hey i have had my 125gallon saltwater aquarium for 3 weeks now.. in the last couple of days i have noticed the water go murky '' like a glass of milk has been poured into the tank'' as you say.. i have nt done any water changes yet. bt the nitrite is at a high 5mg/l.. will the water clear up or will i need to deal to it .... thanks

hey T, after only three weeks its too early to tell. its possible you have a bacteria bloom or are over feeding. allow the Cycle to complete itself andf then re-evaulate.

hey J, there is the slim possibility they could taint an entire tank. its the same issue as a pufferfish, there is an organ that secretes a toxin. I have lost my share and have never experienced a wipe out.

lol that racoon butterflyfish has a taste for metal i love altwater fish I'm only 12 and hav a 30 gal reef tank my dad got me into the hobby he has 100 gal reef tank and in our dinig room area we hav a 24 gal nanocube I LOVE THE SALTWATER HOBBY!!!!
