This video is incredibly rare, but I don't believe it was the best pairing. The scientific depth and originality of Maryanne Amacher's work goes far beyond that of Thurston Moore
'day trip maryanne' is a 30 minute documentary by Andrew Kesin filmed on November 30,2003 (when Maryanne Amacher was 60). 'Amacher & Moore 2/2' shows the last part. The missing second part is a 13 minute interview with Thurston. All three parts can be viewed at ecstaticpeace. I think a more enthralling collaborator would be Evan Parker. He get similar sounds with a soprano saxophone in a very live room on the recording 'Monoceros' that get in your head. Too bad it's out of print.
this is more then a statement, and my muse.sonic use ;)
