i prefer the american version, mostly because i saw the godzilla vs mothra and king gridrion movie and hated it. They have these stupid stories about how the three are so magical and i forget most of it but i remember it being rediculous. 1. That makes absolutely no sense. Assuming that G2K is ahem "like jr" because there are no facts to the first one is flawed logic. You'ed have to take into account that Jr is not insane like G90's to go around and destroy tokyo for god knows what. Also Toho themselves declared the film to be a direct sequel to the 1954 classic film. Therefore he is not Jr.

1 There's your answer. To the very first one. All GZ movies from the Shinsei series is connected to the very first from 54. They don't explain why or how the first one survived/if this is a new one like in the sequel with anguirus or w/e, they just say it is because they're lazy like that.

1. *Grammar. A, not E before the last R, genius. Also you have no proof that he is Jr. in the first place. Restarting a series means going back to the beginning and working from that point. G2K and all films onward ignore all continuity except for the very first film in which they use as a backdrop for future films.

There is no possible way that it is junior they are from two different series anyways. They are three major series the showa (1955-1975) the Heisei (1989-1995) and the millinieam (2000-2005) Jr. was from the heisei contiunty, G2000 was from the new era of films that disregard any of the prior ones even happened minus godzillas first appearence in 1954. So there is no way they are connected because they are part of 3 different reality changes.

Screw you. The way a monster looks shouldn't really matter. Just because Zilla is CGI, doesn't mean it's better than Godzilla. Zilla might look a lot more "realistic", but other than that it's a big, stupid animal with no personality. Godzilla is a monster with a heart and a spirit and that's why people watch his movies, even if Godzilla and other Toho monsters are actors in rubber suits.

Godzilla has run in many of his movies. Godzilla swims in almost every movie. Godzilla also has the ability to fly(Godzilla vs. Hedorah) and burrow(Mothra vs. Godzilla and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla) and he even can survive on other planets(Invasion of Astro-Monster). Godzilla thinks too, he's a lot smarter than Zilla. Zilla doesn't breath fire, he just has "flammable wind breath".

Well, there's no need to say it. And plus in the Toho Godzilla films the military isn't weak because they have giant robots and laser cannons and they don't hurt Godzilla. I know those things don't exist in real life, but if 12 missiles killed Zilla, I'm sure the Japanese military in any Toho Godzilla film could kill Zilla without a problem.

i prefer the american version, mostly because i saw the godzilla vs mothra and king gridrion movie and hated it. They have these stupid stories about how the three are so magical and i forget most of it but i remember it being rediculous. The storyline for the american movie though was an allright one wasn't great but at least it was more believable then the japanese godzilla movie i have seen.
