  • Great video. I just purchased new 2D and 3D LED Maglites. When I tried to take them apart using an Allen wrench (5/64"), it would not work. It did work on an older Maglite I have. After jamming a 2 mm Allen wrench into the set screw and pressing very hard on it, the set screw loosened and I was able to remove the switch. Come to find out that Maglite used a T-8 Torx set screw for these models. Apparantly some or all of the newer Maglites with a DL prefix on the serial number are like this.

  • How much was this?

  • Thank u

  • I really like Mag-lite too! I buy at least one a year for myself at the Black Friday sales. I also gift them to my female friends.

    The best flashlight ever!

Thank you for the video. I have three with corroded batteries, so the warranty info is helpful as well as the disassembly instructions.
