so, i regret, but i'll try to keep imagining their feelings, and to accomplish it.

  • If i had been able to help i would have!

  • We are nice to them but they aren't nice to us This is fake total lies from the Japanese. lol I have visited Japan a few months after the quake but why do they still treat me like shit? I've seen no Japanese people sitting next to me or even saying hello. and I am one of the few who donated money.

  • @1mSoKoo1 In many Asian countries, talking, smiling, sitting next to a stranger is considered rude and may give others the wrong ideas.

  • @1mSoKoo1 You should educate yourself. Learn something about their culture and you will understand why the act the way they act. The day when a japanese person sits right next to you, you know he does not respect you. Now gtfo

  • @Fumas12 Alright since you know the "Japanese Culture" tell me why instead telling me to "gtfo" Moron.

  • @1mSoKoo1 There is not one, but many books just about japanese culture. Do you think one comment on youtube is enough to explain it to you? Read S. Paul Verluyten's book "Intercultural Skills for international Business and International Relations" if you want to know more about other cultures.

  • @nellie2581 that is not true at all what so ever ! Get your facts straight theres this thing called history notice how history has story in it so go to the library & look up WW2 & you'll know why US drop those bombs! Or you can read what I just told MrIhatepapers cause we are not on top of the world & we are not the "new Roman Empire"

  • @MrIhatepaper well first off you should know that Japan attacked pearl Harbor which was part of the US which was in WW2 so to end the war America drop those bombs in Japan to end it! Now I have no clue if you ever read about WW2 but what I just told you is all true & secondly not all Americans are mean & cruel & so on cuz I live in America & I should know that I also thought that it was cruel to do that to Japan since it killed people the president didnt even want to do it at all!

  • @Bellanife u should know that the US send their ships to pearl harbor to force an attack from japan, learn history stupid cunt

  • @ChizzeyGaming You need to learn history. Your ignorance is shameful.

  • @ChizzeyGaming Are you a fucking idiot? OUR SHIPS ARE STATION IN PEAR HARBOUR, that's our territory dumbfuck, you think those 2 nukes extreme? the japanese killed over 20 million chinese 400 thousand chinese civilians were killed in "experiments" please learn your history because 2 nukes don't even scratch the mass murder japan pulled on the chinese.

  • All the very best to the brave Japanese people, you showed us courage to endure with dignity, to survive against all odds and to grow from it. May we all learn from you, Arigato Japan.!

  • What a wonderful, uplifting video... It's truly wonderful that there is still love, hope, and gratitude after such life-shattering disasters. I'll try to look a little differently on humanity from now on.

  • Brilliant video =)

  • You know sometimes humans can be despicable, evil, and just morally wrong but most people when it comes down to when it actually matters are good people. Good to see the fruits of their labor so to speak.

  • how did the swim team do?

  • Thanks for sharing

To be honest, my eyes were manly watered :) I'm glad to see the world so united in tragedies. Let's not forget that and many thanks to the japanese people for that video.

  • Great video.

  • And THAT'S a great video!

  • Great luck to the victims and survivors

  • I watched this in Japanese class today. I was crying very much.

  • @rixanyan I also watched it in Japanese class today XD

  • It was so sad but so lovely i cried. I love it! I'm glad they got all of that help and got there homes back! They all deserve it all!!!

  • とっても、ありがとう!( i _ i )希望を貰える映像です。

  • Inspiring to help... I am glad, so glad that they are restoring their homes after the earthquake...

  • The Japanese citizen does not forget you.

    Thank you very much.

  • 72 heartless idiots disliked this video...

  • Arigato for friends all over the world. We Japanese never forget your support.

  • Cried so much ;(

  • 日本気が落すないんで!

    皆さんは君と行くんだぜ!

  • that was such an awesome video, it's been a while since i cried like this.

  • great message that emphasizes the value of solidarity and highlights the courage and strength of human beings in difficult times. Good for the people of Japan.

  • A very touching video and a prime explanation of why the Japanese people are held in such high esteem in the United States.

  • Never in my entire life have i ever seen such gratitude and respect. These people are based off of respect, kindness, and everything good in this world. They truly show respect and kindness for any person, whether they be poor, rich, young, old, short, tall, straight or gay. These are the most amazing people on this entire planet.

    WE LOVE YOU JAPAN!

  • As a former English teacher from Canada who taught in neighboring Korea, the part about Taylor really got to me. Obviously I never knew her but I will always remember her for what she did. Despite not knowing her, I see her as a fallen colleague and a great example for future foreign English teachers to follow. Her family and school should be proud.

  • Then why US threw a nuclear bomb before?

  • @MrIhatepaper well, that was the greatest terrorist attack of mankind's history. nuff said...

  • @MrIhatepaper I agree with you, American is the new Roman Empire, wants to be on top, and set the example for everyone and built the nuclear plants.... Thinks it is better than everyone else.

  • @nellie2581 and the japanese followed the same example and fucked themselves, by the way japan tried to be the new roman empire, and boy did they shed blood

  • @MrIhatepaper why did japan murder 20 million chinese?

  • @TheKoolvid Not just 20 million had been killed

  • we really appreciate that you gave definitely warmest words and helped us.

  • I just... X'{

  • We what nothing in return jest friendship. I cryed do much it was so moving

  • Amazing video

  • Thank you sharing I cried so much

  • We thank you! Sending my love to Japan from Greece!

  • @TheMadoula * God Bless You All *

  • *BLESSINGS* AND LOVE FROM TURKEI TO JAPAN !!

  • @patriciapullman thank you for sharing...I am crying..

  • @TheMadoula ......
