Man, Will Smith sucks so very much. His rise in Hollywood has been inversely proportionate to the ever sinking quality of American film, which now consists mostly of badly remaking foreign films and squeezing every last cent out of comic books.
Dude WTF! this movie might be the best in it's catagory. it's true, noone gives a crap about the character (i hardly do in any film nowaday's), the thing it was aiming for was giving you a picture of the human race being wiped of the earth. as for will smith, i think he's funny. emotions? what are you a panzy? the terminator doesnt show any emotions at all! and that was a big hit. if you want emotions go watch the sound of music or something.

I went to the pictures to see it twice when it was first released - it was only recently when a mate pointed out to me that the President Of The United States Of America had gone up in a jet fighter for the final battle (something I hadn't clicked at first) that I realised it was all a bit stupid - it would have been better if they had removed all the comedy elements and made it more like War Of The Worlds
For every one good movie there is an equally bad one. Not everyone likes every movie. I am sure that other countries make as many good films as America and the other countries make as many bad films as America. It's a give and take thing. By the way, I love ID4.

This movie I believe is OK its suppose to be dumb and stupid thats the point. But dont ever make fun of where the film was made because some of the best films ever produced have come from America such as the Godfather films. Oh and we have Scorses, the greatest filmaker of all time.
I agree the film is crap and the USA is mostly crap but not all of us are assholes. Some of us actually see things for what they really are, it's just that we are surrounded by assholes in the US here and we (the real people) get overshadowed.
That's the joke. Making fun of the celebs and all that American Hype. That's the joke. That is why I laughed my ass off. I am an American and I love it.
I've noticed that Brits really really hate ID4. Just saying.
