It takes a large volume of air to launch a grenade. This means you have to have a compressed air chamber full of air on the launcher. That would make an undermount luncher to big. I've actually made a very small launcher that is a bouncing betty tripwire mine. So I could make an undermount launcher but it would be too big for on-gun use in my opinion. I've seen a few guys use them but they look rediculous.
All paint grenades have a safety and a trigger. The safety is what keeps the grenade from going off while you carry it. The trigger is what comes off when the grenade hits the ground allowing it to spray paint. On the BT grenades the safety is the pull-pin and the trigger is a rubber ring placed over the bent tubing of the grenade. So yea, You have to leave the pin in until you're ready to use it.
You should also lose the black plastic cap. It's not needed. Oh, and stop using metal pull-pins. Most commercial paintball fields are banning any metal parts on paintball grenades especially the pull-pins. People leave them on the field and they stick into player's hands, forearms, and knees. The metal pull-pins also cause flats on the Quads the staff members use to get around on the field. Use a flexible nylon pull-pin.
There's a design flaw in these grenades that causes them to not work alot of the time. They use a piece of rubber tubing as the trigger ring. It's under the black plastic cap. That piece of rubber tubing sticks to the tubing the grenade is made out of and it's also too tight. This keeps it from popping off like it should. BT, listen to me!!! I've been making paintball grenades for 10 years. Replace that piece of rubber tubing you're using for the trigger ring with a solid plastic ring.
btw everybody these grenades do not work as easy as in this video 99% of the time they hit the growned nd just strt leaking i have used atleast fifteen
@IIDASHII Its not a grammar book mate. It’s a grammar tome. Use the correct words if you are going to start lecturing others and remember some people are using English as there second language. Or, like myself, are Dyslexic.
@Jamacin01 If you can get your hands on surgical tubing, you colse off one end with tape or wire or something, then using a water balloon pump fill it with some "paint" and tie of the other end. Then when your ready to toss, rip of some wire and your good to go!
i had a problem with one of these, i was at a big scenario, and someone gave one to me( BT-M8), when he gave it to me i pulled the pin, and it just went off in my hand, getting me doused in paint and everyone around me, they didnt look happy either
Actually, Ben Tippmann left tippmann the company and created BT battle tested guns and equipment so these aren't tippmann grenades but BT grenades. Also the TM series of markers are based on the Invert mini so they come stock pushing 20 balls per sec while tippmann guns need to have the E-grip upgrade to become electronic.
I have one....wOOt. I'll post a video soon----actually I will right now. Only problem is it was the first test and filled with flour instead of paint.
I bought a BT M-8 from Dick's the other day. So I tried it in my back yard and it worked ok, but when I refilled, recaped, and repinned it filled with water it worked awesome.
The new BT grenades, both the M-8 and the M-12, have a latex ring surrounding the neck inside. So you have to remove the cap along with the pin or else it will go off on second bounce.
i was really really disappointed in this paint grenade... i used it in a real game, a perfect lob at a person behind cover, and NOTHING... the grenade just bounced around like a bouncy ball without releasing ANY paint at all. waist of $6
idk why they just dont make an exact replica of a nade, to where you'd have to pull the pin then it just explodes with paint, the outside of the nade be made of the of a paintball.. that'd be awesome!
Well, a liquid load would travel very far in large quantities like a fragment would, I believe the latex bladder grenades are the best grenades there will be.
these grenades are very good, considering they are Battle Tested. Perfect for airsoft, I used one yesterday during a battle, and they have a good radius and nice yellow brigh paint! not sure about paintball though, consdering paintballs all about spped...
i got to test these out back in april of last year. Great grenades, always went off. Very small and lightweight unlike other nades on the market. Only complaints at that time were the pins were hard to get off, and the fill color was very dull.
what's the intro music?

Actually if you fill a water balloon with paint, it would actually be more effective cause it actually explodes, and it hurts, believe me.
