  • spartans? what kind of "inspired" naming is that? the spartans are community of a hellenic city. with the same logic, you could name the fleet "chinese" or "argentinians". ohhhh, but it must be because of the movie... seems like us military is running out of callsigns!

  • I want to become a pilot more than anything. Sarah gives me hope i can do it.

  • is it hard to become a plane pilot in the navy? and how long do you have to be at sea when you go out for a tour?

  • Do we need to take nrotc or can we just get a bachelor degree to get into navy flight program?

  • @81alanPae If you don't do NROTC, you need to go to OCS (Officer Candidate School).

  • They have kitchens in the navy? cool

  • Planning on becoming an NFO after I finish college, hopefully ending up in an F/A-18 or EA-6. Don't give a fuck what my mom thinks, lol. Not that she minds in the first place.

  • I hope to fly the super hornet :D

  • @MrAcecombatdude ye FUCK a egg beater HORNET mi say ! .......LEGACY HORNET though :)

  • Nice

  • Regardless of the Navy's age limit or other red tape i'll still become a pilot with or without the navy's help. BAH humbug!

  • I wanted to fly fighters... Goddamn Crohn's Disease.

  • man, awsome for her. But it bafles me as to why she didn't chose to fly a Fighter jet. lol.

  • @icecold40oz you don't have a choice. you are assigned according to requirements, or she didn't match the skill set.

  • obviously shes going to say go for it, they'd take away her pay for a month if she said its not worth it.

  • @SpyOpz94 what are you talking about??? every pilot has a passion for flight... to become a pilot its not just go apply, its grueling tests and retests. Ground testing flight testing etc... If she did not want to be a pilot they would prob throw her behind a desk.

  • kill those people without seying them. The mans dream. Murderers

  • it pisses me off that people join the navy just because of the attraction of the scholarships.

  • You can be a pilot in the navy?! That's what I wanna do!

  • What if your vision is not up to par? I'm 17 - in my last year of high school, already a private pilot, in the top 10% of my class, and my dream has always been to be a Naval Aviator. The only thing that could hold me back is that my vision is terrible.

  • @417flyboy PRK eye surgery. Research it.

  • @417flyboy As far as I know man is that you need near perfect vision to be an aviator

  • how much college is required before flight school?

  • @Ptorrescardona At least a Bachelors Degree.

  • Fly Navy!! I'm currently planning on going to USNA to become a Naval Aviator. I am focusing as much as possible to become a fixed wing fighter pilot. I wish good luck to the rest of you planning on doing the same.

  • I will never quit, i have A+ grades in high school i will never quit until i sit in my aircraft

  • @TheGnomelandSecurity Yup, of course.

  • uhhhh

  • i wish i kept my grades up in highschool to get into college

  • I want to become a naval air crewman..

  • This is my dream, thanks for the encouraging vids

  • she looked really hot in the thumbanail... :(

  • I'm wanting to become a naval aviator only in fighter jets. and im wondering what will it take when im older because i am only 13.

  • I am a future Navy pilot. :]

  • @MasterWhoaa11 Look at the eye requirements. Don't do your research on youtube, actually look into the job you want.

  • i would join the navy but my mom won't let me cause my cousin lost both of his legs in Afghanistan so I'm joining the Coast Guard and becoming a helicopter pilot!

  • @zestfultuba He lost his legs for nothing! It's an illegal and undeclared war that's bankrupting the country!

  • @SpyOpz94 hell yes he did.

  • @CommonCaucasian and the person I commented that to said "hell yes he did".

  • @CommonCaucasian he never said he didn't support the troops

  • @CommonCaucasian "are men and women in the military" lol grammar fail... I don't support them, how could you knowing that the good majority of them are brainwashed and think they are actually doing a good thing by killing civilians and all those "terrorists" in a foreign country that's tearing it apart. Dude watch the "US Troops speak out..." video. Just type that into youtube.

  • @zestfultuba you do know that you dont need your parents permission correct?

