Evolution certainly exists and to ignore the evidence is bordering on insane, the big bang almost certainly happened or something to that effect of incredible power, there is a huge amount of evidence for both. Neither of these disprove god, but I think we can safely say there wasn't a world flood or a biblical genesis or giants/unicorns, all definitely false.

school is a brainwashing facility designed to conform kids minds into useful tools that work in society. the way I said that definitely sounded bad, but it technically is true.

the bible is stuffed with good thoughts, even if it is fiction. if this kid, as he gets older, has it ingrained in his mind that people are valuable and that he should treat them as he does himself, then that's good.

The fact his dad is reading to him in a calm and safe way gives him reason to believe his dad and therefore attach. The reason why he 'preaches' is becauase as you probably know babies will immitate what the say an attachment doing, i.e. his father. It is not God, Jesus or the bible it is because the kid is in whats known as the Critical stage and he's being brainwashed.
