  • Thou shalt not kill applies to the murder of guilty people too. What part of THOUGH SHALT NOT KILL do people that call themselves "Christian" not understand?- That opposes the death penalty. If he murdered people, then it doesn't give us the right to murder him in cold blood.

The most famous victim of Capital punishment was found guilty of Blashomy & taken to a hill outside the city where he was executed by legal authorities by hanging from a tree reshaped as a cross.

  • kill the cunt .. and fuck jesus .

  • I simply love Christians. Hypochristianity is the major funny part; thou shall not kill. Fucking loosers. I love em!

Here in Norway we don't have the death penalty. We don't need it, as we are civilized. Lowest murder rate in the world baby. lal

  • there's nothing in the Bible that opposes the death penalty? What about "thou shall not kill"?

  • @caffeinequeen89 It's translated murder....kill is too general, you can kill a lot of things not just people

  • Jesus certainly wasn't opposed to slavery... better reinstate that too!

  • "Jesus" doesn't run Washington State. The people of Washington reinstated capital punishment for cases exactly like these.

  • "I'd let him fry" LOL

    Christianity is self-contradictory.

Until science can ensure people like this kid won't recidivate, kill him or at least lock him up for life (or until the previous ^ condition is reached..). Otherwise, the risk is too great and there's no point in keeping him around.

  • i agree, somebody with the sick mind of a killer who just wanted to kill somebody for the fun of it cannot be truly rehabilitated, at least not with todays medical foundation.

Jail is too expensive and does him nor us any good.

He decided that life is worthless to him as soon as he killed her, i say do to him as he does to others.

Its just and fair to him.

  • If were gonna do to him as he does to us then shouldn't we kill his grandmother?

Jail does cost way too much, it costs more to live in jail than for me to live on the outside and that's fucked up but that has to do largely with prisons being a for profit business that takes a massive cut and so that is more of a bureaucratic problem and can be fixed if it's truly the money that bothers us.

If he prefers to be killed tho, that's fine, totally fine with that, it's his body his choice

  • i didnt get this one at all, what does his grandmother have to do with this?

He killed somebody, who was killed is of no consequence.

The victim was no accompliss to the act.

Why would we then bring another innocent victim into this?

As to his right to kill himself, suicide is stupidly illegal in the US, whether alone or assisted

People such as he also tend to take others with them.

I would raher we help him along in a controlled environment where he is the only one dying.

    One victim is enough

  • Relative Christian morality?

  • What a bunch of fuckheads. Fuck the death penalty.

  • Im not sure what the point here was, the hosts didnt even agree with each other, and the guy calling in tries to appeal to the xian world view and then turns out to be atheist, it's just silly all of it. God was ok with this woman getting stabbed so he let it happen cus he's all about letting people make their own mistakes so what's the problem let's keep making those mistakes, sure the death penalty does not deter crime but hey who can blame us for trying to murder people to satisfy our fear

  • do you think he can be rehabilitated?

    Because statistically, it isnt successful.

You cannot truly rehabilitate sick people who think killing is fun and easy.

He didnt do it for any reason relating to survival.

So your idea is to let him rot in jail? Whether he enjoys it or is miserable is even beside the point.

How does it benefit us or him?

  • We save money and space through the rare death penalties for only sick crimes such as this.

We also get rid of somebody who thought themselves that life was worthless.

Do to others as they would do to you, I have no problem with that.

He wants to kill, he has then determined life is worthless therefore he has no problem being killed and should be. Its the only humane thing to do :)

  • It really has nothing to do with the death penalty as moral or not, he got caught red handed but lots of people don't lots of people end up on deathrow for really stupid reasons like the law of parties in texas which states that if youre driving a car and someone gets out of your car and goes and kills someone you are responsible aswell and can be executed. I just don't think we can know for sure what's best for someone else and taking someone elses life isn't something I want to be party to.

  • Statistically as I said the death penalty does not deter anything, so if something does not work why would you keep doing it? To let him rot in jail benefits us in that we don't kill people and morally I feel better when my tax dollars go towards keeping someone alive rather than killing them. It benefits them in that if they are not guilty then they have the time to try to prove it, I think the expense is worth it because way too many people have been exonerated and many more will be.

  • i am not in support of or against the death penalty, but to be honest, I dont see the death penalty as needing to justify itself as a deterrant. I simply believe there are some people where its worthless to have them sit in jail for the rest of their lives. You can fiond some people 100% guilty and some people who are just warped in the head and until we can reprogram people I say whats the benefit of letting them rot in jail?

  • I al also not necessarily for the death penalty because of the reason you state though. Not everybody put on death row are 100% found to be guilty.

In the end, I am against the death penalty for only the reason stated by you, but I do not have a moral stance against the death penalty.

  • I think the callers point was, how can chistians claim to be pro-life and all loving and be pro-death penalty.

The fact that the 2 hosts disagreed proves the callers point, showing the silliness that nobody can really know how to follow, or what even is, thieir gods word.

  • Jesus WAS executed you fucking morons.

Not even Obama can save America.

    PLEASE SAVE US ALL SOMEBODY/SOMETHING/SOMEWHERE!!!

  • lol id let him fry

  • idiot hosts and caller