  • @TheMossad921 yes sir, but i don't want to get disowned.

  • Comment removed

  • @zestfultuba haha for me that would be motivating

  • @zestfultuba How would you get your legs blown off in the Navy? Also if your mom has any say in your professional life, then you will never know independence and will end up mad that you didn't do what YOU wanted.

  • @IamaRifle Marines. she said i can't do anything that may involve fighting over sees.

  • @zestfultuba So your mothers overprotectiveness is more important than your desire to protect this country?

  • @IamaRifle no. she is not anywhere close to over protective. she didn't raise me to die on foreign soil. plus, coast guard is protecting the country. they are the first ones to help people that are stranded at see. they are the first to help when there is a natural disaster. they are the ones who help stop illegal mexican drug cartels that use boats to ship weed and crack into the country. you call that not protecting the country?

  • @zestfultuba Just don't be sad when you're sitting on your butt for most of your career. I'm not going to argue with someone that relies on their mother to determine their level of patriotism.

  • @IamaRifle i am very patriotic. i would do the most dangerous jobs if i had to. just the fact of getting disowned by our birth parents is enough for most people to listen to them. and i won't be sitting on my ass all day because where i live i see those orange helicopters all over the place. and we don't even live near a major body of water.

  • @zestfultuba I told you I'm not going to argue, keep your mom happy if you want.

  • @zestfultuba wow. you really just posted the most nancy comment I've ever heard.

  • @zestfultuba Someday you may have to look at your parents and TELL THEM that it's your life! I know people whose parents were flat out against them joining the military, but after seeing their kid in uniform at graduation, they understood how much it meant to them. Being in the military brings all sorts of pride, and yes the dangers too. Tell your parents that even though it's the military, there are MANY benefits for you to develop as a person along with the risk.

  • @Robin360 sounds like a plan.

  • @zestfultuba if you really wan to join the navy, if you having a burning passion to be in the navy then tell your mom that she is stoping you from doing you duty for this country and this is true you have just as much chance of getting seriously injured in coast guard than u do in the navy and tell ur cousin i appreciate his service, commitment and sacrifice for this country.

  • @AceofGrenades i will do sir. thanks for that

  • @zestfultuba Dont let anybody keep you from doing what you want to.

  • @zestfultuba You can get deployed in the Coast Guard too. Just sayin.

  • @zestfultuba Mate if what your mum says is going to impact on what you want to do you should ask yourself how much you want to do it.

  • @zestfultuba i'm guessing you are an adult. So your mom really can't do shit if you wan't to join the navy.

  • Comment removed

  • @zestfultuba if your old enough to join the military your old enough to decide what branch you want to join, and if your joining to see some action you might not see it in the coast guard. Youll most likely be rescuing idiots who got them self into shit on the water

  • @TheRidersChoice and your even more likely to drown with those idoits im joining the marines my mom cant stop me only pussies like tuba will let hes mom tell him what not to do

  • @zestfultuba Your cousin lost his legs... so you can't fly and get paid for it? Fuck that logic, Blue and Gold! Honor, Courage, Commitment!

  • Comment removed

  • @zestfultuba YOUR MOM WONT LET YOU LOL

  • you know when your 18 you can join without parents permission

  • @samsizil yeah but there is a difference between approval and permission

  • my mom dosent want me joining either but after she sees me get my navy aviator wings that all all change

  • @samsizil Don't let your mom hold you back. Being a pilot is one of the most fulfilling things you can do in your life. Your mom has lived most of her life, don't let her decide what you're going to do or not going to do. You don't have many chances to be a military pilot; there is a age and education limit/prerequisite. Graduate from college and follow your heart. Don't let ANYONE hold you back. College (4 yr degree minimum) is the first thing you need to get out of the way.

  • @zestfultuba LMAO your mom wont let yu dude grow some balls the navy would be the best thing that ever hapend to you!

  • US Navy all the way!!
