When most of the time if they even saw a fake zombie they would scream like a little girl and run without even grabbing any weapons. thebest way to defend is using those claw thingy's in the end, a small buckler and u medium lengt weapon so u will have maximum mobility, u will never run out of ammo and if u train like 1 month with swords and stuff on dummy's u will have a 2% chance of surival cuz u still can get infected or ran over

Sorry guys, just because you play Black ops doesnt mean your gonna live. You might have more knowledge on Guns, and maybe your less afraid of zombies than non-gamers. But the typical video game zombie simulator is only about 30% accurate because Brain Destruction (HS?) isn't an instant kill. And don't try to tell me 75% of hardcore gamers are physically fit to run long distance, or handle a gun because it just isn't true. Go out to a book store, and buy the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.

@LilWheezyWayne Well, I don't say Black Ops is completely bad, but the only USEFUL thing your learning is Gun Types and Models. The shooting isn't really helping because the weight of the controller isn't the same as the weight of a gun. Neither is the hand position. You got a good chance because you are a Boy Scout and Cross Country runner, and you are Trained with guns. Not all gamers are as well trained as you are.

I Wouldn't Want to use A hand weapon because when you use it you spray infected matter everywhere on your friends on yourself and even if it's a hand weapon that doesn't have alot of "bloodshed" there'll still be blood on the weapons and if you touch that infected blood or matter in my book you are screwed. Unless the virus is airborne and you have some weird ass immunity to the virus in a whole then fine use a hand weapon I'd preferably use a Crossbow or spike gun like in No Country For Old Me.

don't use a katana if you're trained into it, katana are too heavy to be used and too thin. if you want to use a bladed weapon, use a kukri or machete (it's way thicker, chop stuff down in case you need supplies and they don't need as much maintenance as a kanta should) plus their much cheaper then a katana.

@zvz2ezzvz Rocks and spears are nice, but if the zombie apocalypse really did happen, you should also look into short blade swords and defensive leather armor, think Ren Faire. Believe it or not, spears, gladiuses, and leather armor were what most Roman soldiers used during the height of the Roman Empire. A short blade gladius, about 24 inches in length, and hard leather armor (bronze armor was reserved for officers/generals). Very primative yes, but effective and awesome for close zombie combat

A good shotgun with lots of ammo and a good pistol for back up cant be beat add a khukri knife or good machete in there and maybe a smaller back up knife like something made by Ontario knife company or cold steel ,gerber whatever and your killin all day with a small break for lunch lol you dont want to be lugging a big heavy sword around with you if you can help it

you can get these cold steel swords reffited with quality authentic meterials from guys like Fred Lohman with genuine japanese Honiki wood but it costs in the hundreds of dollars. For the budget zombie hunters I recommend blades like the cold steel khukri or latin machete these are cheap and tuff as nails, You have to really study up on swords before you buy them its the things you dont know about that nail you and its very easy to get ripped off ,I know ive been collecting for years and years

Cold Steel, Hanwei & similar companies make some great blades but the weakness is in the Tsuka (Handles) these swords are made in places like India and China with really cheap wood and they break like nobodys business you want quality buy a Howard Clark katana only prob is there like 3 gs
