Also, I'm not expert about this, but it seems very odd that someone could've shot RFK when surrounded by very many people. The killing of RFK or even a failed attempt on his life is stunning, but it seems a little more stunning to me that he could've been killed in this sort of setting. Maybe I'm just lacking some details that'ld make this more understandable to me

If JFK had not been killed the US would have gotten out of Vietnam, but that's about it. However if RFK had won the election the global changes would have been bigger = not only would the US have been out of Vietnam sooner, neither Nixon, Ford or Carter would have ever been President, the Soviet would have fallen sooner, the economy would have been much better, we would have gone to Mars by now, and the world would be more peaceful and more stable.

Few people are worth dying for, but Bobby was one of them. My god, the concern he displayed for others. He took a bullet in the head, but what did he ask - Is everybody else alright? If I had been alive back then, I would've asked God to take me instead. Had Bobby lived, he would've ended the war in Nam. 2 of my uncles were drafted and died as a result of that damned war. @silvia86Z I was in first grade when RFK was killed and less than 1 year old when JFK will killed.Unlike some of you, I don't remember these events. But since I was old enough to do a lot of reading on these murders, believe these 2 men were NOT what the CIA wanted. The CIA did not expect John to get elected nor see so much support for RFK. These 2 men scared the shit out of the CIA, who, in my mind, had them killed and families torn apart. They were ALL ahead of their time including MLK, Jr.
