@theCrusifix Well, that's very unfortunate, that your father and his brothers were involved in criminal activities. There's a very thin line between freedom and corruption. It's a sad fact, that many outlaw bikers manufacture, distribute and traffic meth, sometimes the whole chapters are involved, but calling HA a criminal or a terrorist organization is just nonsense, because it didn't start of as such. Most of the members are ordinary hardworking citizens. I also happen to know some 1%'ers.

I have owned a bike since i was 16 and legal, ran with many other non affiliated riders, Most are members of abate, and not once have we been harrased, arested, searched, or any of that. take off the patch and i promise you it will end, excuses dont go far with me!

@theCrusifix Doing some WORK usually means guarding, bartending, tidying and running different errands for the full members. The aim of the initiation process is to weed out the weak. You'll be put through different tests, it lets the members know, what kind of a person you really are - are you a quiter, are you trustworthy, are you able to stand up for yourself and your brothers. You have to be 100% sure, that you really want this. Forcing a prospect to commit crimes is against any clubs code!!

If you're a biker and want to belong to a group of people, that stick together no matter what, then ordinary clubs can't offer you that. Even if some members sell dope, doesn't mean, that all patch holders are criminals and have to be feared!

@theCrusifix Patch holders are constantly being harassed by the society and by the cops. You can be pulled over, searched and arrested for no reason. Riding in packs is a show of force and yes, there is power in numbers. It takes away the temptation from police and rival clubs to confront you. In the case of conflict with the cops, you'll also have more witnesses to your cause.
How else are you going to make your club or organization last if not by recruiting new members?
