In context to DevilDog016's top comment: When was disco ever deemed to be actual music, let alone this? It's catchy I'll admit, but hardly different from anything else on the market today. It's a standard 4/4 beat using a mantra-like melody JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE MARKET. It's like Grandma's Christmas gifts every year; they're all packaged in pretty colors and bows that are different everytime, but it's always a gross looking sweater that comes out of the box.

@Wytchborne music isn't set into strict sections so that something can't be actual music. it's categorized, but it's not "not actual music". this is funk, which is category of music. today's mainstream music has a much different style, being much more repetitive than this (as in instrumention).

Chromeo really lit up that spark of hope in the sickening darkness that is today's music industry. They have the true funk touch to them, while bringing modern technology into them.

They're in a way the children of Cameo, Kool and the Gang, GFR, and all the disco and funk masters. They're keeping the flame burning bright, and keeping real music alive.

They're one of the reasons I'm damn proud to be Canadian.

theyre playing Montreal tonight@metropolis.Jan21,2011. I wish i could have gone. Chromeo is not as well known in Montreal as they should.be. They were featured in two big newspapers this week. Alot of my friends in Montreal have never heard of Chromeo, even though theyre local boys. Theyre music is the bomb!sick shit!
