I'm glad that Shickshinny was mentioned! I lived in Shickshinny in 1984 (well, actually Mocanaqua, but, hey, they both share the same zip code!!!) However, I am a little disappointed that Johnny Cash was acknowledged. The fact is that Hank Snow sang the original version of the song, and it had a GIGANTIC hit. This was LONG before Johnny sang it. Snow's version is the definitive version. I love Johnny Cash, I saw him perform, and he's one of my heroes, but, hey, let's give credit to Hank Snow.
