Please STFU! You know nothing about mexican aviation, they have the most used airport in the WORLD! and the chance of crashing in a mexican airplane are the same than an american one, Shut the fuck up Hijos de la chingada:
This was a 41 year old DC-9 that belonged to a US cargo company. Only 2 crew members were on-board, one died an the other one sufferd severe burns but, survived.
Problem was a D-80 pin was still in the forward landing gear. Landing resulted in a semi u-lock with 7 deg angle rot-T which was just enough to cause what you see now.
Fault was improper inspection before take-off, due to both pilot and ground-crew not paying attention. There are supposed to be obvious red tags on those things so you can't miss them.
Boy are you an idiot. Those are USA pilots dumbass, and for your information mexican aviation has one of the safest histories in the world. Ignorant people like you is whats scary.
geeflyboy, your sooo dumb! The largest drug smuggling operator EVER was Amarican Airlines. And anyway, if someone smuggles drugs to the USA is because someone pays for them and consumes them here, so who's the ass? Do you know how many air accidents occur each year worldwide? 9 accidents in 40 years is NOTHING! I'm not saying that mexican aviation is one of the safest just "because", the air industry is the one that determined this. You sound like the typical racist bigot (ignorant as hell).
Yea OK Mexico is a safe drug free place and there are no violent gang murders all over and lawless corrupt land of Mexico. Shut up.

Comparing a back water 3rd World drug/human smuggling donkey riding Nation to America that flys Billions of miles & flight hours is a JOKE. Per flight HOUR, Mexico=disaster.

@geeflyboy 3 things. Mexico isnt a 3rd world country, the us buys and snorts the drugs that they smuggle meaning dont buy and they wont sell so both countries are at fault, and you must not get to see much other than dumb cartoons and hollywood movies if you actually think Mexico is nothing but a dirt poor donkey riding country.
@Nonsensei436 I never claimed it was a fantastic wonderland, it has problems but that still doesn't mean its a dirt 3rd world country. Only the poorest of Mexico migrate and since the US makes it so easy for them to get and live here, they figure "why not?". However the majority of Mexicans do alright were they are, Mexico isn't poor, rather it has large amounts of inequality and large gaps between class groups, meaning you're either super rich, normal, or incredibly poor. No "in betweens".
@Nonsensei436 not now :( i sincerely tell you mexico is shit and its not a wonderland with all that fucking insecurity besides im mexican and i live in mexico and i want to get the fuck out of here D:
America has 8.5 million flights per year. Mexico only has 200,000 flights per year. If you compare the numbers, Mexico has a horrible safety record. It's no surprise however, the Mexican government is very careless about aviation maintenance requirements. Mexico was forced to use the US FAA flight rules for flights coming in to the US (or lose the right to fly into US airspace), but internal Mexican flights don't operate under those rules. This is why the accident rate is higher.
is funny but the last passenger accident in mexico was in 2000 without injured but you can se that mexico has a low level of airplane accidents in the wold, you can find more helicopter accident or a car accients than airplane accident.
That's because there are so few flights in Mexico. Most of the pilots and aircraft are American. For every Mexican registered aircraft I've seen in Mexico I've seen 50 US registered aircraft. I've logged a lot of hours flying over remote areas of Mexico. Some of the most beautiful country to fly over in the world.
i agree about you, ofcurse here are less airplanes than Usa, but the most of the airplanes here in mexico are from interjet, mexicana, aeromexico , volaris, aviacsa, magnicharter , other like packmail, or mail service, the most of thos airlines just fly over mexico and airports where the american airplanes don´t arrive like puebla, veracruz, tampico, oaxaca, yucatan, sinaloa, durango, etc.. but by the way i agree about you
You mean Flight 1549? The US Airways jet whos turbines ate two birds, completely failed, but successfully landed in the Hudson river without killing anyone? What about it?
USA flys more flight hours in a day than Mexico does in 5 years. Do the math, the only award is the Darwin award. I also the few accidents are only the highlights (or low lights) of 1000's and 1000's of accident. Many accidents in mexico happen at dark and never reported (ie Drugs). Your chance of dying in a MEXICAN plan is 1000's of times greater.
No I won't shut my mouth usted tonto arrogante. usted es un bastardo estúpido, cójale.
I have been flying for 28 yrs. I'm an international Airline Captain and check airman for my Airline. I have flown in and out of Mexico many times. Before flying for the Airlines I taught Mexican pilots when I was a Boeing instructor in the late 1980's. I know what I am talking about. Ahora vaya al infierno que usted engaña.
well,is not the first time that accident like this occurs due to fighting among the crew instead flying the plane. but I am Sure, that nobody was at the control tower of the airport at that time and the lights of runaway were turned off, that is why the pilot mistakes the very well iluminated high way (that passes very close to the airport and in the same direction with the runaway) with the runaway
A local newspaper informed that the cause of the accident was a fight between the crew during the flight and landing. This version was leaked since the early investigation when the tape of the voice recorded was listened. Apparently personal or racial issues between pilot an first officer arose since the begining of the flight. The source asked to remain anonymous.
the pilots where from canada. Christopher M. James, and John Macintosh. I live in the saltillo, and I got the chance to see the debris that the plane left, people tell that the pilots didn't see the runway and crashed into electricity wires. it was a DC-9
Same goes for the 82 and the other versions. And if you didnt know this yet, the 717 is a maddog that got stuck in administrative problems and betrayed its original producer ;).
What's interesting is the flames shooting from the tail and the appearance of round lights that form the shape of the plane. If on fire, flames would be moving up and out. Just an observation.

One good example not to be for the North American Agreement, low wages and the cost of fuel allow the companies to operate under substandard conditions. Cut backs with the maintance the airplanes always goes firstbefore the CEO's take a pay cut, the just keep getting their bonus, and the tombstone government ageniecs don't ground the airplanes. This is happening in the United States more and more crashes it's just not on the news! Forth branch of gov. is media brain washing the Americans
KamikazeKoscki, you are full of shit. I work at this company and I will tell you first hand that our maintenance is excellent. I wouldn't work there is it wasn't! You have to trust your crew when it is your tail on the line regardless of whom you fly for. Aside from that, we are still waiting to see what happened in this accident. Take your shit elsewhere as it is not appreciated here.
That´s why you´ve got a big change on next government. You need to finally learn about diversity. Not just picking potatoes half a day and getting to the wrong side half a day. Crongrats for that, jejeje!!!
if you look at frame 45seconds, there totally looks like a face inside the plane....its located in the area that got torn off and its black...or am i just goin crazy???

What's interesting is the flames shooting from the tail and the appearance of round lights that form the shape of the plane. If on fire, flames would be moving up and out. Just an observation.

fascinating footage (unfortunately shot in the dark).
the plane rolling during the landing procedure tells that something extremely abnormal was going on.

Thats right, my husband works for this company and knew the pilot well. So you can go **** yourself.

How come this video hasn't become popular yet?
Either way, the investigation is getting started, so don't blame it on the pilots or plane yet. Lets wait for an official cause.

That´s why you´ve got a big change on next government. You need to finally learn about diversity. Not just picking potatoes half a day and getting to the wrong side half a day. Crongrats for that, jejeje!!!
