It's called course management, you'd be amazed at how well you play when you have good course management. You don't have to hit the ball good to be good at golf. Just play with what you have, and go from there.

I know this course, it is very difficult, look up huntingdon valley country club, the course rating for one of the 9's is 38 and the par is 35.

@kumkumkumifiction The only thing which gives this 9 a course rating of 38.8 is the fact that the holes are long. However if you have a decent drive then these holes aren't that long at all. ON the 460 yard par 4 I'd hot a driver and 7 or 8 iron in. back in the days before modern equipment and balls you;d be hitting a 4-5 iron in.

So no the course isn't that hard.

@nhioe if you know anything about golf, you should know that you can't judge a player solely on the quality of their swing. Huntingdon valley is actually a very difficult golf course, look up the website. shooting under par here is quite a round really
