U.S. Route 60, the Midland Trail, finally ends at Quartzite, Arizona. It then merges with I-10 and you can see a Calif. State Route 60 which eventually ends at the pier at Santa Monica. But, 60 is still continuous all the way to Ariz. There is now a Midland Trail Museum in South Charleston, WV.

Route 66 was orginaly going to be named Route 60 but Route was all ready their so they named it 66.
