First off... I'm still not convinced aliens exist, but I can't deny 5 of us seeing one of these from our home in Selah. I can attest for this. I saw a UFO last night. I found this vid through a search.. looking to see if you can signal them with a laser pointer. we tried it last night, and 2 of my friends saw it as well. remarkable really. I don't even know what to think, other than there is no way it was a government craft. it briefly came shooting across the sky from right to left, maybe 150yards up, then disappeared before it would have been out of our line of sight.
@skywatcher068 no. saw it in northern new jersey. we went out on my friends front stoop, just so my other friend could see what a green laser beam looks like at night. my on other friend who is into ufology said we could signal a ufo with them, and no shit maybe 2 minutes after he said it, we saw a craft. it looked like it could have even been chasing the beam. what did it look like? it was round, kind of amber-ish on the outside and lighter in the center.
@skywatcher068 cont.. almost silverish. it was round but not flying flat like you'd expect. it appeared like it was sideways.. like a circle. it was maybe 35-50 feet across, but tough to really tell because it happened so fast. my friend was pulsing the laser 3 times in random locations. but to answer your question, yes there was a response.. what surprised me most was how quick it happened. we were outside for no longer than 5 minutes and it happened.

Have you inspected the area in the woods where the beams hit the ground?
@stepmanias I have no personal experience using CE-5, but there are a lot of cases where there has been successful response when signalling to ufos.
Next time they "come by" you can use a flashlight or a laser pointer pen, I would not recommend pointing a laser pen directly at the object but toward the left or right of the object/light source.
Make some kind of simple light pattern - a code, for instance three short flashes and wait for response, repeat this several times.

I don't remember the shape but I want to say it was either orange/white/yellow in color. I do remember when it flew off it went in the east direction and it was gone in a flash. We seen a huge blue ball of light come out from behind those hills. Behind those hills is Hanford. The blue light hopped from there to Mabton. From their the light turned orange red as it one hopped tward Bickleton. This all happened in about 5-10 seconds.

Theres a military base nearby the Yakama areas and these lights are seen on the regular appear and reappear, or even multiply.

Some of those "sightings" are just illumination rounds fired from the mortars at the Yakima Firing Center.
